Just booked in Asheville

Beautiful, inspiring and peaceful.
A peaceful retreat awaits you in the trees just outside of West Asheville's "locals" downtown! Walkable to Haywood Rd and all our excellent neighborhood restaurants, art and yoga studios, farmers market and pubs. Or you can borrow a bike from us and zip into town. Note: Our house is in a dense suburban residential neighborhood and not outside of town. We have neighbors on all sides but we are lucky that our house is in an urban forest that affords privacy. This is a quiet place to write and rest or just commune with the big oaks around your private deck. The studio apartment is below the main house which has its own entrance and outdoor space. Our family lives above and we are very respectful of your privacy. The studio is SMALL one room space (12x15) but well equipped with a hot plate, under counter fridge, small table and 2 chairs and a queen size bed. You have your own small bathroom with 3x3 shower and toilet. Bathroom sink is in kitchenette. A laundry room is right next door and is also available. If you are looking for an unique space that is peaceful and quiet but part of a vibrant creative community you will enjoy staying with us and we will enjoy hosting you!
West Asheville is the best! Quiet and neighborly, it's not like downtown Asheville with hotels and so many tourists but you can get there or the parkway or the Biltmore very quickly by car. Downtown, five minutes, everywhere else, ten minutes. We have our own downtown in West Asheville and there's many excellent restaurants and music venues within walking or biking distance.
  • This was the perfect little apartment for us in a great little neighborhood. The apartment had everything we needed. It sits over a wooded little ravine and is walking distance into West Asheville. The neighborhood is super quiet. It's only a short distance to the Biltmore and to downtown Asheville.

  • I would definitely recommend this room for the summer time. Jakub was showing us our room, he was really friendly. It's separate from the house, with an on entree. Really nice area and a lot things to do in Asheville! Close to the interstate, but you can't hear it. Nice place to stay! We only had a problem with the heating. It doesn't work in the night, so we woke up twice an we had 40F in our room! IT WAS SO COLD, similar to the outside temperature! So you should go in the summer time....

  • The cabin was set in a beautiful location! We were very happy with our stay. Since the place is small and simple I would recommend cleaning yourself to avoid the fee. It didn't take too long. If you are coming to Asheville this is a great option. One thing I do want to mention, from the posting it wasn't obvious to me that this was a split cabin. So this space is underneath the main part of the home.

  • Lisa and Michelle (and Jakub & Maria!) What a beautiful weekend at your little sanctuary! It was the perfect spot for me and my husband to unplug. The room was cozy and well appointed with everything we needed. We are huge fans of rustic modern design, so your spot was right up our alley! The view outside of the window was also heavenly. It was not as "tucked away" as we expected, but the residential area it was in was lovely. The location was just a short (under 10 minutes almost everywhere!) drive to downtown, the River Arts District, and other great spots in West Asheville. Lisa and Michelle were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Great hosts! Thanks again!

  • The apartment we stayed in was very cute and quaint. The noise was at a minimum and the place made it feel like you were in your own cabin in the woods. The apartment was walking distance from West Asheville and about an 8 minute drive to downtown Asheville. Location wise I would highly recommend it!

    Lauren2015-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Michele made checking in very easy. The keys were waiting for us at the door. The space is a little bit smaller than we expected and the walls are relatively thin so the upstairs neighbors woke us up a few times. Other than that, our stay was lovely. Great location and amenities.

  • A 5 star experience! We had an awesome stay in this studio. Very relaxing with attention to detail.

Located along the Swannonoa River only 12 minutes from downtown Asheville, this quaint space is a perfect getaway for a romantic weekend or a personal retreat. Jacuzzi tub for two, private wooded porches w/hammock, and swing make this a sweet mountain getaway.
Relax on the hammock and enjoy the sounds of the river on the porch swing. The comfortable, private porch is the perfect place for reading, relaxing, and enjoying an afternoon beverage. Enjoy a Jacuzzi tub for two and wind down. The studio is accessed through a private entrance with private parking and features a queen size bed and a queen size sleeper sofa, flat screen tv with Netflix and Hulu streaming services, DVD player, fridge, coffee maker, tea kettle, and microwave. Coffee, tea, and chilled water are provided. Studio is stocked with care. Books, games, and art supplies for a creative and relaxing vacation. The property is located in a house perched in the trees--ideal bird watching and spotting wild turkeys, river otters, blue herons, beavers, ducks, and the occasional black bear. The river is only accessible via a short walk across the street and down the riverbank. Please note that while actual treehouses are amazing, this is a "treehouse," meaning a studio within a house in the trees! We just want to be clear.
This east Asheville neighborhood is a gorgeously wooded, private refuge with easy access to Asheville's best spots. 12 minutes to Downtown Asheville 3 minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway 5 minutes to Warren Wilson College 15 minutes to Bilmore Estate Creekside Tavern, Filo Bakery, MoJo Coffee Truck, Pomodoro's, and the world's best taco truck are only minutes away on Asheville's eastside. Our neighborhood is a quiet, residential locale. Our priority is to respect our neighbors. You'll often find kids and pups navigating our winding neighborhood roads. It is essential that all guests drive slowly and carefully!
  • Loved Heather's "Treehouse"! Very comfortable and clean. Nice area...10 minutes to Biltmore. 15 to downtown. 10 to Black Mountain. Would definately recommend to friends visiting Asheville.

    Angela2016-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • Heather is a fantastic host! The studio is well decorated, clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need for your trip including oatmeal, coffee, tea, etc. She also had rainy day activities like cards and board games available, which came in handy for our trip! All of her suggestions and recommendations in town were great and made us never want to leave.

    Nicolette2016-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you so much for the "treehouse" experience!! I had a wonderful time and Heather is a great host. If I find my way to Asheville again I will most definitely stay in the treehouse!

    Deborah2016-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • The "treehouse" was a lovely space and we felt very comfortable staying here. The swing, hammock and jacuzzi were wonderful to relax in. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend. Only thing we didn't realIze is that the river is across the street. We love the "treehouse"!

  • I went for a birthday weekend getaway and it was perfect. Heather had decorated the place for my birthday, it was so nice! Enjoyed the stay would come back again.

Quiet, secluded country cottage only 6 minutes from downtown. Sip your morning coffee on a private brick patio surrounded by large trees and singing birds. This is the downstairs unit. To see upstairs unit visit https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1950593
The best of both worlds! Quiet, secluded country cottage only six minutes from downtown Asheville. Sip your morning coffee on a private brick patio surrounded by large trees and singing birds. Enjoy easy access to West Asheville's restaurant scene. If you'd rather have your own private porch and deck with great views of the surrounding trees, check out our upstairs unit. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1950593 Please read the HOUSE RULES before booking. Most importantly, we only have parking for ONE CAR per unit, and only allow two people maximum per unit, no exceptions! (If you have an extra car you'll have to leave it in a parking garage downtown.) This private apartment is the ground floor of our our cozy gated home at the end of one lane gravel road. We live in the little house in the backyard. In front of our house is the Crown Plaza golf course and mountain bike trail. The apartment is fully furnished, including a fully equipped kitchen with a full fridge, microwave, four-burner stove & oven, a coffee maker, a toaster and a blender (perfect for breakfast smoothies!) It includes Wireless Internet, off street parking for one car, complimentary coffee and tea. All linens and towels provided. We also provide shower gel, shampoo and hair conditioner so you don't have to pack these bulky items! Electric heating with two separate thermostats keeps the apartment at an optimum comfortable temperature. A window air conditioner unit is provided in the summer months. The bathroom has a custom-tiled double shower with glass doors, underfloor heating (great for keeping your toes warm!) and plenty of storage for your toiletries. The apartment is not suitable for children as it is not childproofed. The bed is a queen size. We are surrounded by trees and wild spaces, which makes it perfect for the wildlife that live here. We have raccoons, opossums, red foxes, woodchucks, chipmunks, squirrels and the occasional coyote. Our bird-friendly yard is home to over 20 different species of birds including a resident pair of red-shouldered hawks and a screech owl family. Our house is only 45 minutes away from the Cataloochee valley in the Smoky Mountains National Park. The valley is known for its elk and black bear population. The east side of the Smokies is great as it is less touristy than further west. It is a great place for a day trip! Enjoy the benefits of living close to Downtown and recharge your batteries in our tranquil home.
  • Before our arrival, Cristina and Hal promptly responded to my emails regarding our check-in plans. Our hosts made us feel welcome by greeting us with warm smiles when we arrived to Nature Lover's Retreat. They gave us a tour of the home and showed us where everything we needed could be found. The rooms were cheerful, well kept, clean, and neat. Everything was arranged just so to provide a warm, welcoming space. Cristina and Hal gave us excellent recommendations for places to hike, visit, and eat based on the preferences we shared.

    Linda2015-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • We found Hal and Christina's place to be the perfect spot of our stay in Asheville. It is clean and modern and comes complete with some of their wildlife photography. It is tucked away spot but with easy access to the town. As hosts they were very helpful.

    Dean2016-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • They were great!

    Jarrod2015-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • Can this place be any cuter? You feel like your really in the mountains. The rough terrain to get to the house makes it feel like an authentic country retreat. Tucked away at the end of a gravel road lies a little piece of heaven in Asheville. Everything is no more than 15 min away. Location is perfect. I also can't stress enough how clean this place was. I was also impressed with the attention to the detail on all the decor. The host are wild life photographers and they have blessed the wall with their art. You really feel all the work they put into making their guest feel right at home. Cristina is very sweet and always quickly replied to any questions I had. We got to meet Hal briefly and he was also very nice. I wouldn't even bother looking for a different place next time we go to Asheville. This place had it all. We'll be back again soon. We didn't have enough time to enjoy a hot cup of coffee in that adorable little porch out back. Thanks again for everything. Hope you enjoy the bottle of wine and send pics of the key lime pie. Love, the two Girls from Miami

    Maidel2014-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Cristina & Hal were excellent hosts and provided a wonderfully appointed, cozy environment! Complementary organic coffee and tea rounded out the quiet, tastefully cottage nicely. Would highly recommend!

    Andrew2016-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Our hosts sent us welcoming emails with suggestions for good restaurants. They also greeted us when we arrived and were available to us the entire time we were there (they live in a separate house on the property). The description of the house was accurate--very nice!!--and the neighborhood was quaint. A little gritty urban in some nearby spots, but not at all off-putting. There were tons of cute, North-Carolina-style bungalows and a funky, artsy vibe. The whole city of Asheville is surrounded and permeated by woods and hills, so we always felt close to nature, as well.

    Suzanne2016-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed at the "Nature Lover's Retreat" for our 1-year anniversary in Asheville. Christina and Hal were great hosts, even though we regretfully didn't get to meet them (we checked out early for breakfast at Tupelo Honey Cafe). The house was immaculate, smelled lovely, and decorated with impressive photography from around the globe. The appliances and bathroom worked marvelously and FAQs were posted conveniently by the door. Christina and Hal responded quickly to out texts and made the experience stress-free. We recommend this place and would stay here again if the opportunity arose!

SparkleBark Farm offers our open air guest cabin to those who want the comfort of a bed while enjoying the same breezes, wild flowers, fireflies, and early morning mist that you'd have while camping. Just a 15 minute drive away from downtown Asheville, NC.
Sparklebark Farm is a small-scale organic farm and homestead. For the past four years Zac and Bea, the owners, have been collaborating with a revolving cast of incredibly talented friends to make this land a model of sustainability, as well as natural and artistic beauty. We grow a ton of vegetables as well as flowers and keep flocks of free range chickens and ducks. Bea is a fine artist who makes beautiful nature-based drawings (check out her (email hidden)), and Zac is a builder and woodworker who has been pouring his heart into beautifying and constructing buildings and infrastructure at Sparklebark. Our vision is to continue to steward and beautify the land through agriculture as well as art, we are so excited to share this little slice of paradise!
Our neighborhood is the nearby mountain range. We live on seven acres of land, and rarely see or hear our neighbors. Sometimes if the wind is blowing the right way, you can hear the laughter of the children who live on the other side of the valley. We enjoy the rural setting but can be at any location in Asheville in under 15 minutes and on the blue ridge parkway or deep in the woods in 20!
  • A really magical experience. True glamping with all the special touches. The weather was beautiful and I had a wonderful nights sleep.

