Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

Newly refurbished, fully renovated 1870 fisherman’s cottage in the quaint conservation village of Cockenzie, East Lothian. Decorated in sumptuous velvets, tartan, unique art, copper switches, sockets and accent lighting throughout. Exposed stone walls, (gas) wood burner, open plan lounge (with double sofa bed) kitchen/dining with window seat in Harris Tweed to watch the world go by. Spacious double bedroom, separate dressing area and stylish bathroom with power shower. Ideal coastal getaway!

6 bed Edinburgh chalet only minutes from beach

Our modern Chalet sits in the Haven Resort at Seton Sands in a quiet discrete spot, very close to reception and all the amenities. There is a double bedroom with ensuite and two twin bedrooms. We have a large lounge area with comfortable seating for up to 6 people. There is free parking and a local bus service going right to the heart of Edinburgh. Passes can be purchased to use all the facilities of the Haven Resort, including swimming pools, restaurants and bars. Free wifi within the resort.

Cockenzie Studio

Relax in this cosy stylish studio which is an annexe to our 1880 fisherman's cottage in the quaint historic harbour village of Cockenzie, linked with Port Seton - the house is actually located on the battlefield of the Battle of Prestonpans. Five minutes walk to the harbour and local swimming cove and even closer to Cockenzie House - a thriving community hub with beautiful gardens, a cafe, vintage fairs, live music and much more. The coastal walkway John Muir Way runs through Cockenzie.

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

Welcome to No. 20, The High Street, Cockenzie! This idyllic fisherman’s cottage dates back to the 17th-century. It is the perfect holiday retreat for families, walkers on the John Muir Way - or simply for a romantic getaway. The views are spectacular. The cottage directly faces the sandy beach, a perfect little rocky cove, and the sea beyond. The sunsets are breath-taking and you may even glimpse dolphins and seals in their natural habitat.

A stunning Lodge only 20 minutes from Edinburgh by train. Full of colour and character set in large gardens overlooking the nearby golf course to the sea beyond. The beautiful garden with small orchard and large area of decking is ideal for enjoying a BBQ with family or friends on a summer's evening. 4 minutes walk to the beach and 1 minute to the golf course, (10% discount on green fees at local golf course for our guests).

Excellent location amazing views. Central Heating for them cold nights bus every 15min into the most beautiful city in Scotland. Accommodation only play passes can be purchased online or on arrival if you wish. Mary 😀 Unfortunately my guests can’t buy play passes at Christmas and New Year Haven are not allowing it. I’m so sorry I’ve no control over this, hopefully they will resolve this next year.
