We are not able to accommodate children The first level (ground floor level of the villa)consists of the cosy decorated lounge with flat screen TV, a dining area and the fully equipped little kitchen which can be separated from the lounge by an artfully painted sliding door. A small terrace invites you to sit outside for breakfast or sundowners. From the lounge a staircase leads downstairs to the basement with it's bedroom, a passage to the bathroom(shower only)and the dressing room. The King size bed can be separated and configured into single beds. Our guests are invited to sit in the beautifully landscaped garden on their own terrace with sun loungers and side table or enjoy the big swimming pool . From here stunning views over the whole bay and the surrounding mountains as well as spectacular sunsets will delight your senses. There is a full kitchenette with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, an en suite bathroom, lounge area with a large flat panel TV and an open-plan dining area. The apartment is serviced daily except for Sundays and public holidays. We have solar and battery power so are not affected by power outages. Battery backed up Wi-Fi and additional lights for surviving load shedding. No smoking allowed on property. Guests have own cottage with a private, shady courtyard. Herbs in planters in courtyard and dart board are available for guests to use as well as lemons on own lemon tree. We're an international family consisting of a South African, a New Zealander and a Norwegian. One of us will always be available on our phones and we're happy to chat and share a G&T on our porch if our guests are up for it! This guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood, about 15 minutes by car from town and near to vibrant Harfield. Closer still, the village offers a farm stall, butchery, and supermarket within a short walk, plus coffee shops and lots of restaurants. We always recommend uber for short term stays in Cape Town but there is an off-street sheltered parking available if needs be. 10 minute walk to Kenilworth train station and 2 minute walk from Main Road with frequent taxi buses in both directions. Servicing of cottage and laundry can be done on request. Continental breakfast can be provided on request.
