we are so happy we choose to stay at Villa Celagi for our time in ubud. we would have stayed longer but it was already booked for the days we wanted. which im not surprised because the place, the hosts and the surroundings were absolutely stunning!! The two hosts Niels and Freja (and their daughter Joy) are such lovely people and were very helpful with making our stay extra comfortable. highly recommend staying here!!

This beautiful house was the highlight of our trip, Pariatna is super friendly and took well care of us, even going out of the way to replace a hammock. The two girls were also amazing and helped my mum to do some local shopping. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. Everything has been well thought out with ample storage, plug sockets, and a well equipped kitchen. This place felt like home, if only we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful stay. Natasha was very responsive. We were offered early check in and late check out which we really appreciated! Shout out to our hosts Made, Icha, Wayan and Gede for making our stay so comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous! Loved the 24hr security in the villa. We definitely recommend this place!

Kadek and her husband are wonderful people — incredibly kind, responsive, and caring. They helped us with anything we needed and truly did their best to make our stay enjoyable. We also really liked the villa itself. It’s in a great location — set a bit back from the main road, so it’s quiet, yet still close to shops. The internet at the villa is excellent, and there are plenty of workspaces — it’s clear the villa was designed with remote work in mind. We especially loved the pool on the second floor, which offered stunning sunset views. But a house only feels like home with good hosts, and Kadek and her husband made all the difference. Thank you once again — we’ll remember our stay with you for a long time.

Wow, don’t look any further. This is one of the rare places where you can still experience the real Bali. If you look outside the kitchen or bedroom window, the only thing you see is rice fields, sawa. Mass tourism is far away. With the free scooters you can visit nearby villages and experience the local Balinese living. The resort itself is amazingly beautiful and tranquil. But most of all the staff is the kindest and warmest you will meet. They do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The food in the restaurant is delicious. Wij zijn anderhalve maand geweest met als doel te werken in een rustige, mooie omgeving. Dat is heel goed geslaagd. De villa ligt prachtig, rustig en afgelegen, direct aan het strand en met een heel fijne en mooi onderhouden tuin en zwembad. De wifi was ook uitstekend voor dit doel. Hoewel het huis wat verouderd is en de (keuken)inrichting vrij basic, hebben we ons er goed thuisgevoeld. De bedden zijn goed en er waren nieuwe banken. Er is een grote tv. De staf is vriendelijk en zorgt dagelijks voor de basis schoonmaak en mooie bloemen (Kadek), de tuin (Komang) en nacht security (Riris). Ngurah, de villamanager, spreekt goed engels en is bereikbaar voor vragen en als er onderhoud nodig is (bv stroom en warm water). We konden met hem uitstapjes maken en wekelijks naar Singaraja voor boodschappen in goed ingerichte supermarkten (Artesedana had veel verse producten waardoor we lekker zelf konden koken) en op de markt. Lopend dichtbij warungs (bezorgen ook) en voor kleine boodschappen.

Fantastic place to stay! Booked it for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday and we both loved it. Location was fab, off the main road so not loud and super private. Only 20/30 mins drive from some of the main spots in canggu. Selection of cafes/bars/restaurants/shops nearby (5 mins walk) 7am coffee shop was a personal favourite! Staff were super nice and responsive. Highly recommend, would stay again!
