Cowman's Cottage

Cowmans Cottage is one of seventeen holiday cottages at Town Farm, on the edge of the Chilterns. We are a working arable farm, with some sheep over the surrounding hills, we are lucky to have views over to Ivinghoe Beacon on one side, and Aylesbury Vale on the other. All the cottages each have their own unique charm, and we also run a campsite during the summer months. Well Cottage

Well Cottage was created in 2017 from the former wash-house and bakery for Townsend Farm, dating from 1858. It is fronted by an authentic pebble courtyard and stands, together with the farmhouse, in a romantic English country garden. The cottage is warm, comfortable and refurbished to a high standard. The view to the rear is across cultivated farmland. The garden opens to the public under the National Garden Scheme on specific dates to raise money for nursing and health charities.

We are in the beautiful, bustling market town called Olney which is very lively throughout the day and then very quiet after midnight. Our lovely Grade 2 listed house is 400 years old, with many character features . It is stone built, making it cosy in the Winter and ice cool in the Summer. It has 6 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 staircases and a peaceful, huge and gorgeous garden at the rear. The house is ideal for families/children/friends/hens/ groups of guys working away.

Open-plan living area with a fully-fitted kitchen and breakfast bar which seats up to four people. The kitchen also includes an oven, electric hob, microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washer-dryer and a fridge. The living area consists of a four-seater sofa with TV and DVD player. Two Bedrooms (second single bed only suitable for a small child) and a family bathroom with heated towel rail and bath / shower is located upstairs with an additional toilet on the ground floor.
