This place is AMAZING! Gina is the most thoughtful host! She goes out of her way to care for her guests! The home is lovely with so many thoughtful touches! We will be staying here again when we are in Iowa!

The Hen House

Lori’s Hen House lived up to its reviews. It has been THE best Indianola Airbnb we have stayed in over the last 7 years. The house was adorable! The amenities were amazing! Lori had homemade cinnamon rolls and fresh eggs waiting for us when we arrived. The beds were super comfy and the farm grounds were lovely to explore. Lori and her husband were so great to chat with and we LOVED seeing the chickens and petting Boo the goat. I would 100% recommend this Airbnb and plan on coming back to Indianola, just to stay here.

We loved staying at the house. From the gorgeous heart pine floors to the coffee station it was such a pleasant respite. Water pressure great for showers. Convenient half bath downstairs. Internet was perfect. We rode on the Rail explorer. Everyone should do it! Loved the restaurants. We tried barbecue and Mexican. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Alison. You have done a great job making our stay memorable.

The Manor at East Village

Pictures are accurate, the space was clean and well laid out and cozy for our group of 11. We enjoyed hanging out in the dining/living area. Beds, pillows and linens make all the difference and the manor delivered! Kitchen was well stocked and the attention to detail down to the Manuka honey was very much appreciated! Jordan and Abby were great hosts and quick to respond even when we had a very late check in. Definitely recommend the Manor and would stay again with a large group.

Cozy, Private Guest Suite & Backyard Oasis

Although it was short, we loved our stay here and would come back again! A lot of thoughtful touches throughout the space and we loved looking out at the beautiful yard. In the morning, we opened the window and heard so many bird calls and watched some of them visit the bird feeder. We also saw wild turkeys?! Such a peaceful neighborhood and Katy's place was so spacious and inviting. We will definitely look to book here again next time we visit Des Moines!

Peggy was proactive, easy to talk to, and provided you take care of her space she will take care of you. Charming, cozy, and friendly is what I would say comes to mind staying at Casita la Peggy!

Ryan's place was just perfect! My wife and son stayed there for 2 weeks and it was just the place that they needed. So clean, safe and convenient. Also, Ryan was an incredible host. He was a super clear communicator who made the check in process so easy. But the most amazing thing was that when I had an urgent package of some medications arriving that I had sent for my wife, Ryan jumped in the car and drove over ASAP to ensure that we were able to safely get the package, and he delivered it to the door!! He was awesome, would definitely recommend and stay here again! Thanks Ryan!!

Amazing host. Cherish wasn’t at the place with me but was very communicative over the app about who might be coming to the house or staying there. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in DSM. I would stay here again!

The house is just as described, private bedroom, clean, the family is super nice they have the cutest little dog Koby. I stayed with my dog we felt at home. They are super nice. The neighborhood is safe and close to everything walk distance. I would stay again in a blink of an eye!

What an incredible and fun stay! As moms with two young daughters this place was a dream. Anytime we left the girls begged to go back to the Barbie house, they were so delighted with the lights, the ball pit, and the sunglasses that we moms had a chance to enjoy deep conversations. We would definitely come again.

Cozy room in victorian home, quiet pet ok!

Shelli’s place we great! We were just there briefly but immediately felt at home - you can tell the house is well loved! The room was spacious and having the half bath was nice. Also enjoyed the baked goods in the common area and the blueberry wine. Would stay here again passing through town.

I love the Iowa House! I love staying here in the winter,as there are jacuzzi tubs in each room. The bath alone is worth it,and its always clean.

Great place to stay for a campus visit! Walkable to campus and one of the few places you can stay that close. Very clean and quiet and the snacks, beverages, and breakfast were excellent! Cannot recommend more.
