The Beach Cottage

The Beach Cottage is a self-catering cottage on a working dairy farm within walking distance to the beach. It is only 10km from the EL airport and a 20 minute drive into EL. The cottage has beautiful views of the sea as well as of cows grazing on green pastures. It has a fully functional kitchen. Tea, coffee, fresh farm milk & rusks are provided on arrival. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. Please note, own transport advisable as we are on a farm.

Our cottages are located within the 12,000ha Fort Governor's Estate just outside Grahamstown. With fantastic views out to the reserve from the privacy of your own deck, you can enjoy a romantic retreat or a relaxed getaway with a group of friends. So sit back, cool off in the pool, dig your toes into the sea sand of our boma, pour a drink and relax around a roaring fire. PLEASE NOTE : Access to all our lodges is via a farm dirt road. We are a working farm so road conditions are variable.

My cozy yet spacious rustic eco-cabin is nestled in a beautiful natural setting with spectacular mountain views and is well positioned to enjoy beautiful morning and afternoon light. It is a perfect place for couples seeking a relaxing and romantic weekend, a family or friendship getaway or a place to work (wifi reception is good and there is a large worktable).

Bramber Cottage is a modern self-catering accommodation set in a tranquil , beautiful park-like garden with mature trees. It is easily accessible by any vehicle. The property is located on a major road and is fully fenced with an electrically operated gate. It is within a walking distance to The Edge, The Eco Shrine and to several beautiful walks. The property is entirely independent from Eskom power supply.
