DD2 Charming Getaway: Karoo Cottage & Garden

Escape to our stylish cottage in the heart of Prince Albert, Groot Karoo. This charming getaway boasts a spacious room with a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom (and floor-bed for a small child and cot for a smaller child). Enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and unwind in your private garden oasis on a comfortable stoep. Located in a tranquil setting, it's perfect for solo travelers or couples seeking relaxation or couples with small kids. Larger groups? Consider booking both cottages!

Numbi Valley, a magical Permaculture Farm

Numbi Valley is a wonderful example of off-grid sustainable living. There is one private guest cottage on the farm and Kath and Ross welcome you to enjoy their uniquely created space. There are abundant organic gardens, a spring fed fresh water plunge pool with amazing views, all in a very beautiful and peaceful valley in the klein karoo countryside. There are scenic walks, cycling routes, fresh produce , excellent massage, delicious pizza, stargazing and wi-fi. We would love to have you stay!

Pane Vivente Garden Cottage

Pane Vivente's residential location enables our guests to truly relax away from the hustle & bustle of the busy main road while allowing them to immerse themselves in the towns thriving cultural landscape. Please note that we are approximately 1.5km from the CBD. Cottage has access to the back garden with mature trees and lawn. Comfortably sleeps two adults only or two adults and two children on the double sleeper couch. Not suitable for four adults. Safe parking for one vehicle per booking.

Luxury meets Karoo hospitality at Kerneelia, a quaint and secluded cottage with a wonderful mountain view on our Klein Karoo farm near De Rust. This romantic cottage is located on Doornkraal, a farm that has been in the loving hands of five generations of our Le Roux family. Come take in the fresh air and explore our farm on foot or bicycle. We also offer horseback riding, a great way to see the area and get to know our beloved horses. Included in rate: A bottle of wine, some fire wood.

Groenfontein Valley is not a place you rush. Most guests arrive for two nights and wish they had booked three. Wide skies, long walks, fires at night, and mornings without alarms — this is a stay measured in days, not hours. Beautiful & comfortable heritage cottage in the historic town of Prince Albert. Quiet and peaceful surrounds, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Large garden full of fruit trees and birds. Please note that most of our guests who book for one night regret not staying longer, so we do recommend longer stays if you have the time!
