Relax in the clawfoot tub after a day of travel or prepare a home-cooked meal in the well equipped kitchen. When morning comes, enjoy your coffee while cozied up in front of the fireplace. Or simply stay in bed and admire the view. With plenty of land to explore, a hike is always welcome. The choice is yours!

Our guest house is a private detached studio apartment. Close to many local activities, including Kingdom Trails mountain biking, V.A.S.T. snowmobiling, Burke Mountain Resort and beautiful Lake Willoughby. The full kitchen includes a refrigerator/freezer, range with oven, toaster, coffee pot, silverware, glassware, and cookware. Waterbury Center Guest Bedroom - 244 Howard

The guestroom room has a separate entrance located off a covered, back porch with a small table and chairs for summer use. There is adjustable heat and cool air from the wall mounted air-source, heat pump. The little kitchen alcove is convenient for coffee or tea or a light meal (toaster oven, single induction “hot” plate, water heater) We live in a historic building. Our neighborhood is very close to Rte 100. Waterbury village and Stowe are nearby too with skiing, hiking and biking.

Northeast Kingdom, VT Clyde River House

Clyde River Farm & Forest's secluded Northeast Kingdom river retreat, the Clyde River House provides stunning views, shoreline, numerous birds, including bald eagles, nesting osprey, blue herons, and a pair of loons. Canoes and kayaks available for your use. Hiking, biking, cross country, downhill skiing trails, and snowmobile trails are within a short hike or drive of the house. Located directly across the street from the golf course/nordic center, next to the Ice Haus & the Water Park. Walk to the tram in the morning. Great destination for a small family, couples getaway or just a place to rest your head after a long day skiing/boarding. Newly renovated bathroom. Sweet and simple. Pets welcome!

Village Camping Cabin

Located in the heart of Brownington Village, and about 15 miles from the Canadian border, our property allows for easy access to many scenic locations. Enjoy all that Vermont's Northeast Kingdom has to offer including many beautiful lakes, hiking trails, bike paths, and ski areas. There are about a dozen homes in the village and you will hear traffic going by, including horses and buggies carrying our Amish neighbors.
