We hope your stay is enjoyable whether you came to cook in the kitchen, BBQ, watch the sunset from the hot tub, relax in the pool (seasonal), stargaze into hillcountry night skies without city lights or noise, read in a hammock, sit by the fire, play indoor games, basketball, bean bag toss or yoga on the patio. We truly have it all. Please note we are in a cove of Medina Lake which may be 40ft deep here at the house or 100% dry. Please check prior to your booking!

Get back to the basics in a peaceful cozy cabin at FoxFire in Vanderpool. Enjoy reconnecting with nature with a walk or swim in the Sabinal River, hike at Lost Maples Park, birdwatching, or enjoying the stars and a campfire at night! 2 Bedroom 1 bath fully furnished comfy cabins. No Tvs or Microwave but WiFi, campfire ring, BBQ grill full kitchen/bath with outdoor picnic area. The grounds also have a playground, basketball goal, volleyball net, and river access. This peaceful cabin is centrally located in the Texas Hill Country, close to Garner State Park, Lost Maples State Park and Hill Country State Natural Area. Drive through the Hill Country on the Twisted Sisters, enjoying the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Close by, you can enjoy floating or swimming in the Frio River and the Sabinal River at the Utopia Park. Utopia has a renowned golf course featured in the movie Seven Days in Utopia. Concan 20 miles away also has a golf course.
