The Uncommon Stay

The Uncommon Stay offers the entire second floor of a beautifully preserved early 1900s building as your private retreat. Accessed via two flights of stairs, it features three bedrooms, 9-foot ceilings, a full kitchen, and a spacious living room that sleep six comfortably. Stylishly updated while honoring the warmth of the original building. Steps from the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library, 15 minutes from Iowa City, and 20 minutes from Kinnick Stadium.

Small upstairs room with a twin bed, warm quilt with extra pillows, bedside table with a lamp for reading, a dresser and a small window. Race Car wallpaper. This room defines cozy. Great room for a kid. Please Note: The roof line is not insulated so the room is normally only available in spring and fall when temperatures are comfortable. No AC unit in room, fan available.
