Star Gazers Cabin, a Cherry Springs Property

Cherry Springs State Park dark skies property. If you star gaze, hunt/fish, hike, ATV, snow mobile, golf, or just want to sit back and enjoy wildlife, this is the perfect home for you! The home sits on 5 acres of private property with wrap-around deck & fire pit to look at those beautiful stars, 1.4 miles from the State Park gazing field. For ATV's or snow mobiles, we have ample parking area & many trails very close to the property! Wood stove heat to keep you toasty warm - we provide the wood!

Bear necessities

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. If you are into quiet places this offers just that. Nestled in the mountains. Access to utv/atv trails is right at your fingertips, we also have elk in the area. Clear back yard for star gazing. If fishing is your thing we have kettle creek a great trout stream and the Susquehanna river within a 15 minute drive Local food,bars and some retail stores with in a 15 minute ride. Will need bed linen and drinking water for stay

Whitetail deer, Wild Elk, Black Bear, Porcupine, Rattlesnakes, beaver, raccoon and other critters can be spotted from cabin and surrounding areas if you get lucky. The cabin is located in an area only accessible via dirt roads. It is about 1 mile to the northern boundary of the Tioga State Park; where exploring is wide open and snowmobiling is permitted in winter. If you want a quiet escape this is the place for you!
