We needed a place to stop after leaving Pilensburg park to recharge our batteries before going to Kruger it was the perfect spot. Quiet and relaxing with beautiful view and gardens and birds. Holger upgraded us and we had a beautiful room. We had supper there and it was excellent, breakfast was also really good. It was a reaĺly good value. The place was spotless and very uniquely decorated. Our room had a Rhino theme. Great for one night or to stay longer. thanks Tom

Enjoyed our second stay at Acra Retreat and it now officially feels like our home away from home. The perfect place to stay between Kruger and Johannesburg. We absolutely love Norma, Holger, and their staff. All meals were divine. The views and peace you find at Acra truly restore your soul.

Der Aufenthalt bei Lucinda war super angenehm. Die Gastfreundschaft des Paares war großartig. Wir haben das Frühstück dazugebucht und es nicht bereut. Es war sehr reichhaltig mit vielen unterschiedlichen Früchten, Joghurt, Müsli, Toast und allem, was man für ein richtig gutes Frühstück erwarten würde. Das Airbnb war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Wir waren im Winter da und hatten einen Heizlüfter und eine Heizdecke, die bei der Kälte am Abend echt nötig waren. Als wir ankamen, hatte Lucinda uns schon einen Tisch in einem tollen Restaurant in der Stadt reserviert, wo wir dann jeden Abend diniert haben, da es uns so gut gefallen hat. Wir hatten viele Fragen und alle wurden zu jeder Zeit beantwortet. Das einzige, was vielleicht nicht zu jeder Zeit gut funktioniert hat, war das warme Wasser in der Dusche, aber das hatte mit den Tanks und dem Elektrizitätsproblem der Stadt zu tun. Insgesamt hatten wir einen richtig schönen Aufenthalt und würden immer gerne wiederkommen.

Beautiful decorated and comfortable with boma and braai facilities , cute breakfast cafe for morning coffee and breakfast without needing to rush out to find a place. Recommend 10/10

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Vineyard on the hill. The host is very friendly and kind. The house was always very clean, the cleaners did a good job. The house is very beautiful! It looks exactly like the pictures! The yard is huge and has a lot of amenities at the back. It even has two pools. My only problem was that the oven wasn’t working, other than that this accommodation was amazing. I highly recommend for large groups (there were 14 of us).

Great hosts and a great stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. A big compliment also needs to be paid to Hilda, she is a wonderful human. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable.

Suzanne is a great host. The place is a hidden treasure and offers quite the experience. The staff are also friendly and helpful.

This is a great value spot to stay 5 miles south of the Crocodile entrance to Kruger. Its actually a small very charming and rustic hotel that is owned and operated by Sue and Martyn, two wonderful hosts that are originally from the UK. The place is older, but very well cared for with AC, plenty of hot water, and very decent wifi. I slept wonderfully. Sue can provide meals for you if requested. There are about 8 rooms total and it usually packs up with folks from all over the world. A great chance to meet and visit folks each evening after safari in Kruger. Sue was especially helpful with information about the park, and her hospitality was off the charts. I would without hesitation book again. It exceeded my expectations.

Sehr freundliches Personal und eine wahre Gastfreundschaft! :-) Auch der Ausblick vom Balkon ist traumhaft! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

We had a great stay. The room was better than the pics and the host included nice extra treats for us. The garden is beautiful and the jacuzzi was the highlight for us. Breakfast was a bonus.

We had a lovely stay with Berry, Wendy and the kids. A very secluded lovely set up camp. Small, private a nice dipping pool, rooms are very convenient, great showers. Berry and Wendy are great host and are willing to help you with seriously everything!!!!. A really homy place. They are located in the an area where there is lots of things to do and explore, but also a please where you can just hang around and enjoy the quiteness!!!! For people who like to be active you can walk for hours on there conservancy and you will encounter some wildlife which is great. We will definitye come back if we are ever in the neighbourhood!!!! Thanks again for the lovely stay