    Heather2018-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend I had an incredible time at Sparkle Bark! Everyone was extraordinarily friendly and accommodating and made staying there so comfortable. We also loved the small aesthetic touches that made everything charming--freshly picked flowers and the drawings in the composting toilet were particular favorites of ours. I am very grateful for the recommendations of what to do and where to eat--all recommendations given to us were excellent. I can't say enough positive things about our stay there and I can't wait to return.

    Christy2015-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • We came up for a weekend getaway and it was absolutely wonderful! The space was so quaint and peaceful. The view and grounds were exactly how we pictured, little farm in the mountains. The night got a little chilly but the heated blankets made it perfect. All the local foods and sights were terrific as well! We loved our little mini vacay and will def be returning for another trip away from the busy life.

    Whitney2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Sparkle Bark is the perfect place for the more adventurous couple looking for some mountain R&R! We stayed here for a weekend wedding and had an incredible time. The bed was extremely comfortable after a long day in the car, the cabin was spotless, the outdoor bathroom/shower was clean and user-friendly, and we loved enjoying our coffee with a view. If we are in town, we will definitely be staying here again!

    Elizabeth2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Sparkle Bark is a refreshing getaway from city life. The cabin is wonderfully made with much attention to detail. It has everything you need for a relaxing weekend (as noted by the other reviewers). Waking up to the sunrise while lying in a comfortable bed, outside, under layers of blankets is a hard feeling to beat. The outdoor shower was the other favorite and is quite awesome. Beatrice was very polite and enjoyable to chat with. Can't wait to come back!

    Kyle2015-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time! Great way to 'glamp', to be outdoorsy, yet have a great bathroom and shower to use. Even on a cold night, the bed was very warm and comfortable. Great way to be adventurous, can't wait to do it again!

    Rachel2016-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Sparklebark was fantastic! We loved the secluded experience and the hosts were fabulous. Zac provided us some excellent recommendations and the cabin was in the perfect location- close to downtown but removed from it all. Everything was clean and all the necessities were available- plus some extras like water and a French press! We also loved the outdoor shower! Thanks for a great stay!

    Rachel2015-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect getaway stop for us on our family wedding weekend. The most beautiful compost toilet house and lovely screened in room for sleeping. Our hosts were very nice and we barely saw them (a good thing for us). I recommend this to folks who are okay with the rustic side of things. Weaverville is a great a nice small town with a great bakery and a couple of good restaurants. Nicely distanced from the Asheville scene but close enough!

  • Great experience made even better by this excellent B&B. The location is perfect, especially for up and coming West Asheville and the River Arts District. The place is cozy, clean, modern and is stocked with everything we needed. There was even a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived! We loved having our coffee on the private covered deck just outside the front door that overlooks the back yard. They said the hot tub will be operational soon, which is going to make this B&B absolutely perfect. Melissa and Dave met us at the property and were super nice and very helpful in answering our questions about the area and provided great suggestions for places to eat/drink and have fun. Otherwise, they allowed us our privacy and reassured us that they live nearby if we needed anything else. Overall, this airbnb experience exceeded expectations. We'll definitely be back.

    Christopher2014-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the Urban Oasis went great. It was really nice to have our own space to relax in (vs. a hotel) and the porch and hot tub were especially appreciated. It's a lovely spot with woods in the back yard, but still very close to some great restaurants and funky shops in West Asheville. David and Melissa were solicitous (without being intrusive) and the notebook they put together with suggestions of restaurants and things to do was very helpful.

    Betsy2015-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Disappointed in our stay. The space wasn't very clean, the upstairs neighbors were up at all hours of the night making noise, and the bed was super uncomfortable.

    Stephen2016-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great location on a quiet dead end street. We took an Uber everywhere. House was easy to find. We had 2 vehicles. Parking was a slight challenge but no issue once we ran into and spoke with the upstairs tenant. School across the street has parking at the end of the week when school is out on Fridays. Accomodations were more than comfortable. Hot tub was nice although could use a water change. Big fridge since we got a few groceries. Checking out was easy. Minimal cleaning needed if you tidy up after yourself. Welcome book had some awesome suggestions! Overall a great stay. Thanks again!

    Kristen2016-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • My communication with David and Melissa from the time I booked the Urban Oasis was wonderful. They were very fast at responding to any questions I had. The place was just described. The perfect week get away that I needed for my birthday in Asheville. I only wish that is was cooler so I could have enjoyed the hot tub. It is in the perfect location to many hot spots and breweries.

    Heather2016-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • David and Melissa's place is exactly as it looks in the pictures: beautiful. We were only able to stay for one night, but the house had everything we could possibly need and was in a very convenient location to getting to downtown Asheville. We really enjoyed the hot tub as well!

    Shara2014-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • The Urban Oasis was an amazing place. Located right in the middle of a very hip West Asheville neighborhood, David and Melissa's property was very clean upon arrival. Clear instructions for obtaining keys, parking, etc were emailed to us in advance and included in the guest book. A nice welcome sign awaited us in the kitchen along with a helpful list of restaurants and things to do included in their guest book. David and Melissa also checked in with me several times during our stay to see if we needed anything and to make sure we were having a good time. The bed was comfy, there is a on site washer and dryer, and the porch/hot tub/backyard combo is a great feature and nice way to relax after a day of exploring. The property is also walking distance to several great breakfast/lunch/dinner spots as well as several great bars. West Asheville is full of fun things to experience so make sure to walk around and get to know the area. We had an exceptional stay and felt very relaxed when we left today. We will definitely keep them in mind during our next trip to Asheville!

Quiet country life in a private community, just minutes from downtown Asheville. We have a small herd of sweet, friendly miniature goats which would love your attention. We often have kids (baby goats) too. Come for the fabulous hiking, the award winning restaurants, and a little goat therapy too.
Contemporary studio apartment, suitable for one person or a couple (one double bed). Living room with flat-screen TV (DVD player and Roku) and wireless internet provided, bedroom area with very comfortable double bed (all linens provided), fully stocked kitchen large dorm size refrigerator and separate small freezer, bathroom with shower. 7 miles or 10 minutes from downtown Asheville in east Asheville. 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and awesome hiking spots. We are situated in a 3-home private eco-community in the mountains right outside the city (Asheville). We have small dairy goats, vegetable gardens and live a quiet sustainable country life with Asheville's nightlife, restaurants, theaters, and fantastic hiking only a short 10 minute drive away. Studio apartment is very private with separate parking and private patio overlooking trees, goats pastures, and cow pastures. We are in the country outside Asheville (but only 7 miles)-- buses don't run out here so it's important to have your own transportation. We don't use cable TV anymore but have endless entertainment on Roku-- we have subscriptions for Netflix and HuluPlus and Amazon Video for both movies and TV shows. We have self-check-in and instant booking available. IMPORTANT: We have a lovely sweet labrador retriever, who is a rambunctious and super friendly 7 year old, and two cats. If you are afraid of dogs or don't like them, you should probably consider something else. Animals are NOT permitted in the studio apartment. Also, the goat area is fenced in with high voltage electric wire to keep predators out. Inside the goats pen, feel free to play with the goats! They are very friendly.
  • Julia's eco-cottage is very comfortable and is in a beautiful spot. It's about 10 minutes from downtown, out in the mountains. Julia is easy-going and friendly, while still giving you your privacy and space. She had some great suggestions for nearby hikes. We took the hike up to a lookout over the valley near her house. It was a great, brisk hike, and our dog could walk off-leash, which was super fun. The studio has a couch, a TV set up with Roku and whatnot (although we never watched it, we were too busy enjoying our surroundings and exploring Asheville), and wi-fi. It has a kitchenette, though we didn't use that either because there are so many incredible restaurants in Asheville, we basically ate our way through the city. The studio is well heated, so we were nice and cozy. We really enjoyed our weekend at Julia's, and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a romantic getaway.

    Caitlin2013-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I had an awesome stay at Julia's studio! It was clean, comfortable and just as described. We especially loved her tiny goats, her hiking recommendations and especially her totally lovable dog, Milo. Julia was also extremely friendly and willing to chat about Asheville. Overall, wonderful stay just about 10 or 15 minutes to downtown. Highly recommended!

    Anna2014-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice space, we were warmly welcomed. Milo the dog, all the goats, and even the wild birds added to the charm of the place.

    Linda2015-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Julia's studio. We stayed for 5 nights and it was perfect for us. Julia has designed the living space in a way that gives her guests plenty of room. It was also very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. A nice little kitchen allowed us to make our own breakfasts in the mornings which was a nice time/money saver. It's a 15 minute drive into downtown and not much farther to West Asheville, where we spent a lot of time, and we never minded the drive back in the evenings. We actually were happy to be able to escape back to her property because it's so peaceful. The goats were cute and her dog, Milo, was always happy to see us. Julia was an excellent host - gave us complete privacy and yet we knew she was there if we needed something. We would definitely stay there again.

  • We had a great time at Julia's. The apartment was conveniently located near the Blue Ridge Parkway, ideal for hiking during the day and exploring nearby towns. The area is quite and peaceful. The private entry allowed us to come and go without disturbing Julia or the neighbors. We will plan to stay here again.

    Guy2015-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful stay! Julia was there to greet us, as was pre arranged. The cottage is immaculate. It is truly a little gem just 10 minutes from downtown. We enjoyed every minute of it .

    leanne2015-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Despite the horrible weather, we had a great time at Julia's cottage! Everything was just as advertised, the space is cozy, comfortable and neat, in a lovely location. There is plenty of bedding and the kitchen is fully stocked. Julia provided us with information for two great hikes. She was always a text away but we didn't need anything- she'd already provided it all! Thanks so much, Julia!!!

    Rebecca2013-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely perfect place for my sister and I to stay! Clean beautiful little studio. We loved where it was located and loved the goats and the dog! Julia was absolutely accommodating and very helpful with information of the area! Would not hesitate to go back.

Built in 2010, Waterfall Cottage provides a romantic, comfortable, rustic retreat space in the woods perched just above a magical flowing mountain stream. Drive only 15 minutes into Asheville, 7 to 10 minutes from hiking, restaurants, and grocery shopping.
Our beloved Waterfall Cottage is perfect for an individual or couple who wish to experience the best of both worlds, the peaceful zen of the woods with two mountain streams which come together on our property as well as being within 15 minutes driving distance to both downtown Asheville and Black Mountain (where you will find great abundance of amazing restaurants, shopping, nightlife and other attractions). The cottage contains a queen size bed. There is also a small living space with a futon plus table/chairs for 2 people, full bathroom (from which you have a view of our small waterfall), and a cozy galley kitchen (for simple food preparation). Your own private back deck also overlooks the water. The cottage is located on one acre of land in the Buckeye Cove Community of Swannanoa (between Asheville and Black Mountain). The "main house", where my husband Jason and I live, sits about 50 feet from Waterfall Cottage. If you like, you may also meander along the woodland path which we created along the perimeter of the property. We are eager to share our little piece of paradise with likehearted souls! NOTE: -To get to Waterfall Cottage, you will drive a half mile on an unpaved road. While there is a small amount of incline in spots and the road is not always in the best of condition, you do not need a special type of car to get to us. I personally drive a small Prius(not an all wheel drive car). The only time when driving in our neighborhood becomes problematic is when we are dealing with significant snow accumulation on the road. -Many guests at Waterfall Cottage are not able to get a signal on their cellphone. Usually driving a short distance out of our cove will restore your cellphone signal. We have Wifi on the property which works reasonably well, however guests' ability to connect to it is not 100% guaranteed. Also provided: -Sheets/Towels -TV with Roku including Netflix -Air conditioning/Heat -Refrigerator -Coffee maker(fresh local coffee and tea provided) -Toaster oven and Microwave oven -Blender -Two electric NuWave brand burners for cooking -Basic cookware/cooking utensils -Flatware service for 4 people, glasses, mugs, etc. -Standard staples such as dishsoap, handsoap, cooking oil, sugar/honey, salt/pepper. Jason and I have been practicing massage therapists in the Asheville area since 2001. For an additional charge, you can also book a single or couples massage with us for during your visit. Massage sessions will take place on-site in Waterfall Cottage. Massage therapy rates are: $75 per 70-minute session ($150 for couples massage) $100 per 90-minute session ($200 for couples massage) (We prefer that massage sessions are scheduled ahead of time before your arrival if possible.)
  • Great gem! The sound of the waterfall gave me the best sleep I've had in months! It was almost painful to leave! We will definitely be back!

