First we ramble, talk plants, share stories, then we yoga and bask in the green forest energy.
We'll start our adventure with a slow and steady wander through some wonderful forested spaces, rich with plant life and animal visitors. We'll see lots of plant friends (and taste a few depending on the season), and a pass a lovely little lake or two that are seasonal stop overs for many bird species.
Depending on the season, there are options to extend the hiking if we find ourselves moving quickly, or feeling inspired to stretch our legs. Likewise there are trails rated for ADA access! I strive to make this forest bath available for all.
Expect to spend at least 90min on the hiking portion of the journey.
Eventually, we will settle in to move through a gentle, mindful yoga practice. We can take advantage of the clean, fresh air while we stretch our bodies and quiet our minds.
Other things to note:
-Host will provide small yoga 'matlets' to use if desired, no need to bring one.
-We hike rain or shine so dress for the weather (you'd be surprised how fun it can be to get a little dirty or wet in the forest, bring an open mind and some extra clothes in the car).
-Bring hydration and snacks, footwear for walking, and maybe bug spray or sunscreen depending on the season.
