Access Chippewa Lake through the DNR launch, which is a turn off of our private road and within walking distance to our cottage. We are located 7.5 miles from Haymarsh State Game Area and 12.5 miles from Big Rapid where you can attend a Ferris game or dine in one of the many local restaurants. ATV and UTV riding is legal on all non M roads with your ORV sticker to explore the area or visit the local winery.

This sweet little cabin on the river is a remodeled/updated log cabin from the 1940’s. Simple and slightly rustic, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We think it has the best view on the whole river. There is shallow water and a sand bar mid-river in front of the house. The swans, geese, ospreys and Bald Eagles are a treat to watch. The cabin is a relaxing and intimate getaway for couples. It is cozy in the winter with a small hot tub overlooking a beautiful view.

Relaxing River Cottage with Hot Tub is located on the bank of the Muskegon River just south of Big Rapids. Get away from the hustle and bustle and unwind in our Hot Tub.The peace and tranquility this location provides is unmatched! Nestled on the bank of the Muskegon River on one of the only private roads in the area, there's only two houses past our cottage. No road noise here! Make memories around our fire pit, on the deck or the platform near the river. $75 dog fee, 2 dog max.

Nice patio out back with covered area to grill out. Walking distance to the North Country Trail and 10 min from the new Dragon trail. There is one queen bed and a couch. It will comfortably sleep two guest.

Our home is a few blocks to downtown Clare where you will find unique local shops, eateries, and entertainment.
