Very nice apartment in a very peaceful area. Two bedrooms with big twin beds and private parking spot. Carmen, who handled the practicalities was very polite and quick to answer our questions. The apartment is far from public transport and grocery stores etc. so you need your own car.

It was wonderful to have this roomy appartment just next to the cows, with a view of the cows from the kitchen and one of the bathrooms. A peaceful place between a canal and a meadow, close to Amsterdam.

Super appartement, l’hôte est très sympathique. C’est propre, bien organisé et rangé. On a passé un très bon séjour avec nos deux enfants. Recommande !

Très bon séjour dans cette maison. Rien à dire, tout était bien. Le mobilier et la literie sont de qualité. L’hôte est très sympathique. À 10min de la gare d’Abcoude en voiture. Train facile à prendre pour rejoindre le centre d’Amsterdam. Je recommande complètement !

We had 3 amazing days in this beautiful and tranquil place. After at busy day in Amsterday it was just lovely to arrive to the green and lucious area of Abcoude - still only 20 minutes away from the city by train. The flat was beautifully decorated, clean and had the comfort of a hotel room. We enjoyed the access to the garden and the friendly dogs. Bianka and Dick were lovely and friendly hosts and gave us good recommendations of the area. The breakfast was super!

Logement propre et très agréable. À 30 minutes d un parking P+R pour prendre le métro et être à Amsterdam rapidement . L environnement de l appartement est magnifique et paisible avec les petites maisons sur l eau . À recommander ++

I stayed for 2 nights with my daughter. The place was close enough to Amsterdam but still in the countryside, which we enjoyed. It was peaceful place in a great location. We drove in the morning to the Metro station (There was plenty of free parking), and in 1/2 hour we were downtown Amsterdam. Happy with my choice. The place was spacious for 2, well equipped, warm, and welcoming.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans le gîte. Très beau gite décoré avec goût et très bien aménagé avec une accessibilité voiture et un parking. Gite situé dans une très jolie ville, accessible à pied et disposant de tous les commerces nécessaires. Gite proche d'Amsterdam (20 minutes pour accéder à un P+R) mais également proche d'Utrecht. Parfait !

Our week end at Mickey’s was very nice. The house is very spacious and peaceful. We loved the big windows and the garden. We also enjoyed some trips to Amsterdam even if it is better to go by car rather than with public transport which are longer. The rooms and bathrooms were perfect (we were a group of 8 friends including 2 couples). Mickey was even available on during the week in case we needed some help or just to answer to our questions. There is a supermarket really close to the house (5 min by walk) which is also really helpful!

wir würden immer wieder diese Unterkunft buchen. Eine Traumhafte Gegend, die einen einlädt einfach nur zu entspannen. In dem Haus haben wir uns sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt und waren so glücklich darüber. Es war wunderschön eingerichtet mit viel Liebe im Detail! Auch Anna und Ihr Mann sind einfach Herzensmenschen die für uns ein offenes Ohr hatten und uns Tipps gegeben haben wie man am Besten an die schönsten Städte/Sehenswürdigkeiten kommt. Vielen lieben Dank für diese wunderschönen Tage, wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder!

We stayed at this stunning house set in the country side in Amsterdam. We were a group of six ladies and just felt right at home. We commuted from Amsterdam to the house via uber which was so easy ! We walked into the local town and around the area with stunning scenery and lots of cafes etc within 2 km. Lots of wildlife to see and the walking was really easy as it was all on the flat. We tried local ice cream too. Next to the house was the most stunning views and cafe that we sat drinking ginger tea, cava and lattes. The food was homemade and wonderful. We wish we could go back ! The house was spacious with large areas for our group to sit and eat together, we enjoyed the garden and the views. Our host was super helpful and responsive. Overall we had an amazing break and cannot fault it !

wir konnten wunderbare ruhige Tage verbringen. Die Anleitungen haben super geklappt für die "Fähre" um zum Haus zu gelangen. Der Kontakt war stets schnell und informativ, wir fühlten uns gut aufgehoben.

Ein wunderschönes Haus am Wasser, das Boot fahren macht sehr viel Spaß. Es war traumhaft und wir hatten zu fünft eine tolle Zeit 🥰

C etait un super sejour chez Demi et Bas. Environnement calme et reposant, facile d acces pour aller a Amsterdam entre la gare d acoube ou le parking de l arena. Wir haben als Familie mit zwei Kindern (14 und 16 Jahre) spontan für vier Nächte die Unterkunft gebucht und hatten sofort einen sehr netten Kontakt zu den Gastgebern. Das Häuschen ist mit einem Boot erreichbar, mit dem wir tolle Ausflüge in schöner Natur bis zum See vorgenommen haben. Es war ein herrliches naturnahes Wohnen mit toller Erholung und viel Spaß auch für die Kids. Sehr zu empfehlen!

We had an amazing stay at Ingrid’s place. She was a fantastic host, even meeting us in person when we arrived (which we really appreciated), and she shared great local tips for food and sights. The bright, clean suite had everything we needed, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've had at an Airbnb. We loved the back garden and sitting by the canal out front. Ingrid provided two bikes, which we used daily—it was an easy 5–8 min ride to the ferry, then less than 5 min across to central Amsterdam. Shops, groceries, and restaurants were also just a short bike ride away, and a metro station was nearby (about a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride). After busy days exploring, it was so nice to return to Ingrid’s home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone wanting to experience both the city and a peaceful local neighborhood. Thanks again Ingrid!

Words cannot express how lovely Joze’s place was! She met us upon arrival and gave us a tour, and we immediately felt right at home! She was extremely helpful and communicative! The home is located in a fantastic quiet neighborhood with walking distance to everything Amsterdam has to offer! The home is filled with Joze’s artwork and it makes for stunning finishing touches! We cannot wait to come back to Amsterdam and hopefully have the opportunity to stay at her place again! We had the BEST time!

Where to begin? The location is devine, it is on the fourth canal so it’s still touristy but feels like a more local experience. It is right across from this gorgeous church and the bells sound lovely. I actually feel like this Airbnb is underrated. Could I give it 6 stars? The pictures of the Airbnb don’t have a good photo of the back courtyard, but it had lovely birds chirping and parrots as well as purple, orange, and red flowers. One night my mom and I had a dinner out there and it was splendid. The location is also almost right across from the Anne Frank Hous and I can’t believe the reviews don’t reflect that because it was so convenient getting to. I’m also an avid runner and the area, although full of pedestrians and bikers, was the perfect runners paradise. There was so much to see and it made me feel like I got to know the city more intimately. The host was also so nice when we first arrived and told us about all the amazing things Amsterdam has to offer!

L'appartamento di Maxime e' molto bello ed attrezzato, in linea con le foto e molto confortevole. Maxime e' stata molto disponibile e ci ha dato molte informazioni su come raggiungere Amsterdam e quali giri fare. La casa e' in posizione molto bella, splendita sicuramente nel periodo estivo. Noi siamo stati nel periodo di Capodanno ed e' stata perfetta come punto di appoggio per poi visitare Amsterdam.l, raggiungibile comodamente in auto in meno di 30 minuti. Molto, molto consigliata.

John’s Airbnb was perfect for our little getaway with our daughter (2 yo). John provided a high chair and crib for her and she had her own little room which she slept very well in. The Airbnb was quiet especially considering its location! The US WiFi is a little weak especially in the bedrooms but the other options is solid. The stairs up to the unit are very steep. We left the stroller by the front door and relied on the elevator (warning it’s small and slow). But overall, it was a really great place and we had an excellent time.
