tl;dr - Very good property, I recommend it. Jeeja and Arun's stay is fantastic. It is located in a peaceful residential area and has a good view. The interiors are done very thoughtfully and match the photos. The house has a fully functional kitchen. The cleanliness is also very good. The caretaker Shameera and her son Aashiq are very sweet and they helped us with anything we mentioned to them. Shameera cooks very good food and the rate card for it is also reasonable. The host Arun was always available on call/text even though he does not live on the property. He was very responsive and helped us with any requests we had.

Wir waren sehr glücklich mit unserem Aufenthalt bei Sunaina. Sie und ihre Familie sind herzliche Gastgebende. Sunaina hat uns Tipps für An- und Abreise gegeben, die unsere Pläne ergänzt haben. Sie hat uns außerdem spontan eine tolle Canoe-Tour mit Vishnu zum Sonnenaufgang organisiert. Wir würden die Canou-Tour zum Sonnenaufgang allen empfehlen. Das Anwesen ist wunderschön und am Abend mit vielen Lichterketten beleuchtet. Man kann direkt am Fluss entspannen. Das Essen ist lecker! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit! Wir kommen gerne wieder nach Munroe Island zu euch:)

Biji's place was one of the best experiences I have had in my life, and I think the others in our group of 7 would agree. You must stay here: the place is literally on the Kallada river, a boat can come pick you up from the house and take you on a mangrove tour, and you can even swim just by getting down a few steps. The setting is unbeatable. The house itself seemed all brand new, modern, very comfortable. Even the roof was beautiful, but my favourite feature was the ample 2 porch areas with fans, we basically sat outside the entire time to enjoy the views. Clean, gorgeous, and serene, this place is a must-stay. A lovely lady cooked delicious meals for us for a small extra charge, making the stay even better. Biji's hospitality went beyond all this, he even managed to find a gluten-free cake for our friend's birthday, in addition to helping us arrange cabs and boat ride. Many thanks for this unforgettable stay, Biji. We truly felt we were in God's Own Country.

Had a great stay at this place. The beach is literally right outside the front gate, with an amazing sea view from the property. The hospitality was just awesome. The owner's father is a wonderful person—he even offered us home-cooked food (we had to politely decline because we didn’t want to trouble him), and he stocked the fridge with dry fruits for us. He checked in every day to see if we needed anything. All in all, a really good experience.

Herrliche zwei Tage auf dem Hausboot verbracht. Das Essen, die gesamte Organisation und das freundliche Personal waren hervorragend. Die Fahrt selbst ist unbeschreiblich schön und lässt einem aus dem Indischen Treiben entfliehen, was auch mal sehr erholsam sein kann. Ich kann nur jedem dieses Erlebnis empfehlen.

An amazing traditional keralan cottage that exceeded our expectations. In a great location out of the wa of the tourist area so we felt like we were right amongst the locals but also next to the backwaters, so beautiful. Great staff and facilities would highly recommend

We stayed at Thira Marari for two days and had a wonderful experience. The hosts were amazing—friendly, welcoming, and provided us with local recommendations. The caretaker Jomon was always around to help and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The complimentary home-cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious. The property was well-planned and thoughtfully designed, with all necessary amenities and beautifully maintained garden spaces. The views were breathtaking, with the beach visible from the lawn and the constant sound of waves in the background. The viewing deck was a great bonus, where we spent our evenings watching magnificent sunsets. It's rare to find a stay that blends comfort, beauty and genuine care so effortlessly. A Home Away from Home – A Truly Wonderful Stay! Our stay at this beautiful Airbnb was nothing short of amazing! The house itself is even more stunning than it appears in the pictures. It radiates such a warm, homely vibe that we instantly felt at ease. Despite not having an AC, the house remained naturally cool, making our stay incredibly comfortable, even in the March heat. What truly made this experience special was Gopakumar Sir and his wife. They are such wonderful hosts - kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like family. They not only greeted us with warmth but also guided us to nearby attractions, ensuring we never had to worry about anything. Gopakumar Sir was always prompt in responding to our queries, making everything seamless. The location is also convenient, with the market nearby for any essentials. This place is worth every penny, and we’ll surely return. Grateful for such a memorable stay!

We had an incredible stay at Anwar’s beachfront property! From the moment we booked, Anwar went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and well-informed. He was always quick to respond to any questions we had and provided helpful recommendations that made our trip even more enjoyable. The property itself was everything we hoped for and more – clean, beautifully maintained, and right on the beach with breathtaking views. Anwar’s hospitality truly made this stay special.
