Massive Sequoias are interspersed with lawn and multiple decks (w/ hot tub!) to enjoy the great outdoors in your own park like setting. Huge 500 sq foot master suite with large private bath, Jacuzzi tub & double shower. Just minutes to State and National Redwood Parks, the beautiful Smith River, and ocean beaches! A travelling nurse may be staying in the guest quarters (about 60' from house).

Elk Beach View, a place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The kitchen is stocked with all you need for your cooking/baking needs along with the tableware to enjoy your creations. The bedrooms are thoughtfully created with comfort in mind. Smart TV’s are mounted in the bedrooms and living room and Internet is high speed. The deck provides indoor and outdoor living space with a hot tub overlooking the trees and providing ocean views. Activities surround the area and the coastal views are included.

We find it hard to leave the deck, but if you like adventures, there's kayaking, fishing, and hiking right out the door! Redwoods, empty beaches, sand dunes, and more within a 20min drive!

Sunset Sanctuary

The day ends differently here. The sun drops toward the Pacific, the light goes copper, then pink, then impossible shades you'll never forget. Sunset Sanctuary sits on a bluff above Preston Island. Gray whales pass during migration—you might catch spouts from the living room. Inside: wood stove, piano, vinyl records, books, games. Beach access one block away. Jedediah Smith redwoods 30 minutes north. Three bedrooms, two sofa beds, one air mattress, two baths, sleeps 12. Pets are welcome.

Located within the redwood forest and 10 minutes away from downtown Crescent City, beaches, and the Smith River, our home sits atop a hill that overlooks the ocean. Connected by a catwalk, there are two separate units. The main house has a master suite, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a family room located downstairs. Upstairs is the kitchen, dining area, bar and a half bath. The guesthouse has a bathroom, bedroom, and living room. Both units have a wrap around deck for amazing sunsets.

This is one of the oldest districts in Crescent City with craftsman style and Victorian houses. Charming. Bring your bikes, we have some great bike paths.
