Lovely house in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Andrew was super helpful and very quick to respond to any questions. The house was so private and tranquil, really good space to get away from it all. Would highly recommend.

Check in was very easy with the host being on site allowing us to gain entry as soon as we arrived. House was exactly as described and in immaculate condition with a beautiful outdoor garden and surrounding areas. There was also a little games cupboard that we all made use of as the weather was lovely to be outside (even though we’re all in our 30s/40s we turned into big kids when we found this). Host even went beyond their responsibilities and aided us with travel options and even took members of our group to the wedding location. I have stayed in many AirBnBs as a group and as an individual for both work & leisure and can categorically say this has been the best stay I’ve had through the app. Will look to book this again for a weekend away and without any events so we can enjoy the house to its full worth! Thank you to both John & Jody for being incredible hosts and if you are looking to stay in the area this would be the house to choose!

Justina was a fantastic host, very welcoming and she called in shortly after we arrived to ensure that we knew how everything worked, including the TV. We had everything we could possibly need for a very relaxing stay which was just what we all needed. Even though there were plenty of places to eat out in the evenings nearby, apart from a day trip out to the coast, we chose to eat back at the cottage as it was so easy to buy very good quality local fresh food that suited everyone’s dietary needs was a real added bonus. Sitting out in the early evening overlooking the lake was delightful and relaxing. There was lots of places in the area relating to the local and national history of Ireland which were great to visit and enjoy. Hopefully we will come back to the area to explore even more of them and would definitely book Key Cottage again.

We had an amazing stay at Lakeview Country House! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and even more charming than the photos suggested. Paul and Helen were great hosts — always quick to respond, full of helpful local tips, and they made us feel so welcome with a lovely basket of treats on arrival. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the wood-fired sauna after our walks around Errit Lodge, and the weekend coffee stall was a bonus. We felt rejuvenated after our countryside escape and can't wait to come back!

Carmen & Robert's home is an absolute dream! If you're looking for a peaceful escape to the Irish country side that still has easy access to what Sligo town has to offer, look no further. Not only is the home picturesque with ducks and chickens roaming the property gardens that Robert tends, but the interior of the home is truly a home away from home: comfortable, cozy, and impeccably designed. Carmen and Robert are so kind and friendly. We truly felt so welcome and at home here. Ballymote is an adorable village with a grocery store and cafe, plus easy highway access to get into Sligo within 25 minutes and all the natural wonders of the northwest easily. 10/10 would stay again, thank you so much Carmen & Robert!

The stay was all that we expect and more! The house is fully equipped with all the things one needs and it really feels homely. If you're looking for a nice calm place to wind down and enjoy, this is the spot. Definitely worth a visit!
