This cottage was perfect for me and my work colleague. It would also suit for recreational visits to the area. The host was very quick to respond and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend. ps. thanks for the milk etc

A beautiful homely stay surrounded by lovely countryside. Our son especially enjoyed his morning hello to the cows! The house was really clean with lots of thoughtful touches like the milk in the fridge, jams and biscuits and the honesty box for wine. The bathroom was well stocked and the shower was excellent. Beds were comfy and our son LOVED the bus bed and kids room. We felt very comfortable and settled and wish we could’ve stayed longer. Kathleen was the perfect host - helpful and friendly communication. This is a wonderful place to stay, especially for exploring the local area and Clonmacnoise.

Wir haben zwei Nächte in der Villa Jokubas verbracht – und es war einfach traumhaft. Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig, perfekt zum Abschalten und Auftanken. Umgeben von Natur, Vogelgezwitscher und absoluter Stille fällt das Runterkommen leicht. Unser persönliches Highlight waren ganz klar die Hot Tub und die Sauna – beides wurde für uns vorbereitet und war in absoluter Privatsphäre nutzbar. Die Hütte selbst ist mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet, super sauber und sehr gemütlich. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und konnten jederzeit jemanden erreichen, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Wir wären am liebsten länger geblieben und kommen definitiv wieder. Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die Natur, Ruhe und ein bisschen Wellness-Feeling suchen!

Our stay was fantastic! The place was exactly what we were hoping for — clean, comfortable, and perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. We especially loved the jacuzzi and BBQ area; it made for some great evenings relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. The host was amazing — super friendly, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. They provided clear instructions, and even checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. It really felt like they went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend this Airbnb if you’re looking for a fun, relaxing spot with great amenities and an awesome host!

Pat was so kind and his place is beautiful! It’s was within perfect walking distance to the Greenfields festival that we went to this weekend! It was wonderful being able to walk around the town as well with the Blue Barroway right around the corner! He was also very helpful in offering tips on how to drive around Ireland in the next leg of our journey. Whenever I find myself in Athy again I’ll be back!

Our stay at Yvonne and Peter’s space was the perfect way to end our trip to Ireland!The property is beautiful and quiet and you can tell a lot of thoughts and care is put into the place. We were only disappointed to stay for one night but will be sure to be back when we can. Thank you again Yvonne and Peter for a memorable stay!

Tommy is an excellent host. He was extremely helpful and accommodating, responding quickly when we had a query. The hut is surrounded by nature and we found the place exceptionally peaceful. The hot tub is a great addition. Tommy went above and beyond, and we really hope to come back again.

The place was stunning, the photos almost don’t do it justice. I was with my family of 6 and had plenty of room. The lounge is really spacious with a big TV to put some music on. The place is easy enough to find & only about 10 minutes from the town centre by car (just be careful taxi timings if you’re out late) I was only here for one night so didn’t get to take full advantage of the space. If I come back to Edenderry I’d definitely stay here again! 😀

The place was as described and as shown in the pictures. It was situated a short drive from Portlaoise, but far enough away to be peacefully quiet. Great links to Dublin and surrounding areas. Helen was available upon us getting to the accommodation and was very friendly and welcoming. I cannot fault the stay, it had everything we needed for our family of four. We would definitely considering returning in the future 👍🏻
