Nestled atop a hillside and overlooking the Irish sea and Carlingford Lough, this is a haven for family , or individuals who want to get away from “ the madding crowd “ and live as one with nature. This family home is within two miles of the medieval village of Carlingford and the home of some of the finest restaurants and bars on the North East coast. Enjoy the excellent quality food and service with the famous locally grown Carlingford oysters washed down with locally brewed beers. Take the local fifteen minute ferry ride and you will arrive at the Royal County Down golf club. Should you prefer things to be a little less hectic , take one of the many hiking trails just outside your back door, or retire to the sun room to read and relax. Alternatively , just meander through the beautifully matured Ros Cottage garden all lovingly planted by the owner. This is a very unique and beautiful home with an abundance of character. Our 1968 Bedford TK Horse Lorry has been lovingly converted into guest accommodation for 2 adults using repurposed materials to create a cosy, welcoming hideaway. It is the perfect base to explore the panoramic North Coast of Ireland with its many tourist attractions. There are a great selection of restaurants and quality coffee shops nearby.

Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER

Hillside Lodge

Hillside Lodge is nestled in the village of Rostrevor, with restaurants, pubs, Kilbroney Park & the beach all within a 1 minute stroll from the front door. The lodge is a warm enticing space with a wood burning stove & spiral staircase to the bedrooms. A large garden lies to the front of the lodge great for children to play football or basketball. The lodge is a renovated old coach house, the main house that it belonged to is available for larger parties, it sleeps 10 (Hillside Holiday Home)

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.
