The experience will begin in Neukölln, my neighborhood where we will set you up with a comfortable bike. All bikes are unique and unmarked so we can roll around town incognito. Firstly, we will cruise through the old Tempelhof Airport which is now a huge park. Here I will give a detailed introduction to the tour and lay a foundation as to why techno music, street art, squatting, artists and alternatives is what makes up the fabric of the city and how this is intertwined into Berlin’s rich history. From here we head to Kreuzberg - Kottbusser Tor and Görlitzer Park and take in a myriad streetart and graffiti listen to artists stories and the affiliation with this district and take in the unique vibe of the SO36 district. From here we will cycle over the Öberbaumbrüke a former check point from west to east into Friedrichshain. Here we will ride past the Berlin Wall and see how the city is changing rapidly right before our eyes. Gentrification has finally arrived. We then walk through an abandoned railway yard now home to various clubs and bars before rolling past Berghain, Yaam Club, a legal and illegal squat, a treehouse before heading back to base in. We will have a break half way for some drinks or food depending.

Everybody takes photos nowadays, especially while traveling. But there's a distinct difference between snapping a quick shot of a landmark and carefully crafting a photograph. The goal of this photowalk through the center of Berlin is to provide you with the basic photographic skill set to capture some of Berlin's most iconic landmarks in the best light. The blue hour is when a city is most photogenic. It's the time of day when natural and artificial light are equally bright and complement each other perfectly. Did you ever wonder how to capture those cool light-trails or how to get a shot of a famous landmark without any people in it? Well, I will happily share all of the tips and tricks I use myself to capture cityscapes during the blue hour. After providing an overview of the technical aspects of night and cityscape photography, we will dive right into it, apply what we've learned, and test it in the field. This way you will not only end up with some stunning shots for your social media, but also with the knowledge to make your next city trip a photographic success, too. Other things to note The only thing you'll need to bring is your own camera. In case you don't own a camera, please let me know in advance and I can lend you one. I can provide two tripods in case you don't have one or don't want to bring it. You should wear comfortable shoes since we will walk a bit ;).

Wir treffen uns am Hackeschen Markt und erkunden dort das alte Jüdische Berlin. Wo kam es zur größten spontanen Protestdemonstration gegen den Holocaust? Wo versteckte ein mutiger Berliner blinde Juden vor den Nazis? Und was wurde aus Berlins ältestem Jüdischen Friedhof? Eindrucksvolle Denkmäler, unglaubliche Geschichten und magische Hinterhöfe gibt es hier zu entdecken. Wir sehen einen der einzigen Orte, wo der wilde, kreative und bunte Charme der 90er-Jahre noch zu sehen ist. Außerdem zeige ich euch meine Lieblingsstraße in ganz Berlin - die große Hamburger Straße - weil es hier so unglaublich viele Geschichten zu erzählen gibt und die Zeit stehen geblieben zu sein scheint. Wie wurde die neue Synagoge gerettet? Und wieso kam Martin Luther King nach Ostberlin? Danach reisen wir per U-Bahn in den ältesten Teil der Stadt, der komplett im Dornröschen-Schlaf liegt. Hier lernen wir, was der U-Bhf Klosterstraße mit dem alten Babylon gemein hat. Wo steht Berlins mittelalterliche Stadtmauer noch? In welchem Restaurant soll schon Napoleon gespeist haben? English below / Diese geführte Radtour führt zu Berlins Top-Sehenswürdigkeiten, durch Wohngebiete ("Kieze") & Parkanlagen, oft entlang der Spree. Der Startort ist zwischen Velodrom und Volkspark Friedrichshain, gut erreichbar mit S-Bahn, Tram und Bus! Die Rundtour bietet abwechslungsreiche Einblicke in die Stadt(geschichte) und zeigt anhand "Früher-Heute-Bildern", wie schnell sich das Gesicht Berlins verändert. Beispielhaft seien die Berliner Mauer und das Stadtschloss genannt. Parallel wird deutlich, wie grün und Fahrrad freundlich Berlin im Zentrum ist. Einzelne Stopps werden durch die Fotostrecke bzw. das Video verdeutlicht. Die Gesamtstrecke beträgt ca. 19 km und ist durchgehend flach. Die Benutzung von Fahrrädern + Helmen ist im Preis enthalten (keine E-Bikes). Kinder- und Jugendfahrräder sowie Kinder- und Babysitze stehen gratis zur Verfügung.
