Holler Hut

Our tiny little cabin is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you are looking for a remote getaway with beautiful sites, some fabulous fishing, or riding your side by side through the mountains, this place is in the heart of it. Nestled in the holler of Leadmine, WV is our hut. So close to Thomas, WV with their streets of shopping; Davis, WV with Blackwater Falls and restaurants; Canaan is not much further up the road. And the endless trails to ride your buggies!!

Dandy Flats - The Quaintrelle

Tucked inside the oldest historic buildings on the main drag in Thomas and adorned with 135-year old plaster walls, original woodwork, encaustic tile and purple marble - this tastefully styled flat is for those looking for the transportive experience historic buildings deliver. With espresso, galleries, live music, shops, food, and drinks steps away, you have the forests and a tiny cityscape just steps out your door. This apartment is offered at the Dandy Flats - a lovingly restored Inn.

Tree House

Wintertime readiness: When we have snow, 4-wheel or All-wheel drive will be best. Watch the weather. Un plug at Tree House. There is no Wi-Fi. We provide a TV w/ DVDs. There’s a cabin smart phone for your use if you do not have phone service. A 15 minute drive takes you to Thomas, WV for food and art and music (and Wi-Fi).Five more minutes and you are in Davis for Blackwater Falls State Park. A few more miles down the road find two alpine ski areas and White Grass Ski Touring Center.

This cozy aframe is a perfect glamping getaway for two! You'll stay on 20 acres with over 700 feet of frontage on Abrams Creek. Ready to unplug? The aframe is completely off grid with solar energy and a wood-fired stove. Sleep in luxury with fine linens and a queen size bed, but spend your day splashing in the crystal clear creek and hiking through the forest. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more.