    Lauren2014-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful cabin! The description was completely accurate, but I was so impressed by how clean and homey it felt. It was the perfect getaway spot. The hosts were wonderful and gave us all the privacy we wanted. If you're looking for an authentic Asheville Airbnb, this is the place to stay!

    Caroline2015-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Liz and her husband were there to greet me, and graciously took some extra refrigerator items to their home (the cottage one is big enough, but I had some extra early shopping with me for a party the next day). The cottage and surroundings are so peaceful, and I'm grateful I got to experience the beautiful waterfall and creek sounds just outside. The bed was firm and cozy. I would definitely return!

    Grace2015-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • The host, Liz, met us on arrival and showed us the cottage and all its amenities. The listing was even better than the listing with the sound of the running creek right outside the bedroom window, it was a great place to relax. We have stayed here before and will do so again.

    Van2016-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Liz welcomed us as soon as we pulled in. The cottage was perfect, just as pictured as described. There were plenty of supplies for cooking, bathing, and sleeping (as well as information for visitors to the area). It was so very well set up! Nothing was forgotten or overlooked :). The waterfall and babbling brook were such a bonus! Every moment there was peaceful and perfect, and all our needs were met. This place was close and convenient to everything yet wonderfully hidden! The Hostess gave precise, excellent directions to the cottage! Very well done!

    Barbara2015-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at waterfall cottage for the evening. Liz was a great host and had everything ready and in order when we arrived. The cottage would make a great retreat with the creek and waterfall right off the back deck. We loved this cozy cottage and are looking for a reason to come back soon.

    Scott2014-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • The waterfall cottage is the perfect balance between being amongst nature and feeling close to activity. The hosts were very friendly and respectable of privacy. They offered great suggestions for outdoor hiking while providing amenities in the cabin that made it easy to relax in (especially cozy when a storm with spectacular thunder rolled through). As a young couple, it was a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend to others.

    Allene2015-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Liz welcomed us with a smile as soon as we pulled into the driveway. The cabin was as described and more. It was a quiet and peaceful location and I would highly recommend it to family and friends.

THIS LISTING HAS MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION, not what map shows, and not the same address listed. No longer on 50 acres -now in an ever better spot at the EDGE OF ASHEVILLE... close to downtown & all that Asheville has to offer! Handcrafted green built Tiny House on Wheels in a prime location at the edge of town... walkable to restaurants, shops, yoga, a lake, and only an 8min drive to downtown -hard to find anything else like it! Propane fireplace, organic sheets, loft bed, coffee, wi-fi.
Yes, it's a whole house under 100q ft! The new location is in an urban lot next to a main house, yet still feels like it's own private space. The Tiny House itself is an amazing little house with unique touches throughout that make it a true one of a kind you'll just have to see for yourself ... with propane fireplace, full bath, sleeping loft, couch/bed, full kitchen, gas stove, closet, and foldable desk. Lots of attention to detail in this green built house, with handmade cutting board countertops, custom stainless shower walls, a whole house water filter system, organic beds, linens, and beautiful reclaimed wood throughout. *There is NO AC in the house (it does not have the electrical capacity), just plenty of windows and fans to cool the house down. If you need AC then I recommend coming during the cooler parts of the year. Sleeping accommodations (please read): You'll need to climb ladder to access the sleeping loft. It's cozy with a cute tiny window to gaze out at the stars, but it is VERY TINY, beware... just enough space to sleep. It fits 2 people if you're comfortable sharing such a small space. There's also a single bed in the living room, which is set up to be used as a couch during the day. No ladder climbing needed! You do need to be under 5'6" tall to fit in the couch bed though... so when I say accommodate 3 (1 of the guests needs to be under 5'6"). Want to bring a 4th guest? No prob, just bring a sleeping pad and sleeping bag for the floor, there's room for one more... as long as you all get along, remember, it's small space. Toilet: One of the nicest compost toilets on the market... no odor whatsoever, and easy to use. It's really not much different from a standard toilet - there's just no need to flush, and the urine goes into a separate hole. Model: Separett Villa, if you want to look it up for more information. Wake in the morning to organic coffee or tea. I also stock the shelves with basic spices and organic food staples, so make yourself at home and enjoy :)
A wonderful urban neighborhood that feels private and cozy while also really close to Asheville happenings... very close to the main Street of Merrimon Ave and the interstate, so easily accessible to just about everything (by bike, bus, car, or on foot).
  • Great Tiny House to stay in for a couple of days. Has everything you'll need in a tiny space. Especially liked the monkey bars!

    Brian2016-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • We really wanted something private, centrally located, and unique, and Rhodes' tiny house delivered on all fronts. It's really cute, functional, and thoughtfully designed. Won't say that it doesn't feel tiny at times, but it certainly had everything we needed. Check in, communication, etc., were all totally painless.

    Brad2016-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome tiny house in a great location, quite and private but close to downtown. The house is unique and has everything you need and nothing more (which is great)!

  • It’s been somewhat of a dream of mine to stay in a tiny home, and this lived up to my expectations! The attention to detail and overall charisma of the home is amazing!

    Stephen2017-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful tiny house, very cozy, and quite close to many things in the Asheville area. The host has prepared a really great space for basing a stay in Asheville, and thought of many details. I am really glad we stayed and would happily do so again! Recommend a visit!

    Ethan2018-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • If this place is available during your stay in Asheville then DO NOT HESITATE to book it. On an unseasonably chilly night, the fireplace in this tiny house couldn't have been more perfect. The space feels much bigger than it is, and every corner holds another surprise or secret storage space. Parking & check in were an absolute breeze and Rhodes provided plenty of helpful reading info for local attractions. Would 100% stay again

    M.C.2018-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • This tiny home was so cute. I loved the notes and personal touches.

  • Very comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay.

    Chelsea2017-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • My (newly-minted) husband and I stayed here on our way back home to Alabama after celebrating our wedding in Richmond, VA. We (and our dog) stayed here for just one night, but I wish we could have stayed longer. Savannah and Shawn were quick to communicate with us, and everything was clearly laid out in the house manual making arrival and check-in super easy. The location is great.. again, I wish we could have stayed longer to take better advantage of all the restaurants and shops nearby. The only negative is that it was cold and raining last night, so we couldn't enjoy the hot tub. We'll have to come back another time :-)

The "rad pad" is a 600 square foot open, airy, modern nest just two blocks off of funky West Asheville's Haywood Road. Our neighborhood is HIGHLY walkable with tons of restaurants, coffee shops and other goodies just a short walk away! We offer safe and secure off road parking directly above your abode. We'd love to have ya...p.s. we've been "superhosts" every quarter since we made our space available to our lovely guests.
One huge studio with milk stained wood ceiling and large beams, shower with floor to ceiling subway tile, concrete floors throughout, kitchenette with coffee maker, mini fridge and toaster oven (not that you should eat in while you're here, but maybe you need to heat up those left overs?). The bathroom has two specific areas, a shower area with sink and nice table for toiletries and another space with the toilet and another sink, with drawers for clothing or toiletries. The bed is a super comfy queen with down pillows and comforter. We also provide slippers and robes for our guests to feel like the kings and queens you are! Please enjoy the front porch/stoop of your pad and the provided chairs, too!
West is BEST! West Asheville is where most of the artists in this city live, as well as an eclectic mix of other vibrant people. We're a middle class neighborhood with a touch of grit and a whole lot of revival.
  • The space was cozy, comfortable, and a perfect base for exploring Asheville. It was exactly as shown in the listing with a comfortable bed, spacious walk-in shower, a toaster over and coffee maker for a quick breakfast, and reliable wifi. We stayed for a week in January when the weather was cold, and the heater kept us comfortable. Meg was an excellent host with little pieces of advice during our stay, and necessary information while our flight was delayed. If we are in the area again, this will be our go to place to stay.

    Sandy2016-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great airbnb experience in the local area of hip Asheville. The place made our realxing and homely trip to Asheville even better. The decor is minimalistic and house is very comfortable for a couple. The bed and shower is comfortable and the high ceilings feel great. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Asheville.

    Narayanan2016-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • Our all-too-brief stay in Asheville was made incredibly comfortable, relaxed and pleasant by Meg's beautiful space and awesome personality. Her modern, bright and clean apartment was a welcoming respite and a primo location from which to explore west asheville. Would absolutely recommend Meg's urban oasis to anyone passing through the mountains of North Carolina!

    Bridget2015-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Meg, and Alisa, were awesome to deal with and the place is fantastic. We went to almost every place that Meg recommended and they were all super fun. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Asheville. It's an easy 5 minute walk to all the cool bars and restaurants in West Asheville and a 5-10 minute drive downtown. The studio is super open and airy and the bathroom is spacious and modern. I will definitely come back to Asheville, and I will definitely stay here again.

    Kevin2015-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Unfortunately we only got to stay here one night! The hosts were nice and helpful, the place was right around the corner from the middle of West Asheville, and everything was clean and put together in cute studio they have added on to their home! I will DEFINITELY stay here again, and we are unfortunately already missing Asheville so I will be back.

    Savannah2016-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • I can't say enough about the place. The house was well built and beautifully decorated, which added much local charm you'd never find in a hotel. We were also welcomed with a warm note and a small gift. From beginning to end this stay exceeded expectations.

    Ben2015-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Meg was so helpful and friendly. She greeted us immediately and gave us all sorts of inside info into Asheville and it's surroundings. Her enthusiasm about Asheville gets you excited to get out and see everything.

    Sharyn2015-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place! We had such a great stay here while in Asheville. Meg was extremely helpful; she had the space filled with fresh flowers, two pair of matching slippers, and water and wine in the fridge. We loved it. It was a quick 10 minute drive into downtown Asheville. Highly recommended! We will be back

Next to a serine creek, off the Blue Ridge Pkwy, and 5 min. To downtown. This 116 yr old, two story 700 sq ft home has charm like no other. Internet, Roku TV, walk in shower, small fridge, wood stove, microwave, and Blue tooth sound system. The upstairs loft/bedroom has low ceilings. Approximately 6'2"
Gashes Fluss Haus is a 117 year old coach house. The first floor is made of stone.
  • The photos do not do this little cottage justice. Not more than 5-10 minutes from great city spots, but definitely tucked away at the same time, it is perfect for a trip to Asheville. We didn't get to do any hiking off the Blue Ridge Parkway on this trip, but we plan to come back soon to experience that part of the scenic surrounding area.

    Kathleen2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Paul is a very good host. He knew we were staying with our baby so he went out of his way to bring a space heater in case it got to cold for the baby. I highly recommend staying here. It is a great value too. He could be charging a lot more for his place and it still would be a great value. It is a very unique place.

    Joshua2017-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had such an amazing time. This is a perfect little cottage to spend a few days in. We started our honeymoon here and we wouldn't have changed a thing. The bed is super comfy, the shower is large and feels great, and the downstairs kitchenette and living area are cool and comfortable. It was the perfect place to stay when visiting Asheville. Close enough to the city to drive in and out, but far enough away to get away from the noise. Wonderful place to be!

