What an incredible slice of heaven at Ginny's Place! Spent a few days with my family to get away and reconnect and couldn't ask for a better place! The view of the river is incredible, I spent every morning there with a cup of coffee before anyone got up and soaked in the peace and calm the Chowan River had to offer. The house is beautifully decorated and felt very warm and inviting. My kids had a wonderful time fishing off the dock and my son had his first experience with the provided kayak and that made for beautiful pictures and memories. One thing I should of looked up was the proximity of a Tesla charging station, 45 mins to the closest charger was at least manageable. There is a country store, hardware store and a deli all within 10 minutes and had most of the items we needed. Food Lion is 15 minutes away and so is downtown Edenton. We had dinner at the Herringbone and it was amazing! Their sweet tea and local fish was absolutely delicious. Book this place, you will not regret it

We were in town for just a short time and we were glad Kim's place was available, we had stayed here in 2024 and it worked out perfect for us.

This home was beautiful, immaculately clean, and in a great area! There are multiple little touches that added warmth and a sense of welcome to our stay!

Kay was great from booking to checkout. She left us homemade ginger snap cookies upon our arrival and the house was spotless. I felt like I was staying with family. Beautiful setting and bird feeders outside every window, I enjoyed coffee every morning watching the birds on the feeders. There’s also a couple outdoor cats that were my daughter’s favorite, every morning she we would go out to see them on the back deck and love on them.

This adorable historic property was the perfect home base for our family to explore the charming town of Edenton! With six adults and one high energy dog, we needed a space that was comfortable enough for all of us to stay connected while also allowing for privacy, and we wanted a safe outdoor space for our dog to get some exercise. We got it all with this home! Nicole was completely on top of communication, even responding within minutes to a question we had regarding one of the tours in town while we were there. She could not have made our experience better. As for Edenton, it was beyond charming, highly walkable (we walked the dog everywhere) and brimming with friendly people. The location could not be beat-literally steps away from cute shops and restaurants. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

We loved our stay at Erik and Lia’s. It’s a beautiful house in a beautiful area. They thought of everything and more! We would love to stay again.

VanDee was very helpful and quick to offer information and respond to questions. Location was premiere with a water view across the park and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The two cruiser bikes were in very good condition and we rode them all over town. Leather chair/ottoman was very comfortable. Highly recommend property and host!!

This was our 2nd time staying in the upstairs big studio unit. WE love this place as we are a USCG family and our family/grandkids are there in E-City. Great view, right on the bay, the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Alice is the best, she answers quickly and is flexible about arrival times which helps when driving from Raliegh to E-City. It is a joy to stay there. We fish so love what she has done with her big boathouse on the property where you can relax out of the weather or sun and fish, socialize, watch the bay, etc. You have everything you need in there for a wonderful stay. All amenities! Sunrises and sunsets are amazing!!!!! thanks again Alice for a great visit.

Jen was SO friendly and accommodating!! I booked the Dock House for my best friends bachelorette trip; she allowed me to decorate freely & have an early check in so I could set up before the rest of the party arrived! Everything is within a 10 minute drive or an even a walk if you don’t mind a few miles a day. Neighborhood was quite, our upstairs neighbors were up one night STARTING construction at 12am and it lasted until about 2am so that was pretty annoying (especially for our stay- we were trying to relax before the wedding and that really ticked me off because it’s in the manual for the area: quite hours are from 10pm-7am so there’s no excuse, but they were quite the other nights after that so it’s fine & to no fault of Jen/Stew!) We had more than enough space throughout the house and the large connecting deck from the dinning room, to the family room/kitchen, to the main bedroom was SO pretty in the morning & perfect for our meals throughout the day! Will DEFINITELY be back!! 🫶
