What a great space! We were in town for the Athens Twilight race. We had plenty of room. The beds were perfectly comfortable. The space was clean. The only downside is the tight driveway. Thank you so much for hosting!

Me and my husband enjoyed staying here. It’s was peaceful and quiet. And loved the creek behind the house. Amy was very nice and helpful with any questions.

We had a wonderful time with our friends. It was 3 couples so the 3 beds and 3.5 baths worked perfectly. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and had everything we needed- including a waffle maker. Everything was in working condition and was beautiful down to the fresh cut flowers. We loved the screened in porch that is not really featured with the images. The easy walk to downtown Athens was a huge benefit so we could enjoy all the downtown benefits without worrying about driving or parking.

We loved our stay at Michelle and Tyler’s house! It was exactly as described and as shown in the photos. It was perfect for our girlfriend weekend getaway. We really liked the layout. And the front porch was a wonderful spot to hangout with a cup of tea in the morning. So quiet and peaceful. I did have trouble with the front door keypad when I arrived (I think the battery died) and Tyler was there within 10 minutes to help me out. We’d definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay! It was very peaceful. The place was beautifully decorated and immaculate! I especially was grateful for the non toxic cleaners and no shoes rule! 😌

Jillian was wonderful to communicate with - friendly and such a nice vibe! Her place was just perfect for us… a great home base for our adventures. Very peaceful, cozy and quiet, felt like home! Honestly, we did not want to leave. We will be back for sure!

A wonderful place for family to stay and spread out while we were in Gainesville for FRC Robotics competition. The beds were very comfortable, great mattresses and pillows. We didn't use the kitchen except for breakfast since we were on the go a lot. the refrigerator is not a full size which didn't bother us ; it was perfect for keeping sodas chilled and milk ready for breakfast. The bathrooms were very nice. One bathroom is rather small if you are a large man like my husband but the other shower was roomy. We even saw deer in the backyard. it was only 9 minutes from the venue and close to stores and gas stations as well. The neighborhood felt very safe.

Ariel’s place was great. He was very friendly and communicated very well. The house was very clean and beautiful just like the photos. There was so much room to where everyone had their own space. There was an issue with the garage but the host came out at 9pm and fixed it. There were little snacks and water available which was a great touch since the ice maker was out of service. I would definitely stay again and recommend this

Highly recommend staying here! The balcony is lovely, the views are lovely, and just down the hill is a wonderful brewery with even more lovely views. We love staying in the French broad district and hope to visit again soon.

My sister and I loved the house! Everywhere we went it was literally within 5-20 min. Walking distance even. Unfortunately it was a rainy weekend so we could not explore with walking. During the night inside and outside of the house was very well lit. Loved the area and the place!

We had a wonderful stay here with our 3 pups for the weekend, such an ideal location close to everything downtown, hiking, and the arts district and so much more! Their home makes you feel right at home plus a basket of stuff for the pups was a wonderful touch! Hope to be back soon!

Great place to stay and relax. The views are amazing and peaceful. The sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking.

Melodie's place is a slice of heaven if you're looking for a peaceful hobby farm retreat. Around every corner were new discoveries whether the beauty of the landscape or the animals in their various living spaces around the property (horses, cows, chickens, couple friendly cats, and sweet welcoming dog Shelby). If you have time for a walk to the woods you'll be treated to a bubbling brook w a bench beside it for some contemplative time, not to mention flowers to gaze at all along way. We hadn't really been aware of the sauna (maybe it's in the listing and we missed it) but it's an incredible treat if you can find time one evening to check it out. There's even more than the exterior beauty and sauna treat, but I'll let you discover some surprises on your own. Ideally, you'll spend several days so you can take it all in. Melodie's family incl husband + kids were so nice + made us feel at home. Our stay was A+++ and we hope to return. Worth driving a little farther for this GEM.

