Stayed for one night and like many others wish we had more time to stay longer! Exactly as described, beautiful location! 2 minute walk to the village.

Had an amazing 3 days away in the copper cabin .couldn’t recommend it anymore . Defiantly worth more than 5 stars 🌟 Absolutely spotless and so relaxing . 5 mins from beautiful beaches . And a small drive to tramore with lots to do . The hot tub , sauna and cold water plunge even made our stay 10 times better . The cabin has everything you need . Will defiantly be back again was sad leaving . Most beautiful spot 😍

West Cork holds a special place in my heart, this little cabin made our stay very comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. Looking forward to seeing Matts Firepit in the future. The site is clean with modern conviences.

From the moment we drove through the green gates, we both beamed with smiles - we had stepped into heaven. We couldn't have asked more - the birds were singing, the air was filled with fragrance and the garden full of colour. It helped that the sun was shining but, honestly, the pod itself, the little 'shanty' and the barrel hot bath would be as good on a dark, cold night. Our host, Teresa (and her brother Garry), was always wonderful to us too - straightforward, sincere and keen to make sure we enjoyed all we could from our stay. We've already recommended Millway Pod to friends and family. We hope to be back soon.

Het huis was groot, schoon en veel privacy. Het bubbelbad was warm toen we aankwamen. Kamile had wel even geïnformeerd hoe laat we zouden aankomen. De host is echt super aardig en gastvrij. Hiermee kun je hospitality wel met een hoofdletter schrijven. De accommodatie ligt buiten het drukke Kilkarney maar vlak bij de toegang tot de gap of Dunloe. Je hebt een schitterend uitzicht over de bergen vanuit het huis en vanuit het bubbelbad. Wij hadden echt schitterend zonnig weer en dat helpt natuurlijk wel in Ierland

Val's cabin was lovely, and the views were incredible! We've had an amazing stay between friends. I always love coming to West Cork, and Val's cabin added to the charm of our stay. I highly recommend if you want to feel the nature and be close to all attractions the Beara Penninsula has to offer.

When we arrived at the cottage we were stunned by the beautiful landscape.Eileen and Robert gave us the warmest of welcomes, it was the very definition of a warm irish welcome. They had the fire lit for us in the cottage and knowing we were keen hikers , they took the time to go through the book they created detailing all the walks in the area , and also recommended restaurants. This cottage is straight out of the film "The Holiday". Its so beautifully restored , incredibly warm and cosy. If that wasnt enough , they had left us an easter egg as a gift and even left the dogs some treats. We got a variety of weather 3 days were great and 2 days of rain. When we got back from hiking in the rain ,the stove warmed us up in no time. Eileen and Robert made sure we were well stocked with wood. The biggest downside of our stay was that we couldnt stay here forever. Thanks so much Eileen and Robert!

Amazing house and location. Pictures don't do it justice, such a cosy little cottage! No wifi which we saw as a massive opportunity to switch off. Most comfortable bed we have ever slept in!!

We had a fantastic trip with wonderful weather. Ann’s cabin was just so lovely and peaceful to stay at and we would love to visit again. Things we loved about the cabin: dog friendly, welcoming host, great wifi and an airfryer! Lovely little touches that Ann has provided in the cabin like a clothes horse for beach towels and just such a lovely vibe and atmosphere. We loved our stay!

The stay at the Cedar Boathouse was exactly how we had imagined. The area around Baltimore is beautiful and you have a great view of the sunset. Communication with the hosts was very easy. Thanks a lot :)

Cabane avec une vue imprenable et dans un endroit des plus paisibles. L intérieur est parfait avec tout ce qu il faut et très propre. Un plaisir de séjourner chez Aoife et Ben. Nous avons pu voir des lapins gambader ainsi que 2 renards magnifiques. Nous avons eu du mal à partir. Merci à nos hôtes

Jenny and her lovely dogs were there to greet us when we arrived. She was very welcoming and informative about where to go for a relaxing drink after our drive. We had a beautiful evening in front of the barbecue and loads of firewood and charcoal. Room was spotless and bed and pillows were very comfortable. If you want peace and tranquility and want to be near to nature , then we would highly recommend Jennys cabins

We absolutely loved staying at Robin’s nest. We had everything we needed and sat out for breakfast every morning in the most beautiful setting. It was very comfortable. Carol was a great host too! Very warm and helpful.

Thank you Anke. Lovely warm welcome, the cabin is so cosy, warm, inviting and has everything you need for a stay over. Use the lake, it is an amazing resource to have on the land. We used the kayak and swam it was glorious. Views to die for you can't get sick of looking at them

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Joanne’s Hideaway. The views were absolutely breathtaking—easily the most stunning and dramatic landscape we’ve ever experienced. Being so close to the historic Dunlough Castle and lake, perched right on the edge of the Mizen Peninsula cliffs, made the setting feel magical. The residence itself was perfect: spotlessly clean, incredibly cosy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a peaceful, relaxing weekend. The hosts were a pleasure to deal with and were kind enough to accommodate our late check-in with no fuss. We also ordered from the room service menu, and the food was amazing. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

We loved our stay at Dragons Rest , it's a beautiful little getaway in a beautiful garden , lots to do in the area and Kilkenny is less than 30 minutes away . The cabin is beautifully kept and presented with fresh scones and butter and jam as a welcome we felt right at home . I definitely recommend Dragons Rest .

Wat een heerlijk huisje: alles basic en off-grid, maar daar waren we op ingelezen en maakte de ervaring nog meer ‘back to basic’. Door de uitgebreide voorbereidingen van Shane waren we goed voorbereid en dankzij de instructiefilmjes en snelle behulpzame communicatie, was het tijdens ons verblijf ook erg comfortabel. Zowel de directe omgeving van het huisje als de regio zijn werkelijk prachtig en heerlijk rustig. Alle tips van Shane waren spot-on en hebben we heel erg van genoten. Dank je wel!!

It was a wonderful stay at Denise’s place. It was peaceful and we felt right at home. The farm is a beautiful place and you get first hand experience and interaction with the animals. The special touches include daily sourdough bread, scones and trail walk to visit the cows. We will definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to be back. Special shout out to Denise and John for making it an amazing experience.