    Elise2017-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I could not say enough wonderful things about this airbnb or our stay. Paul was incredibly warm and kind and was extremely quick to respond to messages. He gave us a quick and easy tutorial on using the wood burning stove (which was amazing by the way!!) and even let us meet one of his super cute puppies! The home itself was so adorable and unique and truly the cutest and coziest place we've stayed in thus far. The bed was so comfortable and warm and we slept like rocks after a rough night of camping the night before! Just an incredibly unique and cool experience overall and we cannot wait to go back when we get back up to Asheville! Thank you for everything Paul, it was perfect and your hospitality was so greatly appreciated!!

    Annie2018-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • This is a quaint place to stay. Close but not too close to Asheville. There’s lots to do and very easy access. You’ll truly enjoy your stay at Paul’s place.

    Donna2017-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • This place was simply incredible. From first glance it gave us much more than expected. Paul was a spectacular host. He gave us all of the info we could want, even a detailed tutorial on how to work the wood fired stove on a chilly night. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique getaway!

    Evan2018-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • First off, an A+ location. Right near everything but also just far enough to feel away from it all. The little cottage is beautiful. Feels very cozy especially when the fire is going, which Paul shows you how to build upon arrival. Paul is super friendly and a great guy and answers quickly if you have any questions or issues. The home is clean and the stone floor in the shower is my favorite! We definitely plan on returning to stay here again. Would reccomend this place 100%.

We were chosen by a senior AirBnB staff to be the place they stayed at. "The two of you are the definition of what it means to be a remarkable AirBnB host. The care you put into the host-guest relationship is noticed and truly appreciated." Another recent guest said "“You guys were amazing, by far the best AirBnB stay I have ever had! Out of the numerous stays I have had through AirBnB, this was my best trip by far." Spacious, very private, peaceful and lovely, this one-bedroom apartment is on the lower level of a 2013 built, three-story, local notable artist’s home. Amongst other amenities, it has filtered water, a mini-fridge, small microwave, and coffee maker. There is not a stove/oven. Situated in a quiet, historic Asheville neighborhood – Kenilworth - there is lots of natural light through windows that face the woods. Enter through your own private entrance and enjoy your own deck overlooking the lush woods for three seasons, or a mountain view when the leaves are down. You hear the sounds of Asheville in the woods, everything from the train toot, to the plentiful birds, to the foxes in the neighborhood. This special hide-away is centrally located & 5-10 minutes to just about all of Asheville's major destinations, including Downtown, Biltmore Estate, Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore Village, and River Arts District. The space is more then enough for two people and Lynn and Jake are very accommodating. The bed is very comfortable and towels are really soft! Thanks again for the hospitality! We hope to stay again in the future! Jenna and Jeremy

    Carol2015-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • This place was perfect for a relaxing weekend. Location was excellent, close to downtown, but easy to get to hiking and vineyards. The space made us feel instantly comfortable. Jake's restaurant and activity recommendations were spot on. Really, a wonderful place with wonderful people.

    Katie2016-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Jake and Lynn were wonderful host! He gave lots of recommendations for places to eat and they were all yummy! Their house is in the perfect location- close to town but you feel like you are way up high in the mountains! We will be back to Asheville for sure, our weekend getaway was ling enough!

    Heather2017-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • Jake and Lynn were great hosts and very friendly! Their space was great and the back deck worth the price of admission alone! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    Kyle & Kayla2016-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Jake and Lynn were very welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived in Asheville. The space worked perfectly for our needs and proved to be centrally located to everything we wanted to do in Asheville.

    Matt2016-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Jake was the best host I have experienced through all of my airbnb stays! Their home was incredibly beautiful and comfortable. He provided wonderful recommendations (especially Bomba!!!). I highly recommend anyone coming to Asheville book this spot.

    Saige2016-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • Jake was an excellent host, he provided great recommendations and the section of the house we stayed in was clean, upscale, and comfortable.

An adorable, romantic, Moroccan influenced getaway close to downtown and walking distance to West Asheville's restaurants and shops. This cottage sanctuary is truly a three-dimensional piece of art, with exquisite architecture and artistic touches. Quiet street and family neighborhood. Queen bed upstairs and single reading/sleeping loft downstairs. Three blocks to Carrier Park, two miles to the River District, and a short stroll to Owl (amazing bakery)
Your own cottage in the heart of East West Asheville. River Arts district is 5 minutes away by car. Unique two-story cottage built by two designers in West (Website hidden by Airbnb) looks and feels like a house you may find in Morocco or Majorca . It's only four years old , but built to look like an old villa. Heating and air conditioning, ceiling fan above bed. 100 % cotton bedding and throws are throughout the house. Walking distance to Haywood Rd. Pizza Mind, Owl Bakery, Hole Donuts, Short Street Cakes, The Apple Orchard Cider house, Walk and my favorite for dinner, The 5 star restaurant The Admiral or more casual Bim Beri Bon. Villagers is across the street from Owl. They carry a unique selection of books on homesteading, fermenting, herbs and gardening along with interesting home goods such as local pottery and cutting boards. Two cats, Rue (gray) and Gingko (black) live on the property and sometimes wander around the cottage door looking for an ear scratch. Chickens also live on the south side of the property. Cats and dogs live in my house- the blue one.
Mostly bungalows, friendly, low key, walk big distance to Haywood Road's restaurants and Carrier Park. The Admiral, Owl Bakery, Villagers ( home goods) and Bim Beri Bon are all above average.
  • We found the Mermaid Cottage to be very clean, hip and unique down to every detail. Camille was warm, inviting, easy to work with when planning our travel. She thought of all the little things.

    Melissa2015-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • camille made everything easy and comfortable. From booking throughout our stay at her lovely cottage we couldn't have asked for more. The description is 100% accurate. The cottage and neighborhood are just really fun.

  • We are returning guests to the Mermaid Cottage. It is a wonderful oasis - Camille is the perfect host. She makes everyone feel welcome. The Mermaid Cottage is absolutely lovely and it welcomes you as soon as you cross the threshold. It is clean, quiet and a perfect place to sit back and relax after a long day of wandering around Asheville. You will not be disappointed with your stay. The Mermaid Cottage is magical !!

  • My husband and I had the most wonderful stay at mermaid cottage. We were walking distance from a great coffee shop, our host was so friendly and accommodating and the cottage itself was so unique and quaint. Definitely recommend!!

  • This is a great space in a great location. Easy access to Asheville's attractions. Well equipped, artfully decorated and wonderfully hosted. Thanks for everything.

  • My mother, sister and I headed to Asheville for a weekend of hiking and hanging out, and Camille's place was the perfect home base for us. Her home is wonderfully and thoughtfully decorated, feels very spacious and comfortable, and is very close to nearby bakeries, restaurants and downtown Asheville. Thanks again Camille for hosting us, we hope to be back!

Close to downtown Asheville (less than 2 miles), Grove Park Inn, Botanical Gardens, and UNCA, you can walk to a meal, movie, & brewery. A quaint retreat--a serene space with high ceilings, natural wood & large windows. It's a small building next to our house in a private, peaceful, and simple setting. Includes a private full bath, wi-fi, meditation space, a desk, a mini-fridge, & coffee maker all in a comfy quiet neighborhood. It's great for couples, solo adventurers, & business travelers.
It's own private building with it's own private full bath. A lockbox and key, allows you to come and go as you wish. It's a quiet and pretty space with lots of windows and wood throughout.
We live in an historic neighborhood, called Norwood Park right on the edge of Grove Park. We are surrounded by tree-lined streets and historic homes. Situated just north of downtown, between Merrimon and Kimberly Avenues. Less than 2 miles from downtown Asheville and less than 1 mile from The Omni Grove Park Inn. Great location, close to everything, while being relaxing and quiet.
  • For our first ever AirB&B experience The Zen Cabin was everything we hoped for... clean, cozy, private and peaceful. It was easy to find and in an awesome location for visiting the greater Asheville area. The specific instructions for the zen cabin (arriving, maintenance, communication, etc) were found and understood with ease. It is obvious our host takes pride in her accommodations and seeks to offer her guests a genuine home away from home. We are relaxed and happily vacationed... thank you Tami!

    Deana2016-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Tami was really welcoming and kind and a great host

    Ben2016-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect size for 1 or 2 people. Fantastic location. Highly recommend

    Kelly2017-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • Tami was a great host who saved my butt after I made the reservation for the wrong month. The cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. If you're tall, (6ft+) you might find the bed to be a little short, but the footboard doesn't run the length, & you can still stretch out. Overall, I would rebook in a heartbeat.

    Theresa2017-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • As noted in other reviews, this really is a great space. It is clean, well maintained, easy check and check out, and as pictured. It is a great space for a full retreat from technology if that is what is desired. For my stay, I wanted to continue a daily yoga and hypnobirthing meditation practice, which I stream from the internet. Unfortunately, I found the wifi limitations (only works by door or at desk) to be insufficient to stream. Internet is coming from the house next door, not the unit itself and this impacted my stay and plans. All else was comfortable and well explained, but it didn't seem accurate to me to list wifi when half of the unit doesn't have it.

    Carrie2017-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • The zen cabin is a beautiful quaint accommodation for anyone's visit to Asheville. We had a great time and the location is perfect for exploring downtown.

    Sasha2017-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at the Zen Cabin. The location cannot be beat. It was minutes from everything! The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable get away. It was cozy yet spacious. I cannot imagine there was a better option for my girlfriend and me. We were the envy of the wedding party. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in Asheville.

    Ryan2016-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • Tami provides provides everything possible for a great stay in Asheville NC. The Zen Cabin is just minutes away from downtown Asheville. The cabin was adorable in every way. I couldn't have enjoyed my time more! Thanks for sharing your little piece of Asheville with us!

This cozy room has a comfortable queen-sized bed, a private bathroom, and your own entrance. Walkable to Downtown and the River Arts District. Very close to the Biltmore Estate and West Asheville. Easy parking. People of Color & white people welcome; LGBTQ & straight friendly. Dogs too, but not on the bed. (Read our pet policy below!)
Simple, clean and comfy w/ queen-sized bed, private bath, good shower, fridge, microwave, coffee-maker, & wireless internet. Breakfast is on your own, but why eat in your room when Foodtopia awaits you? We are LGBTQ and straight friendly. People of Color and white people are welcome. Our home is an urban micro-farm in the making and a land partner in Patchwork Urban Farms. We are an easy walk or bike to the River Arts District (less than 1/2 mile) and Downtown (1/2 mile to Southslope, then another few blocks to Pritchard Park). It's downhill all the way home from downtown :) You can bike to West Asheville (less than 2 miles) or UNCA (about 3 miles). We're also really close to Biltmore Village and the entrance to the Biltmore Estate (less than 2 miles). Pet friendly for dogs with well-behaved humans (**see notes below re: dogs). Dogs count as an EXTRA guest. (So if there are two humans and one dog that's three guests altogether.) We love Asheville & love to help others love it too. We're happy to offer guidance and suggestions or to leave you to have your own experience. Check out our guidebook for this listing. Our place is simple and affordable but with the added bonus of a private bath and private entrance. You will be welcome and comfortable here. (**A note for visitors with dogs: I love dogs. Absolutely love 'em. I don't provide a crate, and your dog cannot be on the bed. Yes, I will know. If your dog has never stayed in a crate before this won't be a good place to get him or her used to it. Try it at home first. I prefer you not leave your dog here while you're gone. They tend to feel stressed in a strange place, hearing strange noises. So please be prepared to take your dog with you when you go out. Asheville is a very dog-friendly town. Lot's of places with outdoor seating and a few that allow dogs inside. When you arrive there will likely be a moment of excitement when your dog meets our dog, Minnie. Expect barking and sniffing. It's a good idea to let your dog have a walk across the street after traveling and the excitement of meeting another dog in a new place. Thanks!)
The South French Broad neighborhood is on the south-west fringes of downtown so it's easy to get most anywhere in Asheville. I love the urban stream right across the street, the proximity to the river and how it's perfectly situated to be a leading area for urban sustainability and urban agriculture.
  • Bobby was a very friendly and excellent host. Had a collection of brochures ready for you of attractions and eating establishments in downtown Asheville, which is located only moments away. Room was comfortable and had a mini fridge with a Brita filter, which I appreciated. Was pleasantly greeted by a very adorable and friendly dog upon entering.

