This is a cute home! The location is so quiet and peaceful. The photos posted doesn’t do it justice, very pretty inside! The bedding they use is really comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again.

This was our second time at Meika's place, and it was just as clean and comfortable as a couple of years ago.

We had a great time. Things were clean and easy to find. The neighborhood is quiet, but the floors are echoey, we could hear every footstep, even in socks. The window coverings do not block light very well. The sun rose at 6am very brightly. It’s awkward having the only bathroom between the bedrooms. We traveled as a family and my daughter slept in the living room, but had no private space to change clothes and had to wait until her brother or both parents were presentable before gaining access to the bathroom. Would be a great place for couples! The beds weee clean and soft. We were warm at night. Everything was very close!

Great location to visit Painted Hills & John Day fossil beds. Tiger Town Brewery had great food and beverages. Lovely creekside cabin, outdoor fire pit was very relaxing. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful views throughout the area. Cattle, horses and farms all around.

The grain elevators are the only structure in the neighborhood, taller than this house. The top floor of the house is visible blocks away. The small town of Goldendale floats amid rolling, green hills just north of the Columbia gorge. We enjoyed everything about our stay here. The small town vibe. The eclectic and well presented furnishings. The fact that everything was spic and span and it wasn't us who had to clean it all. The red house has experienced so many incarnations over the years ... intermixed with fun and seriously engaging art on the walls, are many depictions of the house in a variety of media. The only place where there are more pictures of the house than inside the house itself, is on the internet. I Google lensed a picture and ... this place is famous. For good reason. The house is historic, fun, clean, comfortable, entertaining and handsome. But you don't care about that. You want to know if there are spatulas and good water pressure. Yes. All is well.

The home was very clean, very comfortable and well equipped. That’s important because we cook all our own meals. This was a return trip for us.

I stay here every time I’m in the area for work. Is very comfortable and quiet. Will be back.

Great spot for a weekend away for fishing. Great location, clean, had all the amenities listed, and a super communicative host.

The rental has a great mix of modern updates combined with retro fashion and repurposed materials: what a wonderfully funky bedroom door. I absolutely love the lamp shades in the kitchen and living room. She also makes great use of the modest amount of space. Overall, the place is well balanced visually and spatially. Truly, a lot of thought and consideration went into this rental. Anne's place is simply charming. It has style. I don't mean fashionable. I mean personally stylish, which is genuine. All said, Anne's rental has her heart in it. Good luck finding such elsewhere in the vicinity. Best of all things though, the place doesn't even feel like a rental. I would guess that Anne's place is really what Airbnb's are all about. If you ask her though, she'd probably tell you that The Hokey Pokey is Really What It's ALL About (You'd have to stay here to understand).
