Unfortunately you cannot dive from or dock boat on wharf. Ideal for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing or simply just putting your feet up and relaxing. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

Both are fully insulated with heat pumps. The two cabins are about 100 feet apart; they each offer a secluded, covered porch overlooking the Bra d'Or. We cap each cabin at 4 guests and 2 cars. Although we have lots of parking available for snowmobilers. Ask first before booking.

A short walk down the hill takes you to your own private beach on the Mira River to swim in the day and enjoy a bon fire at night. The spacious deck has a large hot tub and chairs to enjoy the views. The property also has its own 1km hiking trail that circles the property.
