From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcomed by my host, Elisabeth. Definitely one of the most warm, kind, and helpful people I’ve met through Airbnb. Elisabeth went above and beyond to make sure my stay was not only comfortable, but memorable. The property itself is tucked away in a peaceful and safe neighbourhood, with a fantastic setting. The large garden is perfect for morning coffee, reading, or just admiring the beauty of Malawi. It truly felt like a home away from home. Everything is within walking distance – cozy restaurants, shops, and bars to have a well earned drink after a long week of work. Despite being so conveniently located, it’s incredibly quiet, and I always felt very secure. If you’re looking for a place that blends hospitality, comfort and authentic Malawian charm, this is it. I’ll definitely be back!

Lovely host, inspiring entrepreneur and a place that felt like home away from home. Definitely a place to lay your head for a night or two but can long stay if you'd like the simple local life living. There's a bar in the area which is nice on weekdays ask about the information from host, I checked in late at night and Joy was helpful thank you.

Host was amazing. very easy to communicate and extremely helpful. She provided information about Lilongwe and Malawi in general. Place is situated in good location. Place suited my need for my overnight stay in Lilongwe. Recommended for budget traveller.

We booked one night at Ethel’s Airbnb before our bus left early in the morning on the next day. She was very helpful and gave us a good taxi contact. At the house everything was there and we had a good rest. The house is a bit outside of town, but that’s good because it’s not too busy. There’s a supermarket and Café and shops just some minutes walk from the house. I would stay there again if I’m in Lilongwe.

this place is really special - beautiful surroundings, private pool, beautifully designed and equipped. Jam was very helpful and available for questions. the location was convenient, but a bit hard for taxis to locate, and data is not always available, so be prepared with analog map and instructions. But once you know you know, and I will be back!

I’ve never had a warmer welcome in an Airbnb! Roland and his wife were so helpful, so responsive and so friendly and they went above and beyond to make what could have been quite a stressful work trip easy, comfortable and relaxing. A lovely place in a quiet neighborhood with everything you could need. I’ll be back!

Jam’s place in an amazing and outstanding spot in Lilongwe. Enjoyed my stay in the spacious, cozy, calm and beautiful Bougainvillea - and the pool area was a plus in the summer heat. The place got my highest recommendation and the host was also communicative and attentive during my stay.

Our stay was great, the place felt at home with a descent yard to relax. WiFi was provided and the place is in a serene neighborhood. The rooms are spacious and everything in the house was functional, I definitely recommend Benson.