    Jessica2013-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Location was very convenient, 15-minute walk from downtown. Room and bathroom in basement, so a bit moist and buggy. Michelle was very nice and friendly and offered great suggestions for things to do around Asheville.

    Gabrielle2014-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle's place is awesome! She warmly greeted us upon arrival and made sure that we had a fun and comfortable stay. Everything was clean and we loved the decorations :)

    Jessica2016-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great room and Michelle was a great host! We were only in Asheville very briefly but Michelle gave a great breakfast recommendation and had some interesting local knowledge to share!

    Julia2014-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Michelle and Bobby were gracious to visit with me for over an hour upstairs as they made dinner. The basement room gives you the option of total privacy/independence from the owners upstairs if you want it, but talk about friendly people if you feel like getting to know them. Michelle briefed me on my room in a flash and left no question unanswered. I was in and out very quickly, about 12 hours total, but departed delighted. Say hey to their coop of ducks if you get the chance. The urban farm on their property is also worth a look, and Michelle can explain it to the curious. The bed was super cozy. The turbo fan was great for temperature and white noise. The mini fridge with a Brita pitcher and cream for coffee was a special treat! Nice writing desk for work if you've gotta do it. All around, a lovely introduction to the world of Airbnb. I hope it's not the last!

    Ryan2014-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle was a lovely host! Her place is in a great location, walkable to many great places to eat and drink and a quick drive to other parts of town. The room is fairly private and comfy. It was a great base for exploring Asheville.

    Katie2015-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Host was welcoming and even called to ensure we made it in safely. Welcome book was helpful. Plenty of parking. Pre visit follow-up was great with all details were clearly defined. Room and linens were clean. Close to many downtown attractions.

    Rena2015-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle's place was just what we were looking for. We stayed there for a night, and it offered a comfortable bed, clean private bathroom, plenty of privacy, and proximity to downtown. There was even a minifridge to stash leftovers or whatever in the room that we did not use but I greatly appreciated conceptually! It was a super short (~5 minutes or less, $5) Uber ride to a handful of local breweries that are honestly within walking distance if you're up for it. Everything we considered doing (other than hikes) was within 5, 10 minutes max drive from her place. Michelle herself had tons of information and tips about things to do and places to go for how long we were there as well, which helped us find a short little hike perfect for the morning we left. Parking was readily easily available on the street. Overall, great location, offerings and value.

One bedroom, one bath private basement apartment in beautiful mountain home. Private entrance, incredible views and tons of outdoor space including fire pit.
Finished basement apartment. The bedroom has a queen bed, cedar lined closet and vanity closet with sink. There is no window in the bedroom. Some people really like having a very dark bedroom, for others it can be unsettling. Both the kitchen and the bathroom do have windows. The laundry room has washer and dryer that you are welcome to use, along with a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and toaster. This kitchen is not set up for heavy duty cooking (no pots and pans, stove top or oven) but it gets the job done for casual meals or reheating leftovers. Dishes are provided. The bathroom is small but has excellent water pressure. Please note that there is no internet or cell reception indoors, although you can get a clear signal outside. There is a tv with a dvd player and movies, no cable. The house has beautiful views and loads of space to roam. There's an outdoor fire pit that you are more than welcome to use, and hammocks for lounging in the summer. Very private location that feels like you're far out in the woods but you're really only minutes from Asheville and Black Mountain.
The best thing about this neighborhood is that there isn't really one! The house is fairly secluded but still only a short drive to Asheville or Black Mountain. The roads close to my home are very windy, so you may want to add a few minutes to your expected commute if you're not used to mountain roads.
  • Nice, secluded little mini home. Check in was a breeze and Ellie was a great host! Location has phenomenal views. Close to downtown but far enough away to enjoy nature. We saw turkey and deer in Ellie's yard one morning. Be prepared to put your phone down and enjoy your company. We weren't there a whole lot, but when we were there it was comfortable and quaint. Bedroom has no windows so it's super easy to oversleep ☺ would definitely stay again!

    Allison2017-04-04T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed here for our 1 year wedding Anniversary. This is a great place to escape if you're looking to unplug from everything. We enjoyed our stay!

    Taylor2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful property, hidden away in the woods, an easy drive over to Asheville. It was quiet and private. I did not see Ellie but she left very clear and easy instructions as she was flexible in letting us come in late.

    Sophie2016-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Scenic, semi-rural location on the outskirts of Asheville. Cozy, cute basement level accommodations with a kitchenette (microwave & minifridge). No wifi, limited cell service, no TV, which did not end up being an issue for us. Bring a book, board game, puzzle, etc. if you think you might get bored. But with a 15-18 minute drive to downtown Asheville, you should be able to find plenty to do! We had an awesome time!

    Erika2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Ellie has a beautiful home tucked away in the mountains. I appreciated getting away from it all and having the opportunity to enjoy nature in her surrounding property.

    Allison2017-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Overall, we enjoyed our stay. With it, we got a private bathroom, private room, and a full kitchen, so it’s definitely a good value for the cost. You do get complete privacy here. Ellie sent us a couple messages checking up on us, but we never actually met her. It is a little out of the way from downtown Asheville, which can be difficult due to the lack of cell phone service. It was fine and actually kind of fun being unplugged for a couple nights... Just make sure you get all your planning done in advance. This place is very off the grid. We actually saw about 9 wild turkeys on our drive out, which was awesome.

    Elizabeth2017-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Nature lovers search no more :) Amazing location close to all the magnificent roads and hikes. Good time to disconnect and read a book with the sounds of the forest. Very comfortable and spacious.

I designed this cozy, small space for myself and have loved living in it! If you have ever wondered what it's like to live tiny (or smallish) come stay and try it out! It's located behind my personal residence in a sweet little neighborhood minutes from downtown...(Uber is available). The deck overlooks a quiet ravine where the bears travel frequently (not as much in the winter). It's quiet and close to everything! Adults only... Thank you! Airbnb guests only. No visitors, please.
I had this quaint and cozy cabin built by a company specializing in small home design. Their craftsmanship is unparalleled! It is nestled in the trees above a small ravine and sits in the backyard of my house. It is small (400 sq ft) but has the feel of something bigger with high ceilings and an open concept and loft. It is close to downtown, the Biltmore, and Blue Ridge Parkway but feels like a quiet get away. This space is meant for two people and is for adults only. Absolutely no pets, smoking, vaping or parties. Please respect the no pets policy as there are folks highly allergic to even hypoallergenic pets. Thank you! Features: All new designer furniture Brand new queen size bed in the loft Full sized refrigerator Toaster oven, microwave, and hot plate for small meals. Coffee maker with Starbucks House roast coffee Ceramic tile bath with roomy tiled shower Wide plank oak hardwood floors Rosewood dining bar in eat-in kitchen Hide-away fold down writing desk with view of trees and wildlife Real stairs/storage to the loft Tankless water heater so you have limitless hot water Beautiful deck out back to sit and take in the view This Tiny House is for my Airbnb guests only. No visitors please. Come see how special this place is! I love it!
This house is located in a cozy, tree-lined neighborhood 4 miles from downtown. Close enough to anything you want to do but tucked away in its own little patch of woods. Walkable neighborhood to a public library, two playgrounds, one block to the Farmers' Market on Fridays, and two blocks to PennyCup coffee shop (try their frozen Green Tea!) and Creekside Taphouse BBQ...yum!
  • This home is absolutely pristine. Has to be the BEST airbnb in Asheville. The location is perfect - very close to downtown and other attractions. The bed is super comfortable. Karen is very easy to get in touch with- very helpful and considerate. Check-in was very easy, and the amenities of the house exceed expectations. Looking forward to staying here again soon.

    Lena2017-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Karens tiny house was the perfect space for my boyfriend and I during our four day visit to Asheville. Less than 10 minutes to dowtown yet tucked away. We looked forward to returning to our little retreat every night to relax after being out and about during the day. While the description says Tiny, Karens place was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. Karen was a phenomenal host and provided us with a wealth of information about places to go and eat while visiting Asheville. Wish we could have stayed longer! We look forward to returning again.

    Nicole2017-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • Cool space, great host, and exactly as advertised.

    Michael2017-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • This tiny home is perfect! I stayed here for a short getaway with my partner and it was comfortably spacious for the two of us. I loved that the bedroom is accessible with stairs instead of a ladder! The house had everything we needed for our trip and was meticulously clean. The back porch is perfect for sitting in the morning with a cup of coffee overlooking the wooded area behind the house. It's only a short uber ride from all of the fun of downtown Asheville. When we come back to Asheville, we will be staying here again!

    Colleen2018-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • Cool spot to stay in Asheville! It was our first tiny house experience. Very clean and cozy interior, scenic view off the porch, and quiet neighborhood. Karen was great at communicating and even allowed us to check-in early after we had arrived in town earlier than expected. Overall, highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Asheville!

    Samu2018-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Highly recommended

    Meghan2016-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Karen's place was perfect!! Great location to downtown, a 5 minute drive. I thought that there wasn't any way that the property could be as great as the photos, but it was that and then some! We will definitely be back again.

Keyless entry with a door code, so you can check-in without host's help! Full kitchen, queen bed, living area and private outdoor patio - all within a 10 minute walk to the best of West Asheville. Just a 5 min drive to downtown. Basement apt.
Studio apartment in the heart of West Asheville. Private entrance and private space. Walking distance to Sunny Point Cafe, West Asheville Yoga Studio, The Isis, West End Bakery, Westville Pub, The Admiral, the new Biscuit Head, the tailgate farmers' market (on Tuesdays), grocery stores, and much more. 15 minute bike ride and a 5 minute drive to downtown. Even closer to the River Arts district! Full kitchen, bathroom, queen bed with high quality linens, comfortable living area, including a couch and chair, and a private patio. New construction, unique, funky, retro, clean and convenient. I can offer a sleeping pad or air mattress for a 3rd guest. Expect a relaxing environment, comfortable accommodations, mini-split heating/cooling, dehumidifier, knowledgable, friendly, and helpful hosts, a big back yard, and a safe, lovely, and interesting neighborhood. We love Asheville, and we're happy to tell you why and help you find your way around. Or leave you alone. Whatever you prefer. Y ¡hablamos Español! (So does our dog, Fina.) The public bus runs right by our house, so it's easy to hop on if you don't have a car or a bike. Note: The apartment is below our living area, so you may hear footsteps and/or other signs of life above you, despite high-quality soundproofing insulation between the floors. We make every effort to walk softly and protect your peace and quiet.
Walkability is the best feature of my neighborhood. So many fun restaurants, shops, and night spots are within a 10 minute walk of the studio, as well as quiet neighborhood strolls if you prefer. Biscuihead for breakfast and The Admiral for dinner are my two recommendations. If you love to walk, this is your spot! And downtown is just a 5 minute drive. Walkable evening venues include The Isis, The Mothlight, and Westville Pub. Other favorites are Nine Mile, The Universal Joint, Sunny Point, Biscuit Head, Oyster House, and Dobra Tea.
  • My husband and I had a lovely time in Asheville! Kari's home was true to the photos provided and was very clean and orderly. Kari's place is just a few minutes drive to downtown and also walkable to some fun places to eat. This is an ideal place if you have a car and want to stay off the immediate downtown strip. As a note her home provides off street parking which is a plus. We enjoyed calling Kari's studio our home base!

    Katherine & Joe2016-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • We booked Kari's place for some friends of ours. Everything went very smoothly and they had an excellent stay. Very good communication with Kari the entire time. We'll definitely recommend this wonderful home to anyone wanting to visit Asheville!

