A 5-minute walk from the shopping centre with a supermarket, pharmacy, boutique shops, pizzeria, fish and chips and cafes. A short stroll away is the Waihopai River Walkway, the beautiful Queens Park is a 10-minute walk away, and 10 minutes drive to the city centre. Please note the 2nd bed is a fold out couch (it is extra) and the guesthouse is beside our garage (so you may hear the garage door).

Situated 10 mins from the township of Winton, central Southland. We have baby lambs skipping around the paddocks lots of fun to watch from the hut deck. All the basics you need, bed, chair, table, kitchen, bathroom and then your own outside eating area and bath on the deck under the veranda. Lumsden is regarded as one of the worlds premier trout fishing destinations with the Oreti River only five minutes walk and only an hours drive to Queenstown or Te Anau which is the gateway to the beautiful Milford Sound.
