Owl’s Landing Cottage is located high up in the foothills of the Sentential Mountain Range in scenic Keene NY, "Heart of the High Peaks." Keene is a major destination for hikers, climbers, skiers, anglers, artists and other adventurous and creative types. Trailheads and the East Branch Ausable River are easily accessible from the cottage. In Keene you’ll find locally-owned shops, markets, and cafes. We are 15 minutes from Whiteface Mountain, an Olympic Ski Resort and 15 minutes from Lake Placid.

This chalet is also a scenic, 15 minute drive to Lake Placid. This charming A-frame is picturesque and reminiscent to the setting of a hallmark movie. Whether you cozy up inside next to the fireplace, gazing out the window at Whiteface, or gather around the fire pit making memories and s'mores, you are going to love this chalet!

Unique Rustic Adirondack Cabin

This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

Historic Icehouse in 980 Acres Private Wilderness

The Icehouse is a historic house situated in the High Peaks. The building is surrounded by a stunning private wilderness, with trails, brooks, and fields that no one but guests have access to. As the Park gets more crowded, enjoy undisturbed hiking, back-country skiing, biking, or simply going for picnics to take in some of the best views in the East! The house is very well equipped and has a great kitchen, comfy beds with high-end mattresses and linen, as well as unique furniture and artwork.

Our cabins are centrally located to all things outdoors in Lake Placid. We are steps away from Mt. Vanhoevenberg. Moments drive from Cascade Ski Center. 2-minute drive from Cascade trailhead. 10-minute drive to the Adirondack Lodge. 10-minute drive to downtown Lake Placid. 20 minutes to Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort. Whether it’s skiing, hiking, biking, climbing, swimming, or fishing the Adirondacks have it all & we’re the perfect spot to embrace the true feeling of the Adirondacks.

Fountains Cabin

This basic cabin is centrally located on Rt 73 close to climbing cliffs and trailheads. With a private setting in the woods it offers a great base for your Adirondack adventures. Please note that this accommodation will be a „GLAMPING“ experience. The cabin HAS NO SHOWER and a limited supply of 5 gallons of water. It is not impervious to the outdoors. Although the cabin is regularly cleaned thoroughly there will be the occasional bug or spider crawling along minding its own business.

Only five minutes to Whiteface Mountain and less than 15 minutes to downtown Lake Placid, the convenience of the location is key for both outdoor enthusiasts and those looking to just getaway and relax in nature. The Ausable River and Lake Everest are both within walking distance.

This cabin is set in a gorgeous, tree-rimmed meadow directly on John's Brook, just 1/2 mile from the village of Keene Valley. Miles of trails are outside your door for your summer or winter enjoyment. Fly fish in the brook just steps from the house or climb Marcy and the range from the front door!