Absolutely beautiful home! Very private and quiet location. We stayed for a few days and had everything we needed. Hosts provided lots of snacks, drinks, and a very well stocked coffee station. The place was SPOTLESS! Smelled great inside (and outside thanks to all the pretty plants and flowers). We even got a personal welcome note and vase of flowers on the counter when we arrived. We briefly met Chris and Valerie when we got there and they were super kind and welcoming. Could not recommend this stay enough!!

I had an amazing stay at Amy's place "ZEN" on the picturesque farm! The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful scenery all around. The farm itself is wonderful, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The RV trailer that has been transformed into a cozy home is fantastic. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the thoughtful touches made it feel even more special. The space is well-designed, making the most out of every corner. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfasts. They were delightful and provided a great start to the day. Amy's hospitality truly made a difference, making me feel welcome and cared for throughout my visit. I highly recommend Amy's place "ZEN" for anyone looking for a unique and serene getaway. It’s perfect for those who want to unwind and enjoy nature while still having all the comforts of home.

We absolutely loved our stay with Kathleen and her family on their farm. We were so impressed with how important to Kathleen it was that we have an incredible stay. We felt like we booked the finest place in all of North Carolina because she treated us like prized guests every step of the way. The stay included breakfast, which exceeded our expectations in every way. I would rival Kathleen’s dishes with any of the finest bed and breakfasts in the South. It was some of the best food we have had, and we are still raving about it even days later. The room was cute and comfortable. We felt like we were in a little French cottage, which perfectly complimented our experience since we also visited the Biltmore while we were in town. It truly felt like the gilded age at every corner. We enjoyed the animals on the farm. The big dog that watches over the other animals was the sweetest. The goats surrounded us with love. We even got to see newborn piglets and got to hold them. We will be back!

Tamara and Marc were so welcoming and had everything set up for the most amazing experience. There was not one detail left un attended to. They went above and WAY beyond with supplies and amazing treats. For a very small price Tamara prepared the most amazing picnic for us that we had by the creek. We spent hours down there with our pup. The nature and surroundings as well as the beautiful Forrest cabin in the trees were only exceeded by their gracious hospitality. This was an amazing experience and we can’t wait to return. Thank you Tamara and Marc!!!!

This has been our “home away from home” for the past four years. We have stayed here so many times, including all of our Easter breaks. Our son is graduating from SWU in less than two weeks. We will miss our time visiting Eagles Rest.

A paradise for those who love the woods like us. So quiet you could hear gentle breezes blowing through the trees. Cottage was clean and spacious inside. Nice side porch to sit on in the early evening. Ruth and Stephen were very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to another stay.

Margy was a great host! The listing fit our 6-person family well (2 adult couples and 2 children). The place has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. There are additional sleeping areas but they are in a common/shared space (keep in mind if you have more than 2 adult couples). It was clean and quiet. We had zero issues during our stay. I would highly recommend Margy as an expert host. She provides so many amenities (toiletries, plenty of bath towels, cookies on arrival, snacks, breakfast, etc.) - above and beyond expectations! We wish we could have stayed longer because the property was so beautiful!

Gosh, what a dream. Al and Jill were so incredibly friendly and welcoming - and the cozy space we booked was the perfect reprieve from daily the hustle and bustle. Their home is so beautiful - inside and out. We had such a peaceful and restorative weekend there. We so enjoyed the breakfast and the conversations with Al and Jill. We’ll be dreaming of that killer French toast for a long time!

This was our second time staying at this location. We chose it again because it's close to EVERYTHING we need. Very hospitable, quiet, clean, and safe. We arrived late, and knew we'd need snacks. When our host asked if we needed anything sent to our room... AS A MATTER OF FACT, YES!?! There was fresh fruit, yogurt, and cheese placed in the fridge. Baked muffins, pretzels, and snack cakes on our table. We appreciated it all!! I especially loved the text message from housekeeping with the photos of our snacks and their placement! The lights were all on as well. Felt like home. I'm sure we'll be back! Thank you, thank you!
