Tiny Home on Center Hill Lake

Our Tiny home sits right on Center Hill Lake at Mine Lick Creek. You can hike, ski, kayak or launch your boat from directly behind the house! Cookeville Boatdock is a short drive away, or a 10 min boat ride will take you to Hurricane Marina…both full service marinas! We are 25 min from I-40 at Baxter exit 280, and Cookeville exit 286. Hike or Kayak up to waterfalls at Burgess Falls, Window Cliff, or any one of the area’s many State Parks! So come out & enjoy a great time with us here on CHL.

* Waterfront cabin overlooking the lake. * Free kayaks: Kayak # 1: double sit-on-top ocean kayak. Kayak #2: single Pescador kayak. * Launch the Kayaks from the bottom of our ridge. * For boats: the boat ramp is 1/4 mile on Riverton Rd. * Wood burning outdoor fireplace on the open deck. Enjoy one of the 3 decks. Inside: * 3 queen beds, 1 bathroom, Central AC and heat, fresh bedding and towels, equipped kitchen. * Excellent WiFi at the cabin but cell service is spotty. Use WiFi calling.

The Owl's Nest will be your next home away from home! Tucked away at the end of a dead-end gravel road, you'll find our perfectly secluded A-frame with all the amenities you'll need for a little R&R. Enjoy an evening with friends/family by the fire pit, or a daytime adventure down to the lake by way of walking trail and take the kayaks out on the water. The cabin is a wonderful place for a family retreat or couples getaway! It is conveniently located 3 minutes from a four lane highway and is less than 15 minutes south of a town that has a population of around 5,000 and 20-30 minutes north of a larger college town of approximately 35,000. The Cabin is nestled by a shallow creek and faces 25 wooded acres that are ideal for hiking and enjoying nature.

The little log cabin that Barnwood Builders helped build! That's right. In 2019 Barnwood Builders, along with another local team, came to Cookeville to help sort the pieces of a 1800's log cabin. Then, we took over and built out this stellar, modern space with elevated furnishings. Your family and friends will never want to leave this relaxing oasis.