    Steven2016-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great little place close to Downtown Asheville. Really close to everything, including Buscuit Head which was a really neat breakfast place. The studio was exactly like it was described in the listing and was very cute.

    Danielle2015-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Kari was a fantastic host; she had some great suggestions of what to do in Asheville and made sure we were comfortable. The apartment was gorgeous. very clean, and a 5 min drive to downtown and walking distance from West Asheville shops/dining. I would definitely stay here again!

    Mackenzie2014-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed at Kari's apartment last weekend. We had a wonderful experience in Asheville and with her apartment. It is just as nice as the pictures and has everything you need. The location was perfect, we were able to walk to several restaurants and bars within 10 minutes. I would highly recommend the apartment.

    Sarah2013-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our 9-day stay at Kari's studio. The listing was accurate. Kari was very helpful and accommodating. She would check in routinely to see if we needed anything, fresh towels, linens, etc. and responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had, both before and during our stay. The studio is comfortably furnished, and comes equipped with everything we needed to make fairly simple meals. There is a water pump that makes some noise when enough water is in use, but it was not noticeable after the first night. The backyard that the studio opens out to is absolutely gorgeous and a great place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. The location is very convenient, but do keep in mind it is on a fairly busy street as lots of people use it to travel east-west/west-east in Asheville. There's a grocery store within walking distance, and downtown is probably a 5 minute drive. I highly recommend this property and especially this host!

  • Kari was great! She immediately sent me all the information needed. Kari also had the the studio well stocked with great reading materials on Asheville. The studio was exactly as described and was perfect for our short stay. Wishing the weather had been better so we could have enjoyed coffee on the patio in the beautiful backyard area. Very conveniently located to downtown, shopping, restaurants, galleries.

  • Kari’s place is wonderful! It’s walkable to West Asheville and a short drive to downtown Asheville. The guest house is completely separate with keyless entry. We had a great weekend!

This retreat is close to restaurants, breweries, dining, galleries, cafes, shopping, and downtown nightlife, with a 5 minute drive to the heart of Asheville! The house has great views, and is within 10 minutes of the Blue Ridge Parkway. You’ll love the neighborhood, sunlight, comfort and coziness, and the private location. This retreat is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers needing a quiet place to relax, work, reflect, and play.
I've deliberately kept this space bright, clean, and simple, with basic amenities such as tea and coffee service, a mini fridge and microwave, and dishes. There is no formal kitchen, and no stove or big sink. I also provide basic toiletries in case you forget your own. There ARE curtains on the windows--they were installed after the photos were taken. Games, puzzles, & playing cards are available for non-screen time. Should you need to connect to the internet, wireless is available. Note that there is no television. Please come and go quietly and clean up after yourself.
The house is located in a beautiful historic neighborhood near Beaver Lake, one of Asheville's most scenic places to picnic, run, or walk--and enjoy the bird sanctuary. We are less than 2 miles from the Grove Park Inn, and a mile from UNC-Asheville. More people walk our street than drive it, and you'll catch cyclists, runners, and new parents with strollers enjoying the quiet neighborhood. My neighbors are kind, not to mention the many dogs on leash being walked. Most everyone is friendly, but will respect your space. We are just a couple blocks from Merrimon Avenue, home of multiple grocery stores, shops, restaurants, pharmacies, banks, cafes, and other conveniences.
  • Micah was the most accommodating host and the apartment is in a great location. It's about a $7-10 uber from everything but, it does not feel like you're that close the city. If you're new to the area ask her what to do and where to eat, Micah nailed all her recommendations she gave my wife and I. Thanks Micah, we had a great stay!

    Chris2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • The place was perfectly clean, cute, and though it was fairly minimal, it had everything we needed for our time there. We drank tea, played chess, walked out on the porch to enjoy the view, and used the guides to find some places to go explore. We felt very comfortable and at home. The fire alarm went off one night, but Micah was thoughtful enough to refund us for the trouble, which was extremely appreciated.

  • Micah's apartment was perfect for our 3 day stay in Asheville! The location is private and quiet, while still within walking distance of coffee shops and restaurants, and a short drive to downtown! It was a wonderful place to unplug and relax. The porch was great for coffee in the morning; I learned how to use a French press :) We will be back soon!

    Shane2017-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay in Micah's home! It was very clean and had great touches that made us feel at home. The location was amazing! Her home is in a neighborhood just far enough from town giving you that mountain feel you are looking for when staying in Asheville. We had so much fun in Asheville and having a nice, cozy place to stay in made it even better!

    Sarah2018-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great little mountain get away! Host was excellent and had lots of local suggestions that we loved! Very clean!

    Tabitha2017-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I went here for a one night getaway and it was so peaceful. Five minute drive from downtown and all the breweries. Host didn't interact much but responded immediately when needed. Definitely suggest staying here if you're looking for a nice, quiet night but close to downtown.

    Alison2017-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at Micah's. The space is lovely, and we appreciated the hot tea and coffee that was provided. Micah was very responsive to our questions, and had great communication prior and during our stay. If you happen to visit over a very cold weekend, as we did, I would recommend bringing warm socks or slippers, as the floor was pretty chilly, but otherwise the place was very cozy. It is in a great location, near lots of shops and restaurants, and Micah provided some great recommendations for places to visit.

    Annie2018-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Micah’s place was great - simple yet everything we needed! Awesome natural light with a good view! Very close to many of the breweries and restaurants, we used lyft all weekend with no trouble at all. I would highly recommend staying here :)

Chunns Cove is a world unto itself. We have one neighbor to the north, otherwise all you can see is a trees and flowers depending on the time of year. The cove is human-quiet but bird-noisy! We regularly see creatures that you wouldn't expect and could easily mistake this place in summer for a Costa Rican rain-forest! Ingles, our local grocery store, is 3 minutes SW and Walgreens is 5 minutes SE. Our favorite dinner restaurants are the Admiral in West Asheville and the Bull & Beggar in the River Arts District for which we recommend reservations but you might find a couple of seats around the bar to order a selection of fabulous plates, Wasabi for sushi Downtown and The Copper Crown on Tunnel Road. Lunch time we are partial to Chai Pani's Indian Street Food which i take with no spices and Doc Chey's is ideal on a tight budget, but arrive early or be prepared to wait for a seat.
  • Marc and Fay went out of their way to make us feel so welcomed! We were the first guests to stay in the Steel Suite at Utopia in Chunn's Cove, and felt honored throughout our stay! The Steel Suite and their property were absolutely beautiful. Close attention to detail, in every aspect (from the room, to the amenities, and breakfast), was apparent throughout our whole stay. Marc and Fay were timely, friendly, helpful, and well-organized. You can tell both Marc and Fay genuinely enjoy meeting new people, making everyone feel welcomed and taken care of throughout their stay. If you do plan to stay in the Steel Suite (which is highly recommended) I encourage you to participate in the breakfast provided. Marc and Fay serve their homemade croissants and jams, fruit, and other delicacies plus wonderful coffee, AND the view is AMAZING! You will not be disappointed. Thank you Marc and Fay for your hospitality! We will be back.

    Mary2016-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Marc & Fay take a lot of pride in their home and their hardwork is evident! We are thankful we had the opportunity to meet with them and share ideas from a host-to-host perspective about community development and the culture of Airbnb with homesharing and local economic stimulation. M&F refer their guests to many of the local eateries and we recommended they tell those small businesses who sent them...the city is a fun place to vacation and we will be back. We topped off our already very relaxing weekend...with a final breakfast with our hosts...the group breakfast was by far our favorite part of this stay...we highly recommend Marc & Fay from one Superhost to another! #AirbnbDetroit

If you are looking for a secluded mountain getaway this is not the place but if you looking to be in the heart of downtown festivities then our loft is the perfect place for you. Our loft has local art, full window view of College St., high ceilings, exposed brick. We are right in the center of all of the downtown action. Downtown is lively especially at night where you can enjoy craft cocktails, amazing food and live music.
Luxury 1 bedroom loft located in the heart of downtown Asheville
Downtown Asheville is energetic and we are right in the center of the action! Lots of cool spaces to explore, amazing restaurants and nightlife. We are across the street from Table and Imperial Life, which features a Friday late night Hip Hop Dance party. We are two doors down from the One Stop/Asheville Music Hall which stays open late and features funk, reggae, and rock. Old time, bluegrass, celtic, rock, symphony, African drumming, trad jazz, modern jazz, gypsy, singer-songwriters and eclectic street performers are a stone's throw from here as well. Award winning restaurants including sushi, Indian (north or south), Korean, Italian, BBQ, Southern, vegan, charcuterie, farm-to-table, pizza, Spanish, gluten free, French, Chinese, Ethiopian, Himalayan, bakeries, coffee houses, tea, four chocolateries, twelve breweries (and counting…) and food trucks galore. Art galleries feature openings every weekend in downtown and nearby and keep daytime business hours to explore artists from the area and from afar.
  • The location couldn't be better! Walkable to everything downtown Asheville has to offer. The venue is beautiful! We'll definitely stay again.

    Frank2017-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • The place is exactly as described and is excellent location central to everything you would want downtown. Krista messaged a couple times just to make sure everything was okay, which of course it was. This was my third Airbnb experience and I would say the best so far in terms of the overall apartment, cleanliness, and comfort.

    Marlin2018-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • Krista and Andy's apartment in Asheville was a dream. It was perfectly located downtown, within walking distance to all the wonderful restaurants, galleries and the art museum. They were both communicative and ready to help with any questions I may have had – at the beginning and throughout my stay. The apartment was cozy and the bed was divine! Also really appreciated the washer and dryer. Kitchen was fully equipped with anything you might need – including fresh coffee and a couple of local craft brews in the fridge! I will definitely stay here next time I visit Asheville.

    Jacqueline2016-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • Loved this place. Clean. All kinds of amenities. Accurate description. Walking distance to tons of restaurants and shopping. Loved it!

  • Great loft great location! Wish I couldve stayed longer!! Will definitely be back!

    Samantha2014-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I rented this loft for our honeymoon. This was one of the best decisions we've made together, and so far, including the time we dated and were engaged, we've made at least a thousand decisions together. The loft was very nicely appointed, updated, cozy, and urban, yet rustic. Above all, it was extremely clean, which is a big deal to us. The ceilings are high and the floor plan is expansive, making it a perfect space for a couple of newlyweds and a fat-pawed dog. Probably due to the impressive bank of windows that gives you a very cool vantage point over College St, there is a temperature differential between the bedroom and the living room, but it wasn't a big deal to us since we were able to adjust the thermostat accordingly during the day and night. The kitchen is excellent. We cooked and prepared some basic dishes, but we probably could've thrown down in there a lot more if Asheville didn't have so many amazing restaurants. The couches are very comfortable, the throw keeps cold feet at bay, and as Netflix fans, we really appreciated access to our shows when we were snowed in from our morning hike on Saturday. The coffee, tea, and two bottles of Highland were nice touches. The bathroom was very nice, with plenty of drawers for stashing personal hygiene accoutrements, and an abundance of clean towels and washcloths. And, of course, it's always awesome having a washer and dryer away from home. Unless you just want to rent a cabin 20 miles from Asheville, the location of this property cannot be beat. We were walking distance from almost every brewery, restaurant, store, and venue that we wanted to visit. Exceptions were certain places in West Asheville, like the Admiral or Isis Restaurant and Music Hall, which were only a $10 Uber ride away. The parking pass for the garage a block away was a huge plus, as it gave us the freedom to drive out of Asheville for hikes. You can come and go with the parking pass, and if it does happen to snow during your stay, your car is covered. Krista and Andy were both helpful, attentive, and pleasant hosts. We loved this loft, and we really hope to stay here again on our next visit to Asheville!

  • We had an absolutely lovely stay. The house was just adorable, very clean, lots of detailed instructions- easy in, easy out. The drive into Asheville was quick and it was really nice being right near the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We would definitely stay here again!

  • Beautiful home in the outskirts of Asheville. Close to downtown, yet tucked away in the woods. We loved it!

