It is totally self-contained - perfect for safe self-isolation in this unspoilt corner of the west of Ireland. The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. Our cosy cottage is a perfect base to explore Connemara. Enjoy our wood burning stove, underfloor heating, wet-room, pine furniture and leather two seater, 4 ring hob & oven, fridge, washing machine & microwave, a library, TV/DVD & garden sunroom with decking area. It is a perfect retreat for Couples and Solo Travellers especially, and a complimentary home cooked meal will be included at no extra cost for all those single guests travelling alone, if they wish.
