The lease agreement is lengthy never had to do that for a 2 day stay and I’m not sure of the rationale. You have to pay and sign before getting the access code to the place. The description does say to ask if you have questions about the agreement before paying and I wish I would have but overall it was not a problem. The description is accurate; must bring your own sheets, bath towels, hand towels, soaps, shampoo, etc. They do provide dishes and silverware. Beach chairs and fire pit are right across the street. Lovedddd staying here in October it felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. I would definitely stay here again!!

Came here for our anniversary getaway. We we liked the listing and we were even more impressed once we got there. He's more of a stay inside person so we didn't do much outside, plus I have thin skin, so cold weather is rough on me sometimes. Inside was great though! It was very homey. I could have stayed there forever. Living room made it easy to lounge and watch the TV. Dining room gave us the perfect amount of space to eat. Kitchen set up was perfect. Same for bathroom and shower space. But, the bedroom... where did that bed come from?! Was it made from clouds?! It was the comfiest bed I have ever slept on! I would definitely rent again! maybe when it's warmer for me though. lol We picked up food from The Rusty Pine. All of the food purchased there was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The pizza from Mio pizza was really good as well. I wouldn't hesitate to eat at either place again.

Enjoyed our second stay here with the kids and the dogs. The dogs loved all the open space and running through the trails exploring the property. Great place to get away for a few days with plenty of privacy.

Everything was great and as expected, clean well organized and felt like another home. The only issue I had was that the chlorine/ cleaning agents in the hot tub was too much to the point that it caused skin irritation and hives for me and my wife. But I wouldn’t say that affected my trip or stay at all.

The pictures do not do this place justice?! It was so spacious for my family and I. Countless things to keep us entertained during our 5 day stay. Definitely my favorite air bnb I've been to in Michigan so far. I travel for work but enjoy having family and friends visit when they can. This place accommodated everyone perfectly.

loved staying here! the private beach was beautiful, amazing, and beyond my expectations. glad we read reviews and decided to bring a couple extra fans to keep the air moving in the cabin on the hot days, and was grateful for the sauna, hot tub and indoor pool on the cooler days. would absolutely stay here again!

This place is exactly what we were looking for- so cozy, clean, private, and perfect amount of amenities for a short new year’s trip! Good distance from skiing in Gaylord and trailheads for winter hikes!

Our family stayed here a few years ago. I knew it was where we wanted to be again. We love being in the middle of nowhere. We love the serenity and the wildlife. Very clean and cozy. We stayed a week and I didn’t want to leave when we did. Can’t wait to visit again!

Pros- Stunning views from the living area to the lake. Plenty of sandy beach front with all the rocks you would ever want in the water. Impressively clean and beds were made like you were at a 5 star resort. Kim has raised the bar for being a host with Airbnb!! Kim is a 5 star host and thought of everything to make our stay like it was our home. Cons- I don’t have anything negative to say regarding the host, the cabin, the cleanliness, and the location. Kim mentioned this is not baby or child proof; the only concern I would have if I brought little ones would be the outside. There are steep steps down to the beach. Every house in this area has just as many steps down from the house to the beach. Plenty of beach area once you are there, just keep in mind if you pick up rocks, you will have to carry those up the steps.

Decided to take my wife and 2 dogs up. was an absolute blast! lots of attractions and places to walk our dogs and get out of our home. What a perfect place to go! It was perfect!

Beautiful cabin! (A little jealous I don't own it!) We were there for an ice fishing weekend, had a great time and the cabin was perfect for relaxing after a long day on the ice. Very cozy!

The heater broke before I checked in, but the host handled it very well. The unit was cute and very well appointed. Thank you.

John’s cabin was perfect for a family snowmobile weekend! Lots of bedroom space and enough seating in the living room for everyone. Large enough driveway for trucks and trailer. We could ride right from the cabin with trails just down the road. Getting to a gas station to fill up was also very easy. There was tons of snow and great trails. In the summer, this would also be a great place for quads or side-by-sides. John was a great host. He was very communicative and helpful.

The cabin was perfect for our stay. Very clean and comfortable. The lake is beautiful. The small fenced back yard was ideal.

We had a great weekend at Kendra's cabin. It was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. It was comfortable and cozy, we didn't want to leave! Thanks again for a great stay. 😁

This house is exactly what we needed. We come from a loud and busy town and just needed calm and quiet and this was exactly it. The location was straight out of a painting, surrounded by the colors of autumn. Even when we were inside we were surrounded by the outside, cozy wood everywhere, gorgeous little fire place, huge windows, it was just perfect. We spent our days running around downtown bay city and our evenings listening to records, making dinner, playing games, and watching Christmas movies. We loved our little quiet getaway here.

This was the perfect landing pad to explore all that port Austin has to offer. Clean, stylish, and just enough space for our crew of 3 adults and 5 kids. Great location to explore this beautiful area. walkable to shops , restaurants, and the beach! Paulette was super accommodating with us and we look forward to visiting again!

Kim’s cabin was perfect and just what we needed for a weekend up north to end the summer. Kids loved the beach and the board games. Sand lake is gorgeous and although the sand is a bit mucky, it’s still probably the best in-land lake I’ve set foot in in Michigan! Nice and shallow for what seemed like 100ft out from shore! Perfect for my 6 and 10 yr old kids. They used the paddle board and we used the kayaks and metal boat. They loved the slide into the lake and even though it was the last weekend of the year and time to take it out of the water, the owners were gracious enough to let our kids use it for most of the day Saturday. Tawas was only a 15 minute drive! Perfect location and great, quiet safe community. We will definitely be back if Kim and Dutch will have us! Thank you so much again!!! Oh the cabin was great as well and has everything you would need! Fire pit and all the tools for smores!

We stayed in this Airbnb for perchville weekend! The driveway was plowed and the entry way was shoveled. It was such a cute place that fit all of us! The kitchen had everything you needed. She had extra sheets, blankets, and towels for all of us. It was so much fun and we had some great memories here

This is such a cozy cabin (brand new it seems, too) and Teresa made us feel right at home! It's so quiet and peaceful at this cabin, with the lake just across the street- a short walk away. The stove was cozy and warm and the fenced in dog run on the back was really convenient! We did experience one small snafu while we were there, but Teresa was quick to respond and accommodate the concern. Thankfully there's enough service (with Verizon anyway) to usually be able to send and receive messages! Fantastic property, we hope to be back!
