Excellent views from our cheerful house by the sea
Our quaint, cosy house in Ferryden offers a wonderful holiday or short break experience for 2-4 people. The views from the house are stunning, ideally located just 15 steps from a small beach, or a short walk to the lighthouse. There's a village pub closeby, a good bus service and only a 20 -30 minute walk to Montrose where you'll find excellent restaurants and pubs, cinema, and a train station. There are so many things to do in the area including walking, fishing, photography, bird watching.

Close to Carnoustie golf course and other local courses, including St Andrews. 10 mins walk to train station (servicing Glasgow, Edinburgh, etc), supermarket, laundry facility, shops, restaurants and bars. On cycle/walking route. Close to Arbroath and Dundee. Dogs welcome for a fee of £40 per pet. *Please note: there is no washing machine or freezer in the cottage.

It has 2 double bedrooms, one of which is a twin and the other set up as king size but can be made into another twin on request. The open plan modern kitchen and sitting room are complete with wood-burning stove and have views of the sea including the Bass Rock and Craigleith Island.

We have just completed new interiors, with 2 bedrooms both with king-sized beds (UK) and soft white sheets throughout. A Nespresso coffee machine, hardwood floors, mini barbecue, and local art on the walls allow you to indulge in a seaside cottage with the feel of a hotel. We have parking on site.

The center of Broughty Ferry with all its amenities is a few minutes walk away as is Broughty Ferry Castle and sandy beach. The Fishermans Pub and the Ship Inn are a minutes walk from the house. Pets are welcome Ideal for Holidays, Visiting Friends, Moving House, Working in area..

Situated in the 'East Neuk' of Fife it is ideally positioned for exploring the local fishing villages. 15 minutes drive takes you to St Andrews Home of Golf. Although we do accept 3 night bookings, our preference is for minimum 5 night stays during peak times (e.g school holidays)
