Nestled alongside one of Ireland’s most iconic landmarks, Doonagore Castle Cottage has been painstakingly renovated by the castle’s owners, merging authentic 300-year-old features with modern amenities, to offer guests a unique vacation experience. Doolin village, famous for its music and culinary delights, is a ten-minute walk away, the dramatic not-to-be-missed cliffs of Moher a short drive, and a spectacular 14th century castle right next door.

Unwind in our pretty, coastal decor 100 year old cottage located two mins drive to Fanore beach and right on a stunning Burren hiking trail. Just a short drive away are the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin village and Aran Island ferries. Our cottage is the perfect bolthole for exploring the unique beauty of the Burren and Co Clare's incredible Wild Atlantic Way.

This is a self contained apartment, tastefully decorated, on the ground floor, with your own private entrance. There is a double bed, kitchen, dining and living room, and bathroom. With your own private patio with panoramic views. The apartment is newly renovated to the highest standard, with gas heating and a solid fuel stove. It was just finished in March 2022, and we are very happy with how it turned out. We have put together a guest food hamper which we hope you will enjoy.
