For Old Times Sake Log Cabin on the Meramec

Our authentic log cabin was built in the early 1930's and has been newly restored. Bedroom #1 has a queen size bed, antique dresser, and a fireplace. The bunkroom has one full bed, one twin bed, and a set of bunk beds. The back porch dining hall seats 12 people and has plenty of room for games and activities (we have several to choose from). There is a TV, cable, and VCR/DVD player (we have some movies too), but no internet...PERFECT! The kitchen is stocked too!

A front porch swing on the Log Cabin invites you to the over 50-foot double deck off the back overlooking the Tall oak tree ridge attached to a 15 X 32' seasonal pool. Jack's Log Cabin is an authentic log cabin built for two. It's located in a rural setting just 5 miles from Steelville. The Upper Meramec River is located one mile past the cabin. At the river you will find an Outfitter for your floating needs and Scotts Ford conservation access. At Scotts Ford you will find a large parking lot and a gravel bar where you can go and relax and enjoy the cool spring, rock bottom river.