    Brandon2016-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at the cottage! It was exactly as described in the listing. It was easy to find, as Tim and Muffi provided great directions, and was very clean and comfortable. It's slightly out of town and so is in a quieter neighborhood, but is an easy drive into downtown Asheville, which is just a few minutes away. We were also able to take advantage of several hiking spots nearby, as the cottage is very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's a lovely house and had everything we needed for a relaxing few days in Asheville! We will definitely try to book the cottage again for any future visits to the area!

    Lou2013-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was wonderful, the cottage was just as cute as it looks in the pictures. I loved getting up early and eating breakfast out on the little porch with just the birds and the trees. There are neighbors close by but with the trees it felt like we were way out in the woods. There was plenty of room for all of us - it's great having 2 bathrooms. I loved the skylight in the downstairs bath. The location was great, too. It was an easy drive to Biltmore and we also found a great vegan restaurant in town. Thanks for making our stay comfortable, Jan, Kim and Steven

  • Shawn's house was great - it was huge, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean, and had tons of room, it would be perfect for several families or a larger group.

  • Beautiful house and backyard that was exactly as listed. Shawn was helpful and responded quickly to questions. Would definitely stay there again!

    Stacey2016-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Shawn let us know everything we needed quickly. The house was in great shape, many items to make us feel at home and we were not missing anything that even we might have forgotten to get. The outdoor living space was very enjoyable. There was all the culture, nightlife, outdoor activities and living comforts we could want.

  • The place is 10 mins from downtown located in the mountains and greenery. It was an extremely nice place with great BBQ area and fireplace outside for a great family experience. Its perfect for large groups (8-12). Highly recommend it.

  • My family stayed one night, all of my family members were pleasant to stay at the place. The place is nice and clean. Rooms were spacious.

    Ruby2017-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • OMG the beds are sooo comfy! Shawn replied quickly to any questions I had and there is no check out instructions (except clean the dishes that were used) so it made checking out pretty easy - just gathered our stuff and took out the trash. The mountain view was AMAZING! Just a tip, the room above the garage (last room in the hallway) gets colder than the other rooms so be prepared. There were other homes around us but we weren't too close to each other so it was still private.

    Zoe2016-11-27T00:00:00Z

Note that hosts do not use hot tub when guests are present. The living room features a comfy couch and other seating, and a 42” smart TV with Netflix, Prime, HBO, Showtime, Starz, Cinemax, Hulu, etc. The huge master bedroom with a king-size bed opens - via a wide doorway (no door - see photos) - to the living room. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking equipment and dinnerware, and includes a dining table for two.
Botany Woods is a beautifully wooded and quiet neighborhood one mile outside the Asheville city limits. The neighborhood is bordered by the Swannanoa River. We are a short drive to parks, attractions, breweries, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and downtown Asheville. Please drive 25 mph or less in our neighborhood, and watch for pedestrians.
  • We had a wonderful time at Miriam's place. The apartment is located in the lower level of their home, in a very quiet neighborhood in Asheville. It's about 10-15 minutes to downtown but it feels like a mountain get away. The apartment was very clean, cute, well equipped and had amazing views of the forest, mountains and a stream down below. We slept very well, the king sized bed was very comfortable and Miriam even bought us bagels with cream cheese, and orange juice as a welcome gift! There were a lot of thoughtful touches throughout the apartment that made our stay feel like home. We loved it here and you will too if you visit!

  • My boyfriend and I stayed here for our 2 year anniversary and loved every minute of it! Miriam and Patrick have the cutest, most cozy apartment we could have asked for! Great people, beautifully decorated, and amazing views! Very close to downtown and Blue Ridge Parkway! We had a great time and will be returning!

    Brittany2017-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Miriam's house was great! The apartment is lovely and very private. Great location close to everything. Beautiful views and very nice neighborhood. i will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Asheville.

  • I can't say enough about how cute and comfortable the apartment is. I wish we could have spent more time there. Great location and the apartment was well stocked with everything needed. Miriam provided bagels, cream cheese and OJ for breakfast. I think they were the best bagels I've every had. We did use the hot tub one night even though we were there during a heat wave! Thank you for your hospitality.

  • We stayed with Miriam and Patrick while we were on our honeymoon is Asheville, and we loved it. Great space with plenty of privacy and awesome hot tub views of the river. They were quick to respond with any questions, and were very gracious. I didn't feel well one day during our stay, and was I'm bed most of the day. The sound of their piano drifted through the floor and helped me rest. Kudos, really lovely place.

    Aaron2018-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay you won't be disappointed!

    Victoria2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was exactly as described. Miriam provided a detailed message before our arrival with everything that we needed to know. The place was spotless and a very comfortable place to stay. The recommendations for things to do where great and helped us make the most of our stay in Asheville. Miriam and Patrick were great about us staying there and were very nice when we stopped by to see them. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great value in a quiet and peaceful setting.

Beautiful custom built space!! Tastefully decorated, first class accommodations on the mountain overlooking Asheville. THOROUGHLY cleaned between each guest, leaving the space feeling fresh and inviting. Exposed rock wall opposite original outside wall; just a couple of the details that give this listing a unique and comfortable feel. Beautiful mountain views above with city lights below. This charming space is a short five minutes and $5 Uber ride from downtown Asheville yet feels worlds away.
Beautiful customized studio with wood slab bathroom vanity and office space, a unique rock wall and original outside wood wall. Creative touches throughout the space. Both charming and classy. Super clean and equipped with a shared laundry room and big bathroom. The kitchenette has everything you could need to feel at home when you're away from home, including a beautiful customized concrete countertop. It is equipped with a small refrigerator, hot plate, toaster oven, microwave and a coffee maker (coffee and creamer also provided). Netflix and Hulu streaming available via Roku and mounted flat screen TV. What else could you need?! :) Plenty of privacy with a separate entrance. Beautiful French doors let in lots of light and allow guests to enjoy the fresh air on nice days. Outside space with table and chairs for guests to relax the day away. Lots of space on this double lot on our small mountain leaves you feeling away from it all even though you're merely minutes from downtown. We are super convenient to grocery stores and tons of restaurants downtown. Suitable for two adults; children are welcome as well although the space is not child proof and I don't have separate sleeping arrangements. This space is one of two rentals on the lower level of my home. Each rental has a private entrance on either side of the house and my entrance is at the front of the house so privacy coming and going is not an issue. If this space does not fulfill your needs please check out my other Airbnb listing :) The apartments share a laundry room space but locked doors keep each space totally private. There is a perfect opportunity here to book both for larger families or couples traveling together. I will send instructions when it gets close to your reservation. Please read them carefully to be sure you choose the correct apartment upon arrival.
I like to think I live on Asheville's best kept secret! It's quiet, has beautiful views and is close to everything. Depending on which way you go down the mountain you are truly not far from wherever you're headed. You can be downtown in minutes to enjoy all the excitement Asheville has to offer and then retire home in the evening for a quiet peaceful night. You also have easy access to 240 to get to your next hike. I wouldn't want to call anywhere else home!
  • Great location that is not to far from downtown Asheville. Perfect for a weekend get away. Dog Friendly!

    Nick2018-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Dorothy's place. Her place is in a ideal location if you want to stay super close to downtown Asheville but feel like you are staying up in the mountains. We will look to stay at her place again on our next visit.

    Mark2018-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent studio apartment! Clean, cute, comfy! Thanks Dorothy!

    Jamie2017-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Dorothy was great and her decorations and recommendations were fantastic!

    Clay2017-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • Dorothy’s home is so cozy and chic. It was a bit challenging to find at first because we were so unfamiliar with the mountain roads, but we quickly became acquainted with the drive to and from her home. Aside from how at home and secluded we felt, this spot was actually super close to the restaurants and nightlife we wanted to experience in asheville, and only cost $6-7 to uber into town. Dorothy’s recommendations were spot on, and I couldn’t think of any changes I’d like to see going back. I’d recommend this spot to anyone and everyone!

    Brittany2018-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • The little studio was exactly what we needed for our quick trip to Asheville with our dog. Dorothy was kind, helpful, and responded very quickly to our questions. We look forward to visiting Asheville again soon:)

    Summer2017-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great, secret little cottage with everything I needed. The chihuahuas loved it, the views were amazing. Very friendly service. Many thanks.

  • Dorothy's place was fantastic! Clean and in a great location. She even offered great vegan shampoo and conditioner. We highly recommend.

Sweet, serene studio w private entry, big arched windows and deck. Located in a friendly, mellow neighborhood in west Asheville, walking distance to funky shops and restaurants.
Private entry to your own space, featuring comfortable queen bed, bathroom with shower, beautiful arched windows with blackout shades, sitting area with coffee, large ceiling fan, air conditioning. Attached to our home but private. Access to sitting area on deck, gardens and parking. Bed and bathroom both new in spring 2017 ;)
We live on 1/3 acre with large oak trees in a beautiful neighborhood. There is a park 5 minutes walk away and the West Asheville downtown is less than a mile walk away. Downtown Asheville within 10 min easy drive or uber. Bent Creek, the Arboretum and the Parkway are with 15 minutes for hiking and biking options.
  • Kathie's place is a perfect spot if you are visiting Asheville and want a quiet retreat from the more touristy downtown. The place is exactly like in the pictures and she provided great recommendations for nearby restaurants!

    Anna2017-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Nice location, very clean and quiet. Uber to anywhere and not expensive.

    Paula2017-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful open windows with character! Nice setting in the trees with a convenient location to w Asheville! Great hostess!

    Jennifer2018-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place, lovely hosts! The suite is so comfortable, and I was lucky to get to spend a rainy morning enjoying the lush view. Was only there for a night, but I will absolutely book this for future visits!! Highly recommended!

    Amanda2018-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • Kathie's place was so peacful and cozy! The neighborhood is great and the huge windows let in a lot of nice natural light. We were able to make the pleasant walk to the West Asheville strip in about 20 minutes. Kathie is a lovely person and we really enjoyed staying here!

    Eva2018-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • The space is private, clean, and beautiful. Perfect for waking up with the light (or not b/c of the black out shades!). Walking distance to plenty of W Asheville or a $4 uber if you prefer a ride. The hosting family is very kind. A lot of thought was put into the space, this is 100% better than a hotel!

    Anthony2017-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Kathie’s unit was exactly as described. It was nice to have the open windows. The unit had thoughtful touches, such as coffee, refrigerated cream for coffee, dishes, shampoo & body wash, etc. This was probably one of the cleanest AirBnb’s I’ve ever stayed in and the bed was really comfortable. Overall I would definitely recommend!

