Moose cabin is handcrafted, build to create a rustic experience. Equipped with a collection of vintage cast iron skillets and a canoe which was built and used in Algonquin Park, Ontario in 1970. The private deck is perfect to entertain after a day hike at the park. Moose cabin, newly built, is located 12 minutes from the Denali National Park Entrance. The cabin neighbors the 49th State Brewery and Three Bears Grocery, easily within walking distance. You will be secluded and surrounded by trees, wildlife and away from the crowded area during your stay here. The Moose cabin also has a fire pit to relax and rejuvenate. It has 2 bedrooms with queen-size beds, and sleep sofa in the living room (sleep 6 adults), blackout curtains, 1 private bathroom, living room with a recliner, a sound system to play your favorite music, dining table with 4 chairs, a fully stocked kitchen, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a dishwasher. DENALI OVERLOOK - A private house located in the woods only 6 miles from Talkeetna town. Enjoy the spectacular private view of Denali and the Alaska range from the house. Even if Denali is hidden in the clouds, you overlook the valley. You can drink morning coffee looking out at Denali. There are not many places that have a view like this. Why stay with the crowds when you can have privacy. Lots of hiking trails right from the house are available. Moose often walk through this area.

This yurt is the perfect basecamp for all your Denali adventures. Please be aware this is a semi-rustic lodging experience blending casual comforts and an authentic Alaskan experience. Don’t you want to say you’ve used an outhouse? The yurt is 15 miles from the entrance of Denali National Park (about 20 minutes). Healy is the “town” north of the park, so there are services, but no public transportation to get around. We own 2 rental yurts in Healy walking distance from each other.

Our cabin is in a private wilderness setting on a beautiful stream. There is a wood-fired sauna for your use and it’s located a mere 50 yards from the cabin. In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.
