Elizabeth's Thatched Cottage is a two hundred year old listed building located in the heart of a working farm on The Wild Atlantic Way. The cottage has three bedrooms, bathroom, sitting room and kitchen with stunning views of the River Shannon. 30 minute drive to Adare Manor and Ballybunion Golf Club, Limerick Greenway and an hour away from Killarney National Park. Tarbert/Killimer ferry to Burren National Park and Cliffs of Moher 5 minutes away. An hours drive from Shannon and Kerry Airports.

Driftwood is located on the Wild Atlantic Way and on the Kerry Walkway. Killarney is 33kms and Dingle is 80 kms. We are 7 kms to the fabulous Dooks Golf Course. Policy: Only the number of persons booked as stated on the booking form are allowed to stay. There is also no smoking or pets allowed.

On arrival the guests will be greeted with freshly baked scones and a welcome basket. Fresh flowers in all the rooms and fires and candles lighting in the winter months. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms: 1 king room and 1 triple room. There is a sofa bed on the landing. The first floor bathroom has a power shower and freestanding bathtub. There is a ground floor toilet just off the small utility in the kitchen.

We like art, design, cooking & gardening & our home reflects this ! We hope you make Garden House your home while you stay! A perfect base for hiking or cycling in the area. The cottage was built in the 1970’s so it is not a new property and the interior reflects the age. The house is not suitable for kids as there is only 1 bed.
