Great place We had 7 adults and there was plenty of room Great access to Muri and all the cafe, restaurants and night markets Easy stroll to the beach over the small bridge and the Avocado tree that dropped a few each night for us to collect in the morning was a great bonus Great kitchen facilities and the BBQ was great Will definitely look to stay there on our next visit

Greg's house is a great base to explore Rarotonga. It's comfortable, stylish and is right on the oceanfront. The location is not somewhere you can swim safely, although rockpools are interesting at low tide. The house has a lovely lap pool which is perfect for hot days and morning exercise. The roar of the waves is a constant backdrop, reminding you that you're in South Pacific paradise. The house is best suited to 2 couples with two large bedrooms, I feel, although our youngest son (18) was quite happy out in thel studio, but it is basic. We travelled with our two sons, and the flexibility that the house offered, rather than booking 2 rooms in a resort, was fantastic. Sitting on the deck at sunset, G & T in hand, was a daily highlight, such a privilege. The house is super quiet, in terms of any noise from neighbours, so very private and peaceful. The flat grassed garden to the side was great for our soccer-mad boys to kick a ball around for exercise. You absolutely need a car.

We love staying at Lisa’s Echo Lodge. The place was removed from any congestion and had such a stunning view and feel of the Cook Islands . It was close to everything and was remote at the same time, the beach was quite accessible. It probably would be best to get a car if you were staying there, but not necessary. The lodge itself was paradise, it so well appointed with everything you need. The details and the thoughtful planning was evident. We loved the house. We thoroughly enjoyed Lisa who is responsive and friendly. We spoke with her every morning as she was doing her daily chores and in the evening as well, but certainly there is plenty of private time for you, as she is not intrusive at all, quite friendly , we highly recommend this day for us as it gave you a whole different environment on the island and still the beaches were absolutely accessible. But the beauty of staying on these grounds, seem like a tropical paradise, beyond the pale.

A nice private place to stay close to Avarua. Also easy to catch a bus from there and get around the island. Jaewynn was friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful villa! The snorkeling right out the front was incredible, and the location couldn’t be better – just a short drive to Muri but tucked away in a peaceful spot. The villa was very well presented and thoughtfully set out, with a stunning deck view where we could relax and take in the ocean. We loved having access to the kayaks, and the kids especially enjoyed the outdoor shower after a day in the water. It was warm, but the air conditioning in the bedroom and the coastal breeze at night made it manageable. After spending over a week exploring the island and chatting with locals, we couldn’t agree more – this is the best spot on the island. The neighboring villa is so private we hardly noticed it. Highly recommend this beautiful getaway for a peaceful and relaxing Cook Islands experience!

You cannot beat the location of this place! It's right on the water, super close to Muri and amenities. Gwen and Jojo make you feel welcomed. We had an amazing stay.

Ian's place is a fantastic location - right on the beach. A fantastic deck overlooking the sea was the highlight for us - lots of BBQs sitting at the great big table watching the sunsets. The house itself was very clean (a bit tired but very functional) and was more than what we needed for a beach Bach stay. The snorkling out the front of the property was great and a short walk up the beach to the lagoonarium provided some incredible snorkling (we even saw a turtle). Ian happily made arrangements for us to check in at 2am and was easy to get hold of when we had questions. Would happily stay here again!!!

We could not have been happier with our choice of sunset quay. The house was spotlessly clean, the pool and outdoor area were stunning. My two young boys loved having a pool and the beach at their doorstep. We did not want to leave. It is in a perfect location next door to Beluga cafe, the falafel shake and other great restaurants and only a short drive to town and the airport. We loved having summer the dog visit every day, as we were missing our dog back home terribly. We will be highly recommending this property to any family and friends visiting Rarotonga. The Navigator Beachfront Studio in Muri Beach, Rarotonga, was a hidden gem for us looking for a peaceful beachfront retreat. It was modern and clean design, with a fully equipped kitchen, private pool, and kayaks for exploring the lagoon. The location is ideal, within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shop and night market. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable king-size bed, the cool ocean breeze, and felt very safe and secure. The internet and air con worked very well. Joyita warmly welcomed us for our early check in and gave us lots tips to make our stay so enjoyable. It’s such a peaceful location and certainly the best accommodation to stay in Rarotonga. Thanks again and we will certainly to be returning to this stunningly beautiful part of the world. Donna and Cliff

Absolutely lovely. The two totally private, walled in garden areas were a highlight. The room was well equipped and very comfortable. Rick, the owner, was delightful. Definitely hope to come back soon.

I'm not usually one for long reviews, but this place deserves all the praise. From the start, our hosts were incredible, picking us up early from the airport with beautiful local flowers in hand. She didn't just stop there; she took us to the market for some essentials and arranged scooter for us, including a dinner reservation at an amazing restaurant nearby that we're still taking about. The hospitality extended to helping us with a late checkout and a ride back to the airport, which was so appreciated. Every member of the staff was really friendly. The resort itself: absolutely stunning. The pool and beach were beyond beautiful, exactly what you'd picture when you think of a paradise island. Our room was the perfect blend of stylish and comfy, making it a place we were happy to come back to after a day of exploring. The beds and pillows were next-level comfortable, having Netflix and air conditioning was a nice touch of home comfort! We loved everything, recommending to everyone!

