Den Creek Ranch - Cottage

Gorgeous 46 acre country property surrounded by trees and nestled into the beautiful Kansas Flint Hills. Perfect place to get away for some peace and quiet to enjoy nature and wildlife. Stone fire pits, natural stream "Den Creek", pond full of fish, and walking trails around the property. We welcome families, friends who travels through the area with RV's or mobil homes. There is a fully installed RV HOOKUP available with 30Amp-50 Amp plugs, water/sewer in a very beautiful place on the property.

The Prairie Home

Settled far out in the Tallgrass Prairie of the Flint Hills, the Prairie Home provides wide and endless views from a private hilltop. All rooms in the home, which was built by local craftsmen from native limestone blocks, have huge windows which frame the natural art of the prairie. Handmade woodwork complements the extensive interior stonework. The soaring ceilings provide a backdrop for original art collected by the owners. And everywhere you look, the setting will take your breath away.

Elmdale Treehouse

Elmdale Treehouse is nestled in the trees of historic Chase County. It provides the perfect quiet retreat for couples looking to get away from it all. This prairie hideaway is spacious enough for small families and just minutes away from The National Tallgrass Prairie Preserve, as well as the oldest working Kansas courthouse. Enjoy fishing at the Chase State Lake just a few miles up the road or wade through the cool waters of the Chase Lake Falls and wildlife area. Located in a very old town.

The Lark Inn at FoxHollow

The home is very comfy and great for a long term stay as we have a washer and dryer available. There is a basement with access from the interior for safety during storms if needed. The patio is very secluded and great for outdoor dining; a charcoal grill is provided. In the Sunroom there is a desk and chair and great wifi service. Comfortable for four guests but can accommodate up to 6 guests. (bedroom has a king size bed, sunroom has two twins and sofa fold out into a queen size bed)

You are renting a century-old homestead house. The bathroom on the main floor, 5 beds upstairs. Extra charge for more than 2. If you are physically impaired, stairs may be challenging for you. BREAKFAST. Muffins, fruit & Good coffee! Nice propane Grill, side burner & dishes provided. Fire pit. Boat dock with chairs, sunrise! Approval req for small children. No pets, No parties. FastWIFI. Long stay disc. This is a fav for couples. If you will have visitors, we must know in advance.

Plum Street Guesthouse

Plum Street Guesthouse is a lovely Victorian home on a quiet residential street in the heart of Cottonwood Falls and the Flint Hills. It is just a few blocks from downtown shopping, restaurants, the historic Chase County Courthouse and the River Bridge Park. It is less than 5 miles from Chase County Lake, Tallgrass Prairie National Park, and a National Scenic Byway. Enjoy the comfortable home, the front porch and the shady patio and back yard. Middle Creek Historic Ranch

Step back in time in an 120 year old farm house. Enjoy the view of Flint Hills from the many windows, while the indoors provide you with modern conveniences. Take a walk to the creek, or just roam the Kansas prairies. In the evenings, spend time around the outdoor fire pit, listening to nature and making s'mores. It's a short drive to Strong City and Cottonwood Falls,where you can take in some local history, purchase a few antiques to take home, enjoy a meal at one of incredible eateries.

The "Church" Guesthouse

Come to church this weekend . . . The Church Guesthouse in Cottonwood Falls that is! The Church is an artfully revitalized Presbyterian Church built in 1885 which now has four bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths and will sleep up to 10 adults. Two of the bedrooms ( with queen beds) are downstairs along with a bath and a half downstairs. 2 bedrooms are upstairs (two twins and one with a full size bed) the loft has two twins with a full bath upstairs. Parties and events are not allowed.

Buchman's Stonehorse Inn

Small town with a quiet atmosphere. This inn is very spacious, with lots of character. A large front porch with a comfortable porch swing as well as a patio furniture to have your breakfast, or a glass of wine at the end of the day after hiking the tall grass prairie preserve. This house is decorated with ranch motif, and lots of pictures on the walls from all of our dude ranch events. When you walk in and shut the door you leave all your worries behind.
