We had a wonderful stay. It was just what we were looking for - well equipped, peaceful, off the beaten path, clean, comfortable, traditional country character with the right modern amenities.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit! Gary & Sue's Häuschen ist eine der besten Unterkünfte, die wir je hatten. Sehr ruhig und abgelegen gelegen, geräumig, sauber und wunderbar ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und konnten gut entspannen, kochen und wandern gehen. Gary und Sue sind sehr freundliche und nette Gastgeber, wie kommen gerne wieder :)

The home is exactly as shown and described. Sissy met us there upon arrival, explained the heating and water heaters to us, there was even milk, coffee and snacks already there. I’ve never stayed at a home so clean! The location is perfect and all of Athlone is walkable from here. I would absolutely stay here on my next visit to Ireland , thank you for everything

Deborah is a helpful and friendly host. Her welcome food pack was very generous and the property is spotlessly clean. I slept extremely well during my stay and would highly recommend this property, which is conveniently located in the pretty town of Boyle

Kathleen is a great host. Polite and responded quickly to any messages. The house is lovely and absolutely spotless. There was tea, coffee, milk and bread for us when we arrived. A lovely touch was the little basket of chocolates. Instructions were clear for checking in and out. Would highly recommend the house and Kathleen as a host.

It’s an ideal location to stay in Castlerea, close to all the local amenities and places of interest. The house is fantastic and fits all our needs and more. We were travelling with my 88 year old father and the single level was perfect. Susan and Paul were perfect hosts. We will return.

Amazing place . Highly recommended. The location and views are awesome. So peaceful and the stars at night were unbelievable. Two horses, with week old fowls, in the field opposite, were entertainment in themselves. The apartment is a home away from home , with beautiful artistic touches. Excellent apartment and perfect location to explore the town. The apartment was very clean and tidy. The internet kept dropping so this may not be a good option if you need to work remotely. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating and my friends and I really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend booking this place as you can park the car and explore as everything is within walking distance.

Wonderful quiet and private self contained appartment close to the centre of Athenry. Within a short walk of everything Athenry has to offer and the train station for a quick connection into Galway city (or to/from Dublin). The apartment is cosy, well equiped and an ideal spot for relaxing. It has everything you need for a short stay and a much better alternative to a hotel or B&B as it has it's own kitchen and sofa etc. Niamh was a very friendly and helpful host and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
