Borris is a beautuful village, the air bnb was in a great place. A very big house with everything you needed. we was a little perplexed as to why two of the bedrooms were locked. It is advertised as a 3 bedroom house. My partner snores so would have liked an extra bed so i could get some sleep. The house is very dated, but comfortable enough. double bed was extremely comfortable and bed linen lovely and clean. Kevin and his wife were really nice people and were accommodating to our needs and let us stay an extra night, so we was very thankful. The house is big enough for a family to stay and I would recommend. There is a smell of dampness, but I have stayed in similar Air bnb in Ireland that smell the same. The kitchen has everything you need to cook with, we did find the Air fryer wasn't cleaned, probably after the last guests. dishwasher etc in kitchen ample places to sit and eat. I was overall very happy 😊

La maison de Mary est exceptionnelle, c’est une demeure très bien agencée, avec 3 belles chambres, 2 salles de bains et 3 WC. Mary nous avait laissé un peu de nourriture, nous avons vraiment apprécié ses petites attentions. Merci Mary de votre gentillesse et de cet accueil, nous recommandons chaudement ce logement. Marie’s place was wonderful! We loved our stay at the house and thought the surrounding area with Bailef Castle in the distance and the sheep was very picturesque! We would happily go back.

The house was perfect, we couldn't fault anything. The location is fantastic, the house is big and lots of space, Super clean, beds are really comfortable and the house had everything we needed. Definitely will be back again

Perfect location, we arrived to a loaf of homemade bread, great touch & milk, juice & eggs in the fridge which was really appreciated. Very clean & had everything we needed. Kilkenny has been our favourite place so far.

JJ Place is perfect for a nice get away, ideally located close to Rathdowney, place was cosy, JJ had food in fridge and loads of other bits n bobs to get us started. it was immaculate clean and a lovely stove to keep us warm. full of turf and basket full also.

I'm booking this place on behalf of my dad so I'm not able to personally comment on her place. Marilyn's check in instructions was very clear and according to my dad, she is a friendly host and he enjoyed his stay a lot in the airbnb. Thanks a lot for hosting him!

Pat and Phil were kind and generous hosts. The fridge was stocked with milk, juice and bottled water and there was fresh fruit as well. It was lovely sitting out on the patio soaking up the sunshine and peaceful environment. We also enjoyed having access to washing machines and a dryer - very handy for travellers on the move. The bed was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Pat and Phil’s place.
