The ginger house is a perfect place to explore Stirling in between the town center and the Wallace monument. It was cosy and we got to meet our lovely hosts (which now rarely happens with airbnb what with all the keyboxes!). We warmly recommend to anyone who prefers an genuine experience to an impersonal hotel room.

Me and my daughter stayed here for two nights recently, to attend a local wedding. Vicky went beyond what was expected of a host. The dwelling was decor throughout to a very high standard and was very welcoming with some very personal touches . Personally I struggle to sleep with the road traffic noise on the front of the house, but my daughter Absolutely love staying there and we come back again as would I . Thank you very much Vicky, I would say Beeswing Airbnb is the best todate I have stayed in .

The apartment was easy to find, it is not in the city centre but there are bus stops nearby. We needed to take a bus very early in the morning to the airport and it was easy. The apartment is comfortable and large enough for four people. It is well furnished to have meals in the house. We enjoyed the welcome pack in the fridge. The conservatory and the rear garden are lovely. Enjoy your stay there!

Marie et sa maison sont très accueillantes. Tout est fait pour se sentir comme chez soi. Les produits de première nécessité mis à disposition sont très pratiques. La maison est très bien organisée pour que 4 adultes aient bien leurs intimités et leurs commodités. Notre arrivée tardive n’a posé aucun souci pour la remise des clés par notre hôtesse. Tout était parfait, jusqu’à l’emplacement qui nous permis de découvrir Édimbourg, Glasgow ….

The flat is in a suburb of Edinburgh and very close to shops and restaurants in the Stockbridge area, which my wife and I enjoyed. It is a bit of a walk (uphill) from the flat to the Old Town area and we ended up taking Ubers most of the time when heading that way. Walking back to the flat was downhill and a nice stroll in the evening. Overall, the flat was clean and in a quiet part of town. We weren’t there most of the day and only enjoyed the space in the early morning and at night. I would recommend to anyone not looking to stay next to the touristy and busy area of Edinburgh. Two amazing places for food are within walking distance: 1) Lannan Bakery (OMFG) and 2) The Scran and Scallie (best meal of our trip).

Great place for the 6 of us, with the en suite bathrooms and bedrooms being on the back of the property, sleeping was great - Quiet, blackout shades, comfy beds. Spacious, so we never felt like we were crowded together. Location is perfect for all things Edinburgh.

This spot was absolutely perfect for our visit to Edinburgh! Easy to walk everywhere, a supermarket just a couple blocks up the street for necessities, and amazing castle views. The apartment was clean and well-equipped.

This apartment was everything everyone else has said about it. To arrive and see the view from the lounge was draw-dropping. The welcome package was very much appreciated, the best so far. The bus stop right outside was perfect and made trips into the city so easy. The village has some wonderful pubs which we enjoyed. The 2 flights of stairs were a bit of a challenge to get our suitcases up, and once up there the apartment is single level. David was really responsive and sorted out a heating issue immediately. The shower is walk-in, which is easier than being over a bath. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Wir waren für 4 Nächte in der Wohnung von James und können diese wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben ausgestattet, alles ist da. Und selbst für ein kleines Frühstück hat James vorgesorgt. Wir hatten Toast, Marmelade, Porridge und Tee zur Verfügung. Das war super. Die Lage der Wohnung ist wirklich schön. Sehr gut mit dem Bus zu erreichen (mit vielen Linien, man ist also sehr flexibel). In der Umgebung gibt es schöne Restaurants und auch die Möglichkeit für den kleinen Einkauf oder ein kleines Frühstück um die Ecke. Man ist binnen 15-20 Minuten auf der PrincessStreet. Am Abend ist es in der Gegend aber ruhig. Und mit das Beste ist der morgendliche Blick auf den Arthur's Seat - mit viel Glück (das wir hatten) liegt der super im Sonnenschein. James war ein sehr guter Gastgeber. Wir haben von ihm eine Liste mit Restaurantempfehlungen bekommen (die, die wir gennutzt haben, waren auch echt toll) und auch Tipps zum Erkunden der Stadt Absolute weiterempfehlung

Perfekt med bra och nära bussförbindelser. Allt för frukost uppskattades väldigt mycket. Vi två oldtimers rekommenderar detta boende.

Matthew was very responsive and helpful. The place is beautiful and me and my grandparents felt just a home there.

For able bodied people who are walkers, like us, up hill and down dale didn’t worry us. Great location, was more than happy with the accommodation. Thank you so much for having us stay, would highly recommend your place.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez David. Le quartier Leith est idéalement situé et accessible pour découvrir Édimbourg. L’appartement était parfaitement entretenu et à deux pas des commerces. La chambre est au calme et le lit est très confortable. David nous a fourni de précieuses informations sur les alentours et s’est montré plein de petites attentions. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Natasha's place served as the perfect base for me and my wife to explore Edinburgh, Glasgow and surroundings. Well furnished kitchen, spacious bathroom and a big and comfortable bed was all we needed after a long day of walking and sightseeing. We highly recommend it!

We loved Sinan's place, it was in a perfect location and the house really felt home. It was a beautiful home and we had a comfortable stay. I will definitely choose this on my next stay and it's highly recommended!

Die Unterkunft eignet sich sehr gut für einen Edinburgh Aufenthalt, wenn man nicht direkt in der Stadt übernachten will. Hervorragende Busverbindung. Direkt vor der Haustüre. Kleines gemütliches Zimmer mit Bad. Keine Küche, trotzdem alles vorhanden und bei Katrina wirst Du Lebensmitteltechnisch für ein Frühstück hervorragend versorgt

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti. Tutto é stato perfetto, dall’accoglienza alla disponibilità per qualsiasi informazioni. All’arrivo in tarda serata ci hanno accompagnato a prenderci da mangiare e a farci vedere la stazione dei treni. Jo e il marito sono stati gentilissimi

This location was incredibly convenient for public transport, with a bus stop right outside the entrance. There were plenty of local supermarkets nearby and the surroundings were lovely. The host( Catherine) was exceptionally kind and always ready to help. The room was spotless and well-equipped—even an EU-UK adapter was provided. Breakfast was great as well. I highly recommend this wonderful Airbnb to everyone ^_^

The perfect little cottage within walking distance to everything! And John was the perfect host! His entire family worked as a team to insure our stay was amazing. They communicated well, always had great recommendations, and provided everything we could possibly need. This cottage is so close to EVERYTHING! I can’t stress this enough. There’s a GREAT restaurant, quaint little shops, a bakery, a convenience store, local attractions, etc. literally across the street. And I’ll add, while the cottage is central to everything, just off the main road, it’s sooooo quiet. You can’t go wrong booking John’s place!
