Step back in time with a stay at our original 60s A-frame amongst the pine trees. When you approach the private driveway, you are instantly transported to a different time and place; a mountain chalet in a European fairytale. Zoli’s A-frame has been lovingly restored and renovated with high-end fittings and fixtures and a glamorous mid-century aesthetic. Stepping through the doors, striking timber beams and rafters of a classic A-frame greet you. Snuggle up in front of the wood fire and enjoy!

We have created a calm, serene country-style cottage with all the trimmings, located on a separate block of land against the backdrop of the bush teeming with local wildlife. You can relax on the porch in the morning or evening watching the golden light make its way across the valley, while enjoying a coffee or wine and seasonal treats from our greenhouse, or larder. Enjoy the Fryers Ridge Nature Reserve with many kilometers of tracks, fantastic for hiking, mountain biking and horse riding.

Sitting comfortably in the landscape overlooking the Gully surrounded by quiet bushland. Hepbird House is a 4 bedroom and 2 bathroom house that sleeps up to 8 with 2 living areas to relax including a wood fireplace. A short stroll to Hepburn Springs for a spa, a meal or afternoon drinks, with the town of Daylesford only a short 5 minutes drive away.

The Hepburn Treehouse - Romantic Retreat

The Old Goldfields Pub

This original stone hotel dates back to the 1860s; it's only lightly renovated but very liveable, full of character and charm, with vintage crockery, a wood heater and a fenced 1/2 acre yard. In a peaceful area, it's a perfect getaway from the rat race. Dogs OK with permission. December 2025 update: the house has been completely repainted and refreshed with a/c, wall heaters etc. ATM not everything has been unpacked but it's very liveable: see further details below.

"The Cowboy Cabin"

My cabin is close to great views, restaurants, and family-friendly activities. It is self contained and sixty metres from main house, set on 3 acres where complete privacy is assured. Suitable for couples, solo adventurers, and is pet friendly. Situated in a small hamlet, the views are out to the Ranges and Hanging Rock. Roosters crow in the mornings, and sheep graze just over the fence. Oil heater and electric blankets keep things snug and cozy through winter.

Fryers Hut

Set in the peaceful bushland of Fryerstown, Fryers hut is only 10 minutes from Castlemaine, 30 minutes from Daylesford and 5 minutes from Vaughan Springs. Excellent walking and mountain bike riding are at your doorstep or just relax at the hut and enjoy the garden, pool and sauna. In the heart of the Goldfields region there is plenty to explore including outdoor activities, the arts, festivals, historical sites and great cafes, restaurants and wineries.