This place was the best we've stayed in on Raro for it's view of the sea, it's swimming pool and it's layout, two large bedrooms with ensuites and a third room with another bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would book again. The house was immaculately clean and the verandah views were the best for sunsets. The lagoon is swimmable at high tide and ok for snorkeling, and not far from Aro'a where there is good snorkeling. Eddie was flexi with our checkout which we appreciated given the late night flight out. Thanks so much for the accommodation. We hope to be back again.

We loved staying here, there was plenty of space for everyone. I had some questions for Sisi that weren’t answered on the messages beforehand which made me concerned as we had booked another Airbnb before this one and had the booking changed on us, so I was a bit nervous about that. However this was a reliable booking and a lovely sanctuary of a space, especially for a multi generation family holiday.

Our family of 5 had an excellent stay at your beautiful air b n b. The property had everything you needed and felt like a home away from home. We have travelled to Rarotonga 5 times before and we would not hesitate to refer people to stay here on the south side. We will be back. Meitaki Maata.

We had a wonderful stay at Coco Beach House with our friends. 7 of us stayed (4 adults and 3 kids) for 8 nights. The salt water pool was a hit with the kids and adults alike, and we loved lounging on the large wooden deck with hammocks looking out to ocean views. The 3 bedrooms downstairs (with the single bed added to the largest bedroom) suited us well. We didn’t end up using the upstairs mezzanine bed as it doesn’t have AC so it was too warm for our kids. The kitchen is very well-equipped and we enjoyed barbecuing on the deck. The Tamarind Restaurant two doors down is a sublime spot to have a drink or dinner and watch the sunset. Thank you Minar for sharing your beautiful home with us and for being a terrific host!

This was our third time staying at Paul’s place. The house is fantastic. It was great to have a full kitchen as we like to prepare our own meals some of the time. We had a car so found it easy to get around the island. Very close to the airport which was handy. It’s not the best area for swimming or snorkelling, but the lagoon outlook is beautiful. We enjoyed afternoon strolls along the beach and ‘happy hour’ on the deck admiring the stunning sunsets. Paul was very easy to communicate with and very generously allowed us to check in a bit earlier which was very helpful. There’s a bakery and service station in walking distance which made grabbing a few essentials very easy, however we did a bigger shop at the local supermarket a 5 min drive away. We prefer to snorkel near The Rarotongan and opposite Chantal’s Concierge which was an easy drive towards the other end of the island. Overall a very comfortable stay at a reasonable price. You can’t go wrong at Paul’s.

Unless seeking luxury I don’t know why one might ever need more than this. Lagoon runs right to the deck but for a ribbon of white sand. Turtles and fish and clear water make for beautiful swimming and snorkeling in front of the house. Almost everything we loved that wasn’t at the location itself was close by. Friendly and relaxed hosts. A beautiful week. Will return.

The house was great, the location was perfect: it was easy to get to the beach and Muri town, and Cathy was wonderful to deal with and very helpful. We had a fantastic time!

Genuinely the best Airbnb any of us have stayed in! Gorgeous home. All the amenities you could possibly need. We stayed for 8 nights and wanted for nothing. Well stocked pantry. Amazing amount of towels and linen to use. Comfy beds. Good air-con. Amazing location!! The lagoon just outside is perfect for snorkelling and swimming, we would often have turtles swimming past us! The Avaavaroa passage is just to the right but it’s easy to stay away from. Next door is Sea Pace turtle tours, which is an amazing company to go and see turtles with. They helped us navigate the passage and were very friendly and knowledgeable. Amazing place to stay, brilliant value for money, couldn’t recommend it more!!

One of the best airbnb stays I've ever had. Tere and family made me feel welcome immediately, and are absolutely fantastic hosts. They gave me great recommendations on where to find good food, the convenience store that's open late, and best things to see and do. The penthouse is cozy and clean, the bed comfortable, and the views are stunning. Enjoy the sunsets from the balcony or the beach, which is a literal stone's throw away. Don't overthink this one. I'd happily stay in the penthouse again, or one of their villas. Meitaki ma'ata, thank you all for an amazing holiday!

Lovely and beautiful bungalow right by the sea, very cozy and private. Location is great but I do recommend renting a car or a scooter. Brooke kindly organized a scooter for us which was a great way to explore the island! Would definitely recommend staying at barefoot bungalow and enjoy the laid back island life of Aitutaki :-)

Fantastic stay at a fantastic place, and a fantastic host as well! The view from the terrace is worth a million dollars. Elizabeth was also so kind to offer us a late check out because our flight to Aitutaki left in the late afternoon. Meitaki maata!

Mathilda is kind and helpfull, she found us a lagoon tour on Sunday and arranged us the hire of bikes ( normal and electric) The bungalow correspond to the description Bike, scooter or a car are needed to visit the island , as the accommodation is 11 km from the airport.
