The Cottage at Honey Creek

All Airbnb’s are not alike. We are more of a destination Cottage. If you love nature, like to relax, this is it! Honey Creek is just off the deck with opportunities to see ducks, mink, herons, bald eagles and deer. The scenery changes with the season! We are 1 mile from the quaint village of Reedsville with eateries, shops and taverns... all surrounded by the Amish community. State College is 27 miles. Beautiful flower beds show their vibrant colors along side the tranquility of Honey Creek!

This fully renovated cottage offers the comfort of a brand-new home, providing a peaceful and unique retreat. Nestled on two acres of serene land, it's the perfect place to relax and unwind. Welcome to the Cabin at Mitchell Run - designed to bring people together! This versatile space is perfect for a couple or multiple families by sleeping up to 12 in beds and accommodating lengthy stays. The outdoor pavilion and campfire facilitates memory making activities. Although nestled in the foothills of Shade Mountain, this cabin has excellent high speed internet (25mbps). Located outside Beaver Springs, it is 20 min. from Rt. 322 and 25 min. from the Port Royal Speedway.

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

Our cottage is located in a safe & quiet neighborhood. It is very cozy, relaxing and private. Our cottage lies on the outskirts of the quaint little town of Woodward, nestled along the woods, in the midst of Amish country. We are located halfway between State College (Penn State) and Lewisburg (Bucknell), approximately 40 minutes commute either way. This area is great for hiking, biking, hunting, and excellent fly fishing.
