The Annexe, Durham City

This recently converted self contained private detached modern annexe is located within 15 minutes walk of Durham City centre with its world class University and Cathedral and is great for both holiday and business travellers. The Annexe is in the grounds of our larger house occupied by us, situated at the end of a private road near to Durham City centre. The annexe is totally self contained and has its own allocated parking space next to it together with private decked area with Cathedral views

I welcome people who are visiting friends, or working. You will have exclusive use of a beautiful period cottage, which is bright and modern. You will also have a free private parking space next to the cottage, useful as most of Durham is permit holder parking. Fantastic location to experience Durham - under 10 minutes walk to Durham train station and Durham bus station/City centre, which then leads to the cultural and commercial zones, multiple bars and restaurants. Train station is 1 mile away Durham university is 1.6 mile away Durham university hospital is 2 mile away. We welcome dogs but please check them in when booking

100 yr old house, peaceful green nook Durham City

Characterful terraced house, over one hundred years old, on top of a steep hill overlooking the cathedral and castle. 10-15 min walking distance to city centre, bus and railway stations, 5 min walk to supermarket. Free, but limited, on-street parking. This is a unique place. It is very quiet, because we are surrounded by gardens, the school playing field and the woods (the local nature reserve). We have seen deer, foxes, badgers and woodpeckers, but we are actually within Durham City!!
