A cosy mid-terraced fishermans cottage, now with a wood burner, located only 1 minute walking distance to the gorgeous Shandwick beach. Ideal for a peaceful seaside holiday retreat. Shandwick is one of three small coastal communities that along with Balintore and Hilton that make up the seaboard villages. Logs: we provide a bag of logs for each stay per week.If you require extra logs, I can provide contact details of logs providers locally. Well behaved (not too large) dogs also welcome.

Little Katewell Cottage with Hot Tub

A cute and cosy modernised cottage with hot tub surrounded by fields and with a beautiful river at the bottom of the garden. The house is well situated and has a spacious patio and lawn, enclosed garden with access to walks up the river and other beautiful local areas. A good base to strike out for West Coast and Highlands. We recently added a twin room in addition to our double en-suite and king bedrooms. The Knockie Cottage is a 2-bedroom cottage with bathroom and private access. Enjoy the views of the Highlands (approx 27 miles from Inverness) with its beautiful open countryside and mountains. Just outside you have Loch Knockie that attracts a variety of wildlife and is great for trout fly fishing. Enjoy fishing in the private Loch nan Lann. The Cottage is perfectly situated for explore Loch Ness and enjoy hiking the beautiful hills.
