Thank you for the warm hospitality! The place is very comfortable and well organized. The location is great, easy to get around on foot or by public transport. The host is helpful and always available if needed. I definitely recommend it and would love to stay here again!

The host is so nice. He pick up us when we check in late, and prepared fruit, water and juice. We have three person, and we got one more mattress. Room is clean and you can find all thing you need

Nicky was amazing in communicating, especially during such an uncertain time, and really kind in leaving us with tea, milk, showering products, games, and lots of useful information for the area. As we were visiting a friend in Leith, the location was perfect - but also really easy to get into the centre of Edinburgh, or a 40 minute walk or so to Portobello beach. Her daughter checked us in and was very kind and helpful. The flat itself is lovely, a really spacious living room area, comfortable bedrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine. Would definitely recommend, and if we return to Leith would love to come back here again!

Thank you for a comfortable stay in a characterful place where people actually live! You can experience a unique piece of history and see a colony flat from the inside with the original layout and exterior. As a bonus, an actual artisan lives (Paul Isaacs, watercolour artist) in the property which gives it extra authenticity. The location is walkable to the main attractions, Edinburgh Mile etc, without being too close to noisy nightlife. I had a wonderful stay and wish I could have stayed in Edinburgh longer. Staying with chill and accommodating hosts definitely helped me to fall in love with Edinburgh!

loved my stay, incredible hosts so hospitable and welcoming. the room is quite spacious and everything is very clean. the flat is located in a very quiet area and great location close to holyrood park and quick walk to the beach. accessible by public transportation as well. i appreciate all the local recommendations and making me feel at home. i highly recommend this stay!

Mark is a friendly, good-humored host. We communicated effectively before my check-in so that he was home to greet me and show me the amenities, which are all the ones listed on this app. What I liked the most was the bedroom, which had clean bed sheets and a comfortable bed. I had a good night’s sleep every night, as the area is quiet and so is Mark, even as he leaves to work pretty early. Secondly, but just as important, I appreciated that the bus stop is right outside: buses to the city centre stop there very frequently. I wanted a place to come back to easily after a day of visiting the touristy places but also connecting with the beautiful nature in Edinburgh. Overall, I think Mark’s place was the right one for me.

It was a really pleasant stay. It is a beautiful and clean house with two lovely cats. Sophie is really nice and helpful. She even woke up at 6am for us to give a ride to the airport. We will definitely stay in her place if we visit Edinburgh again!

Ishbel is a lovely host. She was very helpful and communicative. Her place had everyrhing we needed and extras. Her dogs are so cute. It was a relaxing place to be away from hectic Edinburg. If you come by train from Edinburg city center, it costs roughly £11 per person. From Kirkcaldy station to her place cost roughly £6 by taxi I'd totally come back :)

Lovely spare room in Leith. Walking distance to plenty of cafes including a lovely coffee kiosk, easy access into Edinburgh via the tram and buses.

Tracey made me feel at home and was a wonderful host from the first message. She made sure I had all the information I needed to make it to her place without any problems. I was welcomed by her with a cup of tea and a nice talk, and by her gorgeous cat with some meows. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Tracey gave me a lot of information about buses and things to do in town and was very helpful and kind. I'm very grateful to her for making my first ever trip to Scotland a great experience.

Eine sehr niedliche Gegend & es war sehr ruhig, sodass wir, wenn wir abends zurück kamen, wirklich etwas entspannen konnten. Die kleine Familie ist super lieb, immer hilfsbereit, sehr aufmerksam, wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt. Der Bus, die Tram oder die Scotrail waren im Umkreis von ca. 700m gut erreichbar, so konnte man das Stadtinnere gut erreichen. Da es schön ruhig ist, ist es ein schöner Ausklang des Tages. Das Zimmer sah auf dem Foto tatsächlich größer aus als es ist, aber das hat uns letztendlich überhaupt nicht gestört. Sie waren alle sehr freundlich und lieb, auch wenn wir aufgrund unseres Tätigkeitsaufkommens eher weniger Zeit gemeinsam verbracht haben. Für junge Leute sehr gut geeignet, auch vom Innendesign her. Badezimmer top und schön eingerichtet. Sehr empfehlenswert.

I highly recommend staying at Emanuele's house. He and his girlfriend are incredibly welcoming, and Spark, always greeted me with the warmest welcome. My schedule was quite packed, so I didn’t have much time to spend with them, but whenever I needed advice, they were always enthusiastic and helpful. The house looks exactly like the photos, and the beautiful decorations for Christmas made it feel cozy. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit all the attractions.

I loved staying at Anastasia’s ! The apartment is beautiful and very clean. It was so comfortable. Anastasia and her partner are very friendly and always have good recommendations. They are really lovely. I wish the both of them all the best for the future and would love to see them again. Thanks for a great stay! :)

Dorota was very helpful! I only spent a few hours on new year’s eve and left super early in the morning but I found the room very cosy and warm considering that there was a storm outside! The place was clean as well and the room is fairly spacious and comfortable!

Hôte très accueillant et logement impeccable, avec tout ce qu’il faut à disposition. En bonus, le logement est situé près d’un arrêt de bus, ce qui est très pratique.

Appartement lumineux, calme, confortable avec une belle déco moderne. Bonne literie. Hôte accueillant, prévenant et réactif. Café, thé, boulloire et grille pain à disposition à la cuisine pour le petit-déjeuner. Plein de petites attentions (bouteilles d'eau, biscuits, friandises) et de bon conseil. Je recommande le logement de Mark.

Andy and Georgios’s place is amazingly homie and comfortable. They’re also very communicative, helpful and very accommodating. Edinburgh experience is wholesome because of this. Place also is by the port which you can see beautiful sunsets around the corner.