A lovely 1 bed/1 full bath in W Asheville east walkable to many restaurants, cider house, and brewery. This is a chemical free apt where i don't use harsh chemicals in cleaning or in laundry. Serene location, yet close to it all. There are some essential oils used in products.
A beautifully done private one bedroom with QUEEN bed, one full bath with stained concrete flooring, 9 foot high ceilings, non-VOC paint, PVC free shower curtain, all natural Jute throw rugs (no chemical carpets!). The one bedroom can be closed for privacy from the living room/kitchen. NOTE: While I do not use chemicals in cleaning etc, if you have MCS, please contact me prior to instant booking. I cannot guarantee that you will be ok here. I've had a one MCS person stay here frequently just fine and one other who could not stay. There is also a cat that lives upstairs with me and we do share the air via AC/heat vents. There are also two very sweet semi-feral kitties that live in the garage. Please do not book if you have an extreme allergy to cats as I cannot guarantee if you'll react or not. Fully equipped kitchen (with an added microwave now) with stainless steel ware (no telfon!), pots/pans/drinking glasses/mugs organic cream, olive oil/balsamic/sea salt/pepper and a few things in fridge welcome to all. NOTE: fridge in pic has been changed to a smaller dorm sized one (with some freezer space). It has a stove, dishwasher and small mini fridge with a good sized freezer. The couch and chair are a white cotton chenille from Pottery Barn (so not synthetic). There is also an Austin Air filter (one of the best kinds) in the space and gives the added benefit of white noise if you need. (but it is very quiet here as it is). You have access to laundry (washer and dryer) in the garage which is just off your apt. There is a brand new 32" flat screen smart TV with Netflix to stream from and other kind of channels on smart TV (not cable or antennae). (note: the TV in the picture was damaged and replaced with a new 32"). In addition to the sheets and pillow cases, I also wash the duvet cover after each guests (this is so important to me when traveling) and you get (of course) many fresh towels under the sink. Most everything you need is here - including papertowels, tooth floss, cotton balls, Q tips, pens, paper etc. Extra blankets in the foot stool. I am chemically sensitive and have a hard time when I travel due to fragrance and toxic chemicals used in cleaning products and am happy to offer this to those like me (or anyone for that matter!). It is a strict rule that you also are CHEMICAL FREE while staying here. Synthetic chemicals linger for weeks and settle into furniture and this is geared for those who wish for a healthy chemical free environment. I only use green, effective, and non-toxic products in laundry, cleaning, bath and kitchen. Essential oils are ok and some of the products I offer have essential oils in them - for totally scent free products, please just request as I have these too. You will also be provided with a selection of shampoos/conditioners and other bodycare items to use - all natural (no harsh chemicals). I also provide 1 gallon of filtered water for your stay to get you started before you can get to the store if you only drink filtered water, granola bars, and organic coffee and tea and a bottle of red. The apt is in the lower half of my house and is a private and complete living space - the stairs that connect are not used - doors stayed locked and shut. I live upstairs and practically tip toe when I walk - so you don't get much if any overhead noise. This is a quiet place with no road noise...only the sounds of birds ! While it's officially a basement apt, it doesn't feel that way as the ceiling are high and you have windows with great sun. The apt is not "underground".
I love this neighborhood due to its country feel, but within walking distance to many things.
  • Comfortable unit nestled in the trees on a small gravel cul-de-sac. Great value. Easy to get to hip West Asheville locations. Never met Susan but she was a great text communicator!

    Pierre2016-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at Susan's apartment. The location feels very remote but was surprisingly close to everything. We didn't have to drive more than 10 minutes to any of the local areas. After pulling up to the apartment and bringing our belongings in, Susan greeted us and provided recommendations for places to eat. The apartment was very clean when we arrived and there were plenty of all natural amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items, even though we didn't use any of it, but the one thing that was not available was a microwave. It was also very convenient to be able to do a small load of laundry with her washer and dryer. Although we didn't spend too much time in the apartment, we had a lovely time spending our nights in watching Netflix. I looked forward to sleeping every night since the bed was SO comfortable! Would highly recommend staying with Susan if you're in the Asheville area.

    Patricia2015-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Susan was a wonderful host. She made us feel very welcome and attended to while respecting our privacy. The place is so beautiful, very clean and comfortable. Also, we loved the location --within walking distance to many great places. The streaming Netflix was fun to have, too. We loved how quiet the area is and absolutely LOVED watching the birds every day :) Would recommend this property to friends and would stay here again !

    Sarah2015-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • Susan provided us with such warm hospitality we can't wait for a return trip! Her "green" home was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We loved being surrounded by the lush woods that surround this home and we felt like we were part of the neighborhood as we walked to the nearby restaurants and pubs. It was a fantastic first Airbnb experience!

    Dawn2015-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this place! Clean, inviting, and more well-lit and spacious than I expected. Susan is the most thoughtful host; the apartment is full of green/natural touches (organic coffee and tea, a nice selection of toiletries) that we really appreciated. Plus it's super-convenient to all of our favorite West Asheville places. I would (and will!) definitely stay here again.

    Liz2015-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed at this place twice and would definitely stay again. Great neighborhood. Cozy home.

    Nancy2017-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I met Susan when we arrived Friday evening. She was very welcoming, and her apartment / finished basement was exactly as described: very neat and clean. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us in the kitchen when we walked in which was a nice surprise. The bed was also a nice surprise since it was so comfortable. The location was perfect. Her home is less than 5 minutes away from the Biltmore Village and about 10 minutes away from the heart of downtown Asheville (driving). We would stay here again for another weekend getaway.

    Todd2015-12-20T00:00:00Z
  • The house was incredible. It was in a great location and very clean. Susan was always easily accessible and did a fantastic job of making sure we had what we needed.

Directly afore the crux decussata, a teasing black granite-topped lattice-work table is dimly-lit by a disciplined candle-light dungeon-inspired steel-chained chandelier. The lavish black carpet spirals downstairs to the other world past 50 Shades of Grey tufted wall-paper to the left and red tufted silk to the right to a blue-lit corridor…. The pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Our driveway accommodates up to 10 cars so you can easily park your car here and take a $9 LYFT or Uber Downtown. Utopia is gifted with abundant breath-taking wildlife such as black bears, bobcats, wild turkeys, groundhogs and rabbits amongst a few so please drive slowly, keep your eyes out for creatures crossing the road (they were here first) and take a look at our impressive collection of videos on UTUBE at CardinalsInn.
Our favorite dinner restaurants are the Admiral in West Asheville and the Bull & Beggar in the River Arts District for which we recommend reservations but you might find a couple of seats around the bar to order a selection of fabulous plates. Lunch time we are partial to Chai Pani's Indian Street Food which i take with no spices and Doc Chey's is ideal on a tight budget but arrive early or be prepared to wait for a seat.
  • The "Safari" airstream was a truly unique experience and Fay and Marc were the prefect hosts! They were very welcoming and fun, and made us feel at home. The "silver sausage" as Fay loving nicknamed the airstream was very clean, comfortable and organized and boasts a beautiful view of the NC mountains. I'd love to visit them again on my next trip to Asheville!

    Tina2014-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • Marc and Fay made us feel welcomed from the first minute we arrived. Fay was thorough in explaining the various features of the Airstream as well as the hot tub. The Airstream was immaculate and breakfast was yum! We had a fantastic visit. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

    Thomas2016-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful time staying in the airstream with Marc and Fay! They are pros - they are super organized, the airstream was super clean, fresh and tidy, and they even gave me a tour of it and told me how to use stuff when I got there. On top of it all, they gave us a box of chocolates that Marc had made - amazing top-notch chocolates - like cayenne, caramel, fun stuff like that! In the morning, Marc made fresh croissants and we socialized with the other guests. At the end of the trip, Fay gave us lovely little travel jewelry boxes that she made. I would totally recommend staying with them - either in the airstream or their home. there's a hot tub, too! And beautiful views of the mountains. Thanks for a great relaxing stay!

    Molly2015-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first experience with Airbnb and Marc & Fay were the perfect hosts! The accommodations were wonderful and super clean and perfectly located far enough from the city for awesome mountain views but close enough to take advantage of what Asheville has to offer! The homemade jams, ratatouille, fresh croissants and chocolates were delicious. We would highly recommend a stay with Marc & Fay ! They make you feel like you are part of their family.

    Shawn2015-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Seconds after we arrived at Fay & Marc's place, we realized that the pictures posted on airbnb could not even capture how beautiful and peaceful their house was! When we arrived at night, there was a bracing mountain breeze, tranquil nature sounds, and a black bear family (just joking). After coming back from the breweries late at night, we used one of their hottubs. The hottub had a marvelous mountain view and we really enjoyed looking at the sparking stars. I don't believe in "happy places" but if I did that hottub would be it! Staying in the airstreamer/caravan was also quite fun. The high quality airsteamer was very clean and had everything we needed (including towels, chocolate samples & some Asheville magazines). Fay's homemade jams & Marc's chocolate and croissant were all exceptional. Fay & Marc have really good food, music, and decoration taste, which you'll experience if you visit. We really enjoyed the breakfast ceremony: we had very engaging conversations with our welcoming hosts and their friends who came to have some coffee conversations! We would certainly go back to Fay & Marc's during our next trip to Asheville.

    Selin2015-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • Super clean, amazingly decorated, very secure, super private and easily accessed via communication with the host.

    Dominic2018-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • We loved The Master @ Utopia. Wife and I were traveling to Asheville for our anniversary and this spot was perfect. Short Lyft ride to downtown area but at the same time was wonderful waking up to the sound of the birds outside the many windows in the giant upstairs suite - as usual we ate and drank far too much in Asheville but enjoyed every minute of it. In our down time the pool (and the duck) were very relaxing. It's hot in the hot tub, gonna make you sweat. Hosts were wonderful to talk to. It was obvious they took great pride in their property and wanted their guests to thoroughly enjoy their stay. Communal living may not be for everyone but we enjoyed meeting new people and watching people attempt to ride the inflatabull. Would definitely stay at Utopia again.

    Joe2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • This room was absolutely amazing!!! Even better than we had hoped. Super clean and a huge space with an incredible bathroom. The pictures do not do it justice. Marc and Fay did an incredible job decorating and making this a wonderful trip for us. We will be back!

Bathroom The bathroom is just off the "hallway". It is very spacious and has brand new everything. It is a modern and bright space with a window well that adds natural light. The bathtub is great for a soak and there is a showerhead as well. The space is finished in ceramic tile. Bedroom The bedroom has a brand new plush queen bed with upholstered headboard. There is a dresser and hanging rack for clothes storage, and the comfiest leather chair you've ever lounged in. Again, this space is very large and has plenty of room for stretching out. A large window adds lots of natural light. Heat/Air Conditioning The space is heated and conditioned with 2 mini splits. One located in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. These are operated with remote controls and heat/cool the entire space very well. An electric radiator is available for use in winter if you so desire. I find it's nice to have in the bathroom. The Yard The access door to the apartment opens up to the large side yard that has a huge oak tree and poplar tree and lots of sunlight. You're welcome to hang out there if you like.
Our neighborhood is a great place full of friendly folks. We have lots of great neighbors that we know. The neighborhood embodies all the diversity that Asheville offers and is very mixed racially and economically. We are located on top of a large hill and can see the I26 bridge over the French Broad, downtown, and the mountains in the distance from our yard. We are a short walk to AB Tech Community College and Mission Hospital.
  • Our stay was excellent!! Emily was incredibly helpful and the space was wonderful. Absolutely loved all of the personal and thoughtful touches. The location was great too; walking distance to the cute artsy district and downtown. I would recommend the apartment to anyone headed to Asheville!

  • Beautiful place to stay with cork floors, new amenities, and great artwork - some made by Emily's partner! Emily was a super host. I loved that there was coffee available for our use! Place is centrally located and a short drive to downtown and the River District. We loved our stay.

  • Comfortable, trendy basement apartment. Overall quiet-with usual sounds of family upstairs. Access to door, through the yard bit tricky after dark. Very comfortable and cozy space.

Susan was a wonderful host. Helpful and friendly but also gave me the space I needed to focus on some major writing projects and just relax. The space was absolutely perfect for what I wanted. Very warm and welcoming. I didn't have a car but found it fine to walk most places I wanted to go or take Uber downtown. Neighborhood has pretty homes and out on main drag there are restaurants, shops, yoga studio, hair salon, bakery. I highly recommend Susan's beautiful home.

Rita was extremely pleasant to correspond with through email, but unfortunately she was out of town the weekend we stayed. However, Jeff was there to host us and he was amazing! Their home is peaceful and calm, the scones were delicious, the bed was comfy, the hottub was amazing and the location made us feel like locals. It was a short walk to downtown and even a free Shakespeare in the park. We loved talking with Jeff so much, however, that we would come back just to visit him. We could have stayed at the house our whole trip and never even seen Asheville. We will definitely be back and have already recommended them to a few friends!

Shari and Spencer were so welcoming and made us feel right at home in their adorable space! The thoughtful touches like coffee, milk and wine in the fridge were so appreciated. It was very charming and in a really cute and peaceful neighborhood. The bungalow was just as described. The beds were super cozy and it really was such a lovely space. Also, they made it so easy to check in, be there, everything was very well organized from start to finish.
