Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. The cottage offers an open view of the lake and use of a dock (150 yds from house) for fishing, swiming, docking watercraft or watching the sunset. A great retreat for a small family of 4 or 2 couples. Please indicate the number of guests; parties over 4 must be pre-approved. Reservation must be by an adult (age 21+).

A Perfect Country Getaway

Heron Hill 49 is a place for people who want to unplug, get away, and appreciate the quiet of country life. It’s an ideal space to relax or to work without distractions. Fiber optic internet is provided; cell service is limited. (We recommend wi-fi calling.) Guests will enjoy walking the property, following Spring Creek, and exploring the remains of an old, hand-built stone dam in the woods. Birdwatchers will find an abundance of species.
